how do I stream music from my S4 to a Google TV? my Google TV is connected to a nice sound system and was just wondering how I can do this. sorry if this is in the wrong category.

Settings, connections, nearby devices. Enable dlna and choose what files to share. Does tv allow to search for media servers? Thats how I stream vids and music to playstation and xbox360

Actually Idk how but when my Google TV is off all I have to do is use the Samsung video player and hit the cast like button and it find Google TV and plays... While the device is still off

I recommend imediashare also, easy to use and have YouTube built in it.
I recon many DLNA apps can stream to your ps3, so just try some of them out.

I use to use imediashare before they became flipps and the app use to be able to stream literally every video format I had. Like my big movie files in mkv etc. I've tried others now like doubletwist and they either don't connect or can't see my movie files.

Just yesterday I was using allshare to stream videos from TV portal to my WDTV, now it doesn't play, I just see the allshare logo and then it tries to play over and over. Music streaming works, just not TV portal. Any ideas?

Maybe if you use it on your laptop then connect to chrome cast you can. Phone have a limited of apps =/
