Hi
I got this Extra Battery Kit 1.900mAh EB-K5000BEWEGWW for my I9192 S4 mini Duo which unfortunately has the sticker S4mini LTE.
The original battery in my s4 Mini is B500AE, the one in the kit is B500BE . Can I still use it? is it the right battery? or I should return it to the seller?
Cheers
The battery kit is meant for the LTE model but the battery should work fine with your phone anyway. The only difference should be the addition of the NFC antenna in the battery (thus the need for a fourth pin, which the battery kit's charger doesn't use)
It's the NFC antenna, not the LTE.
Meh. My bad. Edited
So is it safe to use or not

I want to buy an OEM battery for my gs3 so I can replace it when its out of battery. Could someone find a link to the actual one that you find in shipped devices? I dont want a knockoff or an extended battery. Thank you.

I actually like my QCell 2300 better. Its battery life is equal if not abit better and only 10$. also has nfc
Here's just the battery http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-EB-L1G6LLAGSTA-Galaxy-Standard-Battery/dp/B0089VO7OM
I recommend the extra battery kit though, it doesn't cost much more and it comes with a charger that also acts as a stand http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-ETC-CP1G6LGSTA-Galaxy-Battery-Charging/dp/B0089VO7QU

I assume that its only for the S3 because the batteries are most likely different sizes. But you would have to ask someone who knows
Dear all,
I just bought the I9305. I was surprised that the battery size is different from the I9300! The battery in the I9305 is larger than the I9300. Does anyone have more information on the difference? For some reason, sites like GSM Arena don't reflect this difference.
how big was yours?

Dimensions or capacity? The capacity is 2100mAH found both the 9300 and 9305

I dont think they're different I'll check because I just bought an extended battery allegedly for the i9300.

They are exactly the same size and are even interchangable between each other. I have them both in front of me. What on earth made you think they are different? Everything n the housing between I9300 and I9305 are interchangable even the Back cover. I have tried it all.
Here are 3 pictures of my I9305. The first picture shows the phone and the provided battery together. The next picture shows the S3 I9300 original Samsung battery I bought. Then you can see the comparison of the provided I9305 battery and the I9300 battery.
Unless the packaging wording for the I9300 extra battery I bought was wrong and it was not meant for S3 (which I triple checked!), there is DEFINITELY a difference.

The "i9300 original battery" is probably fake.
Mine is taller, just like the i9305.
The smaller batery has "EB-L1H2LLK" code on it, which refers (google it) to Chinese SCH-I939 Galaxy S3, not the I9300.
Does the anker sold by laptopmate on amazon work with the i9305, because it isnt in the compatible list..,

OO Ohhh not good bro..You have bought the wrong battery that is NOT a I9300 battery,

If it works for the I9300 then it works for the I9305, reason its not on the compatible is because the new S3 is not as well known yet
Well I rolled up some paper and stuffed it into the empty space when using the smaller size battery. It works.
Guess I got duped. Actually got it in Korea and it said S3 or SIII. Guess there are too many S3/SIII versions now.

That one is not for a legitimate S3, it's a clone S3 battery.
So, nope.. not "many" versions, only if you count knockoffs..

it's not a knockoffs, that battery belongs to korean version of S3, i just got a used korean S3 today, and when i try to purchase backup battery, it doesn't fit in, the i9300 battery is 5mm longer. both got the same capacity though.

I have an NTTdocomo SIII SC-03E and it also uses the shorter (but same width, thickness, capacity 2100mah) EB-L1H2LLK battery.
Definitely NOT a clone and I suppose yes, there are many SIII versions.
Btw, the SC-03E has a retractable antenna for its tv tuner. It's on the top right quite near the front camera. Maybe that is why they needed a shorter battery because of the space the tv tuner MIGHT have occupied.

Although it is not possible to maintain the same capacity with the same thickness and other dimensions AND losing length.
Or else they would opt for higher capacity overall - well I guess it's a stupid design.
I found out and with a few mods, an SII (i9100) battery will fit an SC-03E. Slice off part of the side notch guides beside the battery terminal side (no need to slice off the other side notch) and removing the black spacer beneath the battery. The width of the SII battery is about 2-3mm narrower and its capacity is only 1750mah. I can manage about 16hrs with light usage with both wifi and data switches active.
Hi, I can't seem to find a normal 1650 mAh i9100p battery here in the UK, so would a i9100 1650 mAh battery fit? I don't care about the loss of NFC, I'm more concerned about whether an i9100 battery will fit and work in my i9100p. Thanks.

yes it will
I tried, and my phone kept shutting down / dying in it's sleep.
I have a i9100p and a mate got i9100, the battery works fine in his phone though.
My original battery works fine, the shutting down is only with the replacement.
Will work fine you will just lose NFC
Sent from my GT-I9100p using Tapatalk 2
Why should he lose NFC ? It's just a battery not a new Motherboard. It should work fine because the only difference between i9100 and i9100P is a NFC chip as far as I know.

It won't fit. I've just tried a standard Samsung i1900 battery in my i1900p and they are a slightly different shape in the top right corner where the i1900p needs an extra cut out on the battery. The battery for the i1900p is also slightly thicker and less rounded.
Hope this helps
You lose NFC because if you look close at the battery it ses NFC on the label the NFC antenna is in bedded in to the battery and I have used i9100 batterys in my i9100p as a spar and worked fine for me now upgraded tho..

Hello I have SGH-T999L and I am interesting to swap present battery for a bigger one. For now I have got this one:
Battery Type and Size, 3.8 Volt, Lithium Ion, 2100mAh
What kind of battery Can I use. Do I have to look only for a special one for my LTE mobile phone. I am from EU and i couldn't find dedicated one for my S3 LTE. Thanks for any infos.

I'd get standard Galaxy S3 battery from ZeroLemon. They have a monster 7000 MAh battery on Amazon.
Since the phone is essentially the same except for LTE Antenna, I don't see issue why the S3 Battery won't work.
Unfortunately I have a S4 Mini, 9195T
So to add to the list of issues I have with this phone I had to recently replace the battery. I made sure I got an OEM battery, but with this phones pathetic history with me I am not suprised somthing as simple as this broke somthing.
So since I got a new battery NFC has stopped working.
I made sure to get a NFC battery... and as it is a 9195T its the 2100mha battery EB-L1G6LLU
I have tried several tags, all work with my nexus 7, and NFC is ticked on in settings.
I got another battery and tested, it also does not work.
Running stock or slimkat makes no difference.

stock oem battery has 1900mAh capacity.
Not 2100mAh. May be you bought a clone battery.
Nope,
The 9195 has a 1900mAh battery, the 9195T has a 2100mAh battery the same one as the S3.
Its just a bit thicker to add the space for the larger battery, so it wont fit into any case.

If that is so.. it must be a hardware problem. Contact samsung service. Hopefully they will help.
