Title basically says it all: My LTE N7 2013 (bought today) is currently on JSS15J and claims there are no system updates. Can anybody confirm that JSS15Q is not yet out for the LTE version? I want to root as soon as possible but would like to be on the latest stock firmware before.
Thanks in advance for any pointers!

Hi,
I've just got a question about the firmware that people are running on their LTE Nexus 2013 7's.
As soon as I received my Nexus & it pretty much updated to JLS36C.
I've been reading that a newer version JSS15Q has been pushed out OTA since late August, an update that I haven't received to date (in Australia).
Having a look at the factory images for google's Nexus devices, it seems that the JSS15Q firmware version is specific to the Wi-Fi version of the Nexus 2013 and there's no update yet for the LTE version.
I guess my question is, have any Nexus 7 LTE users received the JSS15Q update or is it not applicable or rolling out yet for us.
Thanks
JLS36C is the LTE version of JSS15Q.

Where can i find the official 4.2.2 version released by Samsung for Note 5100? Is there a direct link? Does my tablet have to be rooted to install the 4.2.2 version?

can i install from any region even if my region currently does not have the 4.2 version? are there any step by step instructions? i don't want to brick my phone, my tablet is not rooted does it have to be? thanks so much
Mine got updated to 4.2.2 over wifi today. I did not know it was for 4.2.2. I thought it was for a regular update. Anyway, mine is now running 8.2.2 and lost the multiple windows function.:crying:
I am in USA.
I have the chance to buy a used telus lg og (e973). If it's had all of the OTA updates from telus, can I still root it?
All I can find is some discussion in Feb / Mar of 2013 (after a new 4.1.2 OTA) and it was still possible to root at that time. Can't find more recent info. and don't want to buy it if I can't root / freegee etc. Telus website lists 4.1.1 as most recent update (March 2013) but don't want to rely on that.
I don't yet know the exact firmware version on the phone.
Thanks.
Hi all, would anyone happen to know the eta on the kitkat update for the WiFi version of the galaxy note 8 in Australia? Mine is unbranded and purchased from Harvey Norman.

Australia is usually left behind, and sometime wont ever see an update. Just Flash another regions firmware onto your device its simple, easy and painless.
I usually use the UK version:
http://samsung-updates.com/region/?region=BTU
I have flashed mine with Cyanogenmod , its now running 4.4.4 love it. I recommend if you going to upgrade to CyanogenMod is to install CWM, just incase something goes wrong.
Cyanogenmod: https://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=n5110
CWM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2201860
But i have also flashed prior to using CyanogenMod - the UK Version Firmware for Note 8 - did the Kitkat, did it to my Note 8 and also Samsung S4.
Simple really, download Odin flash it with the new firmware

I dont think official lollipop is /will be available for any of the galaxy s4 mini models. I would advise you to go to sammobile.com and look for the latest firmware for your device(Region specific) and download it. It will be the latest one and it will also serve as a backup official firmware. There after you can root your device(or do any other experiments for that matter), if something goes wrong there is a backup to fall back on.
