[Q] Live wallpaper picker crashing - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 4

Every time I go to select a Live wallpaper I get the prompt: "Unfortunately Live wallpaper picker has stopped" followed by it crashing.
I'll be able to scroll through my live wallpapers for about 2 seconds before it crashes...
Any ideas? i know there was a member who posted about this a month ago but got no response.

I have been using custom roms and adding the Live Wallpaper apk with no problems at all. I just recently flashed the stock rooted/de-odexed MA4 rom (scottsroms) when i go to use the live wallpaper all of them work with the exception of the Weather Wall. when I try to use it, it crashes and i get a message; "Weather Wall has unexpectedly stopped working" I have looked at permission and they are still set at rw-r-r. but its strange because all the other live wallpapers work, just not the weather wall one. any ideas?

Has anyone successfully used a live wallpaper on the pixel C? Every one I try ends up giving me the following error:
"Unfortunately, Live Wallpaper Picker has stopped."

I'm having problems with the live wallpapers dissapearing after some time and the phone goes back to stock purple-pink-black gradient wallpaper. is there a fix for this?
I'm on android 10
