All right, first thing first. Thanks to everybody for this amazing forum and all support.
Well. Here's my story:
1) Planned on installing CM10 nightly
2) Went to recovery (TWRP v2.2.0) and by mistake wiped everything :/ (Cache, Dalvik Cache, Factory Reset, System Internal Storage)
3) In effect i wiped everything including system.
4) Still have access to TWRP and download mode.
Does anybody have a clue how to fix that and install CM10 again?
PS.
1) internal storage does not mount under system (WIN7)
2) TWRP does not recognize microSDXC (32gbz) formated to either exFat or NTFS. (Tried 4 (four) of them)
Should i buy another micro sd like 2gb, format it to Fat32 and drop CM.zip there ? Or need i do something else?
Very respectfully.
That happened to me I just downloaded the rom to a sd card from my old phone put it in my s3 and installed it.

Hey thank you for quick answer. Do you know if there is any limitation for TWRP? It does not read my 32gb MicroSDXC.
Go into download mode and re flash then stock rooted rom.
Then install your twrp and try cm again.

Personally, I would (try to?) use adb with the phone booted into TWRP to transfer the ROM you want to flash over to the phone's internal storage, and go from there.
If that's not a possibility for whatever reason, you'd be best off starting by reflashing a stock rooted image with Odin and going from there.
Well. First of all thank you all for all your help in support. Got it back to stock with root (Odin flash). However there is another small problem that i can't figure out. TWRP itself seem not to have access to anything. I mean it sees all / but after openning /sdcard or anything else all it sees is empty folders. It doesn't have an access to external sd either (when you check log it sees that it couldn't mount ext sd correctly [even if after boot to stock system it recognizes it witout any issues).
Any idea how to solve this problem? What has been tried:
1) Reflash recovery (TWRP 2.2 using ODIN)
2) moving all files to /
3) RootExplorer see files (cm.zip) after reboot TWRP doesn't
4) Installing GooManager (it crashes after granting supersu permissions)
Very Respectfully.
With all those problems, flash to stock rooted and start over. You will be better off in the long run. You may want to also format your external sd.
Don't flash twrp with Odin.
Rooted stock
Dl and use goo manager to get twrp
What about a stock kernel? Just my chime in

Allright small update.
1) ReFlashed to rooted stock (root66_ATT_I747UCDLK3.tar.md5)
2) Installed GooManager
3) Installed TWRP (using GooManager)
4) Downloaded lastest CM10 nightly (cm-10.1-20121218-NIGHTLY-d2att.zip) using GooManager
5) Flashed cm-10.1-20121218-NIGHTLY-d2att.zip from GooManager menu (FlashROM) - Wiped Dalvik & Cache
Now I'm stacked with CM boot splash for past 5 min hoping it just takes longer that it should.
Any ideas?
Very Respectfully.
EDIT:
Booting into recovery and performing factory reset fixes problem.
Thanks to everybody who helped.

GJ take it sure and slow. Other than flashing stock/rooting form Odin I wouldn't flash anything form Odin. Once you have super user on your phone, leave Odin out and do everything from phone
That's the safest route and it gets easier from here. The countless hours you spent are much easier the more you do it. Shouldn't take more than 20 minute to backup and flash roms and new apps from now on
Oh boy.
Almost done. But here are another tiny problems that just bother me and but I think they're solvable.
1) GooglePlay suddenly gives "No Connection" error, even though every other app that requires connection (Messenger, Browser) work just fine.
Have to mention that it worked for a while, installed couple apps (drop some more to install in queue and when I woke up - FAIL!)
Things done:
-Forced to stop
-ClearedData & Cache
Is there any other solution to fix it rather than reflashing gapps ?
2) The ExternalSD is mounted under PC as Internal Storage and vice versa.
When you click "Samsung -GHS-I747) in my computer it shows both with proper sizes but once you click them it opens the other.
No clue how to solve that one.
Very respectfully.

1. you are flashing a version of gapps that is out of touch with your rom or you did not flash it correctly/cleanly. I remember no matter how many times I flashed gapps I wouldn't get it to sync. Backed all user apps to Titanium backup. Did a clean install from scratch, and wallah it worked. Last sort.
Without doing that though there is usually one that is compatible that is listed on your rom page. Flash that one. For me that is 10/22 but I remember it giving that same error for a while so I ended up flashing the previously compatible version before that which was 7/26. Goo.im might help here, I haven't used it myself. Once you find a working gapps version etc. Store your 'safe' builds in one folder
2. Not sure what you mean. When you click your phone you should see internal and external storage on your phone. They are what they say they are. People tend to piss on not being able to find the right file size and folder attributes on this phones usb mount. It is a common problem. Probably one of the few problems on the phone. Annoying but manageable

