I would recommend the MOGA Pro. It is natively supported in many games and emulators available on the Play Store.

I just bought the Sony DualShock 3 Wireless Controller and it works like a charm with my new Nexus 7 2013 running Android 4.3 JSS15Q
Do note that you will need a third party app, Six Axis Controller, to make it work wirelessly over bluetooth!
I am enjoying Shadowgun, Dead Trigger and Riptide GP2 flawlessly with my Wireless PS3 DualShock 3 controller
The same controller also works perfectly with my Nexus 4!
Hit the THANKS button if I have helped you in any way :good:

Hi,
I was struggling to find a solution to my problem, making gaming on-the-go with my sixaxis more portable...
I wanted a solution i could put in my work bag to have to hand on the journey to and from work, so i came up with this:
Here's some vids of it in action:

Cheers,
Dickie.
Very interesting idea. I am looking for something like this myself. If you could perfect the idea with it clipping or clicking onto the pad instead of the screws it would be good enough to put a few on ebay!
EDIT
LOL just read the bottom of your post and good to see you took my advice!
Hey guys.
This is way cool, I would buy one too. How do you go about getting the Xbox controller to work with the phone tho?

If you want to do gaming on the HTC One X, you MUST get a battery pack! Especially if you're playing on high brightness, trust me.
If ur a serious htc gamer then u shud get a mhl to hdmi adaptor and connect ur phone to ur tv. I'd recommend that rather than gettin a battery pack

Yeah it's nice to use it on the tv don't need PlayStation anymore...

Xbox controller + nexus 7.....that'll do for me..... But I'm asking the same question

Has anyone used a gameklip on their one x?
it says it is compatible with the hox but it looks to me like the clip is going to block the headphone jack, most games default to the rotation where the headphone jack is to your left and dont rotate the other way.
Buying this
Sorry to bump and older thread, but I found something very interesting on ebay: it's a dual-stick bluetooth controller with a built-in clip.

I haven't bought one yet myself, but I thought some others might be interested in it.

The Archos game pad has built in controls similar to the Xperia Play. Google search it & see for yourself.
Not much tablets has got gaming controls.
PS Vita (small "tablet")
Nexus 7 (isnt for gaming but its cheap and its smooth)
Sent from my R800i using xda app-developers app
If I should buy a tablet today, it would be the Nexus 7.
I have an Ainol Novo 7 elf already, so I cant really justify the purchase.
I feel that 7 inch is big enough for at tablet, any bigger and it will be to bulky and heavy to play games on, and all apps and games made fore a smaller screen will lock like crap on a 10 inch screen.
Also I hate onscreen touch controller on my phone, but on the 7 inch tablet, i can use them quite comfortably.
The only downside with the Nexus 7 is the lack of micro SD slot, so the 32Gb version is the only one to consider.
Playstation games should work quite well whith Fpse
Games can be played from a usb stick on the nexus 7 now so storage is no longer a problem.
Also, its awesome for gaming, and the sixaxis app makes it all the better
IMO, its the best gaming device out ATM
If you can wait, the wikipad looks to be quite good and is playstation certified too
Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T using xda app-developers app
I've got the transformer prime, and I can easily connect my ps3 controller through the docks usb port. And it has a tegra 3 processor, meaning you can play the tegra hd version of some games.

wow i am impressed!
I probably would have sprung for a Nexus 7, but it doesn't have video/hdmi out. Not having it on our Xperia Plays; I think it becomes more crucial to at least have it from your tablet, unless you just don't care about video out. I believe the WikiPad does have hdmi out. The Nexus 7 is a sweet little tablet though if you don't care about hdmi out.

I am also going to recommend the Wikipad. I have one preordered.

Theoretically, with a USB OTG cable. But I don't have one yet, so I can't test it.

hi
i want to buy a gamepad for my nexus 5. I have no idea about these gamepads. i want to buy the gamepad which can hold the nexus 5 like that nvidia shield. please suggest me
I got the MOGA PowerPro and it works perfectly. It was a bit expensive at $80.

Generic Gamepads work. if not, just install Sixaxis and try again. I use a Generic Gamepad for playing PSP Games (thru emulators).
+1 for the Moga. Coolest thing ever.
