It's not exactly On The Go if you need an external power source for the usb peripheral though
Just wait for a kernel that supports USB OTG mod. I've heard that Galaxy Mini is now able to use USB OTG. But only for flashdrives, Galaxy Mini has no enough power for game controller (example).

Can you confirm that this works on Galaxy W? Either with or without an external power source for the peripheral.

If no one knows the answer, would someone mind testing it for me please?
It will not work.
You need a Y splitted USB OTG cable (with supply connector).
I'll buy an otg cable if does. Can anyone confirm?

Android One doesn't support OTG.
But there's a discussion for developing a kernel to support OTG.
You can check it here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/cro...e-general/compile-kernel-otg-support-t3085794
