you can copy the widget from the arc s to your s, its as simple as
(musicwidget.apk found in /system/app)

Dint work went to the xperia neo section but it looks like they only had for Ics and Gb but not the latest jb help my fone is rooted no cwm official firmware

Then u too have to downgrade ur SXS to ICS or GB to try it since the original is for ICS and GB as u said..
If they could develop for Gb n Ics then I think they can make one for jellybean can't downgrade after waiting so long for jb

Hi Dev's,
Why don't we have a cm as well as AOSP rom for our locked bootloaders because xperia U, P, Sola all have these roms for their locked bootloaders. Then why its not possible for our sxs. There are many guys here whom are unable to unlock their bootloaders waiting for these roms for very long. Please check xperia u sections for any hope.
I love this phone and we have wonderful developers. Hope it will be fixed soon.

It's a ROM, you need at least root and CWM.
