Nothing will work on it, just a heads up to you, it's all just a DevPreview, and the only thing that will work is touching the screen and getting
a feel to what it will be in the future.

Just wanted to say great forum you got here, and would like to say already thanks for all the great stuff you got on here for my hermes.
already i am running wm6 (scnapps rom), with hard spl installed and radio 1.50.
Right here goes in at the deep end !!!!!!
has one one got touch flo working on there hermes as i really like the interface and the fact that you can control the main part of the device with the thumb.
If this is a double post or possibly a re run of another posting ..... sorry in advance.

Hi Alex, and welcome to the forum. You may regret not searching round before you waded in with a new thread - don't be surprised if you get some flaming over it.
The TouchFlo has been discussed and worked on many times in this forum. At the moment, it is possible to get it "working", but you need to active one application (BioFlo) and then open TouchFlo with a hardware button - hence why it's been termed "ButtonFlo" for the Hermes.
Keep an eye on Dutty's threads about his ROMs he's working on at the moment - one of them mentions having ButtonFlo inside.
Short version, don't think you'll ever see it working fully on a Hermes, but you can get close to it with some work. Have a search round the Hermes threads for "TouchFLO" and "ButtonFLO" and get reading!

yeah i sure will get reading , i have checked a fair bit to be honest mate , i have been looking back and forth on the site for sometime , i made the post because i was seeming to see some conflicting info on here about the touch flo way of working the phone and just wanted some advice , sorry for any hassle mate and thanks for the heads up.

Thanks for uploading that, and the tutorial.
I saw you doing a demo on youtube and decided i should give it a go on my touch hd.
There is pretty much zero functionality, though you can play with menus a bit... but more a tease that it COULD be possible on the touch hd than signs of major progress.
After pulling out my battery three times in a few minutes, I guess it will be worth trying sometime in the future when the dialer and address book work.
Tx mate, I will subscribe to this thread in case you update it in future with news of a better version.

thats great, but how do you get out of it again? Do you need to do a soft reset?
ok i tried it, first run it stuck in the shell, softreset not it stuck at the haret boot screen,
the bar gets full, but then the hd hangs and need to soft reset.
So I cant tell you where it hangs in adroid, but the keyboard didnt load, and there are no red dots.

OK wit works, you must not copy the android folder in a subdirectory of your memory card, and i needed to calibrate my screen after booting up

yes you need to to a soft reset, then windows will be loaded again.
Its pretty buggy, I had problems getting out of running apps. the
screen gets messed up sometimes and there are no working
radio/battery drivers

Found it downloaded it,My friend has the g1 so after it booted on the HD he was gutted (didnt point out all the bugs lol) firstly took me over a dozen soft resets to actually get it to work!

This is my first post so forgive me. I was wondering, and looking around, I wanted to know if it there was some way that i could mod my touch pro 2 (verizon, stock rom) to move the home tab. Maybe i'm just weird but i am a symmetrical freak and having the home tab "right aligned" is annoying to me. And as I don't want to go ahead and flash a 6.5 rom and get titanium this would be really great!
While I was looking around I found software for the touch diamond, but apparently that isn't compatible. So If anyone could let me know if there is new compatible software, or if there is a way for me to do this myself that would be great!

I have a HTC touch HD with the most standarg TF3D on it (Version : 3.0 build 32567).
I see all the screens of what you people did with your phone and I like it a lot. So I looked and looked even more on the forum.
And still i can't figure out how to get a nice layout as you have. First I thought I need to find new ROM (Manila) But then I figured out I have Manila becouse it's TF3D.
I just totaly lost it. Can someone point me in the right direction so I can get a new look on my phone with the extra buttons and collorfull taskbar buttons?
I know it has to be found on this forum, And im not lazy to look (did that past week) I just have no clue where to start.

next time, make sure you're in the right section
Hasamm, he was in the wrong section for his device...he was in the right section to find help...we all need help occasionally..I am chief when it comes to needing help lol
x12CHRIS18x...what Hasamm meant is that this is a GSM Touch Pro2 section, your device (I hope, based on the ROM you were looking for) is a CDMA device...if your device is a Sprint device then it is CDMA and there are threads for that type...you can of course PM me if you feel I might be able to help at all
It's not like GSM rom dev section is still a party
