[Q] [ROM Problem] **JellySlim_FullPower**evo3 - Sony Xperia S, Acro S, Ion

Hi,
I can't write this post into the right thread (I'm new), so i'm here.
I've installed the new version of this rom EVO3 rel2 but I've experienced two bugs:
The power menù doesn't show anymore the reboot choice
Google drive FC every time
I've made a clean install (wiped everything), moreover I've cleaned cache also after google drive installation, but the results are the same.
Thanks for reading

Hmm it may be a rom problem
Check the changelog for any info, also check peoples post to see if there is anyone else having this problem
If it does have to do with the rom, so you will have to wait for a update

Thanks for your fast reply!! Yes it's effectively a rom bug but sadly I can't help in anyway the developer since I can't post messages to the right place!
Sent from my LT26i using xda app-developers app

you will have to wait for a update to the rom or check if its a unique problem
some bugs can occor on spesific models of a device, i cant use Forzaferrarileo kernel V5(xcp version) becauase recovery mode doesnt work
if not you could try to message the dev,

It has been caused by some of your mods. may be acid (it happened to me on a very early builds) or may be something else.
I don't know how to solve.
i had to flash the system to get rid of it.

I think the message you are getting is : Android is upgrading not updating, and it's AC!D's fault. Uninstall it and you should be fine.

The best way is to flash again the ROM, and if you have apps+data backed up, you can safely reinstall them after.
AC!D cleans up dalvik cache every reboot, hence the message
Flash gaps

Black stripes at top and right of my Homescreen

Hey guys I have a problem at the top and right of my Homescreen are 1mm big black stripes ( See Screenshot ) :crying:!
I tried many things but nothing helped :crying:! I have them since flashing CM 10
I tried:
-Reboot (X)
-Wipe Data/Cache (X)
-Reflash Rom (X)
-Flash another rom (X)
-Flash another Kernel (X)
-Flash stock rom (X) :crying:!
Maybe one of you guys have the same problem or found a solution for it.
I cannot help, but I also have this issue, ever since I flashed JB for the first time from GB. Nothing i have done has fixed this either, and I don't really know how to fix it at all. Help would be much appreciated

Once you have flash the rom after the first reboot when asking if you have a Google account say yes and it will back up all the apps you have before

This thread makes me feel old...
CM's website is one place. Goo manager is another. ROM manager is a third. A simple Google search, search on XDA. All the above and then some.

Every ROM I Flash Gets Bootlooped Why?

Every time I flash a ROM to my galaxy note 2 Sgh-t889 . For example cm11 and omni ROM it keeps staying in bootloop so I tried other Roms and its the same problem. I have the new cwm and I wipe/cache/data and it still stays on bootloop so I'm wondering why can't no Roms work on my galaxy note 2? HELP PLEASE
Build number is- cm_toltetmo-userdebug 4.2.2 jdq39e eng-jenkins.20130923.201142 test-keys

Consider giving out some more detail: exact version and build numbers would be a good start.
Does your phone work on stock?
Have you tried using logcat/monitor.bat to get additional information?
Yes it works on stock and works on cyanogenmod 10.1.3, but eveytime I try a new ROM like any ROM it stays stuck on boot loop and I don't know where to check logcat/monitor.bat @Darkshado
Sent from my SGH-T889 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Stock, which one? (Exact build) same for CM10, nightly? RC? stable?
What recovery are you using to flash? I've had baseband unknown issues with the 2.6.3.7 t0lte TWRP while flashing OmniROM nightlies (yet CM and PACman 4.2 ROMs were OK) whereas it worked just fine with non-touch CWM 6.0.4.1.
What baseband are you using? It may be a matter of updating that. (I have an "unusual" T889V, so I can't give you much specifics on this topic.)
Logcat and monitor.bat are part of the Android SDK, as is ADB.
I had that once,
I solved by going to recovery mode and doing a "factory data reset".
After that, the rom stopped bootloop.
Did you try to install a different recovery?

All I did was use Odin again to factory set it again and get the stock ROM and then I rooted it but this time I added ext4 then it worked perfect

I am willing to try this, can you please explain in detail about this ext4?
