You can reset your LG using LG Flashing Tool.
1.Get the LG Flashing Tool
2.Set your G Pro in Download mode.
3.Flashing tool will download firmware and flash your phone.
I just solved my G Pro's 'Insecure booting error' with Flashing tool.

Get the MegaLock.DLL here https://www.dropbox.com/s/lpdqz72e9092lo7/MegaLock.dll
Put it in Flashing Tool installed directory. It won't ask you for the login.
sw version ,I downloaded the stock rom but flashtool cannot recogise the file

Flashing Tool will download firmware on line.
It won't find firmware locally. Your phone can only be flashed to the latest version of your phone.

Did you disconnect Internet and turn off anti virus.also change pc date to June 10, 2012 or prior!

You can get it by using the mobileTool Software from LG.
Follow this method and it downloads the latest firmware for you.

The firmware kdz file you can get on C:\ProgramData\LGMOBILEAX\Phone when the download is finished. But be sure to get it before the kdz extraction is finished! It will delete by itself.

Hi there folks
I rooted my LGOG with the motochopper method and it gave me a lovely rooted device.
Then i decided to install Rom Manager and grant it super user acces.
When i rebooted after the rom manager had downloaded the recovery files it got stuck at
"secure booting error!"
Cause : boot certification verify
My problem now is ive got all the tutorial files found in this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2010624 post, but the original firmware program doesn't connect to the lg servers with my model number and IMEI.
Could someone with an E975 help me with a stock kdz so i can save whats left of the brick, it can stil do download mode etc and switch off.

i heave same problem.nothing ist lost.dont panic.i heave this kdz file atvhome.you must fladh overit and the phone will boot up normal.when i come home i will upload this file to my dropbox.that will hapen in 30minutes.greatings

Well, maybe you will not get errors next time if you UNLOCK THE BOOTLOADER.Only rooting is not enough. You need root to be able to use FREEGEE,to unlock the bootloader. Unlocking the bootloader with freegee will also flash CWM recovery or TWRP, depending on your choice.
See what happens when you don't document yourself properly before trying to do things?
All is fine now, i couldn't download the KDZ since i edited my host file when flashing the L9 two months back.
Im waiting on the freegee support now. cheers

After that Access to recovery mode CWM
AND I can login to download mode

Using LGFlashtool 2014 is the best way.
Flash your F240 with Kitkat kdz file using LGFlashtool 2014.
Root.
Flash Kitkat Recovery.
Reboot to Recovery.
Flash TWRP Recovery in CWM.
Reboot to TWRP Recovery.
Flash SEUXG5 zip file created by SHIELD.
Done.
Right now I'm using SEUX G5 by Shield.
So far this rom is the fastest and stable for my F240L, got 31500 score in Antutu 6.1.4
Not to mention best battery life also.
My lg e980 has vanir 4.3 and will not boot to recovery, and will not flash in download mode with lgflashtool. I cant use the kdz method because the e980 uses .tot files. Can someone explain how to convert them? Ive gotten the tot file extracted but cant turn it into a cab file to encrypt to a kdz. HELP!!!

Are you flashing a KDZ or TOT? If KDZ you don't need to touch these files.

If it shows up your device information, go down to the SW part and click on the link and it should download the KDZ for your device. Then use the stock guide to flash it back to stock (takes 5 mins).

It showed only part of the info.

And according with all stamps and the imei the phone is F400L but on the settings of the device it is as F400K. Do you know if this is normal? I tried install the TOT of the F400L and it doesnt worked.
