n00b lol. it's there to allow you to change what keyboard you're using. if you know you specifically want to use one and never change it then disable the rest of them in language and input under settings and it'll disappear.

It's part of ICS. Was a little odd to see at first, but a handy way of switching keyboards. I suggest you get used to it cause future versions might still have this as part of the OS.

Just search the threads for how to root your phone. Its easy takes about 10-15 minutes not even. Then after you have root, download the app from the play store and uninstall anything you want, just be careful not to uninstall the wrong thing.

How did you get the apps to stick? When you uncheck the module and reboot, it returns the list to the way it was originally.

Make sure you're using the default browser and not a 3rd party app.
Does this work on your phones? I've always used the stock camera on this phone for instagram, but with the new video update I switched over to the instagram advanced camera and it doesn't work. I got on my wife's phone and checked out hers since she didn't upgrade instagram yet and the camera also doesn't work on hers. I have Lifeless v14 on hers right now and I'm currently running Vectus.
I just tried my instagram camera I'm running beanstalk and it doesn't open.

I just downloaded the newest version on my phone, running Stock OTA JB-rooted, nothing else and it seems to work just fine on mine just fyi. Must be something missing in the custom ROMs or they just aren't playing nice together lol.
Doesn't work on Slim Venom rom. I would like to know what other roms would work with Instagram.

As a temp fix you can go to developer options and disable hw overlays but you'll have to do it every reset. If I remember correctly pimp my ROM has an option to permanently disable it but I'll check Ok that later tonight

I'm now on rootbox, and this method isn't working for me. It does work on my wife's phone, she is using Lifeless.
It opens but it lags and once it pops up I get an error stating "cannot connect to camera" and force closes.
***Edit*** It works perfectly on Spleef's AOKP

Hi I was wondering if there any setting or app that let me put notification at bottom. I Google and people say set DPI to 213 to force it bottom but its not working. I'm using carbon ROM and it doesn't have that tablet mode option. If any one knows please guide me thanks

I don't think this will help you, anyway. That build.prop tweak just gives you onscreen controls. I've never used Carbon so I'm not sure what the options are. PA includes a Tablet UI.

He's right. I misread the op. But yes, end of build.prop. I used es file explorer.