1) Ended up reflashing gapps with goomanger (script to TWRP)
2) What i mean is that under phone it recognizes them perfectly. Just when I connect phone through USB to PC, my PC tends to mix them up. Just shows ExSD as Internal and Internal as ExSD. No biggy, just tried to fix as many tiny issues as possible before I hit deployment.
Very respectfully.
That is a known, and stated, issue with cm 10.1
Let me first apologize for all of the information, but I wanted to give you guys as much to go on as possible.
TLDWR - Can't flash roms, can't decrypt phone, can't wipe data, can't mount internal storage, can't use ODIN....where next?
Here is what I got:
SPH-L710
Android vers - 4.2.2
Cyanogenmod vers - 10.1.0-d2spr
Was getting flaky reception when I was on 10.0.0 nightly, decided to update to 10.1.2. Downloaded the the required files through Rom Manager, rebooted into CWM Recovery version 6.0.3.1 (non-touch) and did the install (dirty)....booted up and the ROM itself worked, but all my apps were getting "stopped unexpectedly". I figured, ok, did a dirty update so stuff isn't working; I'll redo it and this time wipe everything (after backup of course). When I went to do this, I noticed that it did not mount my sdcard (internal storage, not external sd card). I thought was odd, tried manually mounting, didn't work, tried rebooting recovery and that didn't work. Thought maybe it was a fluke, tried wiping and reflashing 4.2.2 (CM 10.1.2).....it went very quickly. Rebooted, and all of my stuff is gone, which is good, but now it won't let me restore apps.
At this point, I decided I'd had enough of trying to upgrade, so I decided to downgrade back to my old CM 10.0.0....long story short, the flash went quickly, booted up, things worked, but still had the same problem with the apps. I could see the data on the internal storage when the phone was booted, but it never saw it in recovery mode. After doing some reading, I saw where the filesystem changed when going to 4.2.2 so that you can use the new profiles feature. This seems to be what caused CWM Recovery to not see my internal storage anymore.
I thought well, maybe it's because I am back on 10.0.0, so I tried downloading and flashing 10.1.0. It did the same quick flash and showed after boot that I was running on 10.1.0, but I still couldn't mount internal storage (sdcard) in Recovery. I said screw it, reinstalled my apps and decided to truck on with how it was. Short version here - installed mobileiron and touchdown, ran through the encryption in mobileiron, etc etc...mobileiron didn't recognize touchdown and I could not get LEAP for wifi to work.
Decided I would try to decrypt and completely wipe phone. Removed Mobileiron as administrator, tried to decrypt - could not. Tried tweaking security settings, reboots, adb mount and format - all to no avail. Tried wiping in recovery....this failed because it cannot read my storage (because it can't mount it and it is now encrypted)!
With the phone booted up and running adb shell, I can get to the main file system, but my sdcard, data, data/media directories all look empty. I can't mount sdcard through ADB either.
When all of this failed, I looked to ODIN to fix my woes...no luck here either. Downloaded the stock Sprint ROM (4.1.1 L710VPBLJ7 L710SPRBLJ7 ) and tried flashing it but I get hung up on the "Setup Connection"...in ODIN. I have tried multiple drivers, usb ports, battery pulls, etc...I even tried from another PC.
I know this is a lot of information and I apologize again. If you read through all that, thanks for being thorough...if not, I will answer your questions, but hopefully won't have to repeat a bunch of info again.
My end all questions are - where do I go from here? What other options do I have? Is there any repair place I might be able to take this to that they might be able to decrypt/flash the phone to stock for me?
Thanks in advance,

I got the link to the stock stuff through ODIN from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2189539
Missed your other question the first time I read your post....Yes, I uninstalled the drivers, rebooted, reinstalled the drivers. Tried connecting on another PC as well.
Ok, little bit of an update.
I went through Recovery and was messing around trying to mount and wipe...I couldn't mount data or sdcard, so I figured I couldn't just format them either. WRONG! I was able to format /data and /data/media, which then let me mount /data. After doing this, I rebooted recovery and I could mount sdcard...so I did and formatted it.
Now, I had my old version of CM 10.0.0 on my external sd card, so I installed that and booted up...WOOT - back to blank CM 10.0.0!
Now I've got all my data and apps saved to a folder on my PC, if I can just figure out a way to put them back on the phones storage and restore from my backup...

It's sounds as if you should start a totally clean install, then backup your downloaded apps with Titanium Backup after you get ROM setup again.

Another update:
I couldn't get my backup to restore correctly....I kept getting an error restoring /data. Luckily I had an older backup from several months further and was able to restore that. After doing so, I had to remove my google accounts, readd them, and reinstall my mobile iron client for work and I am now good to go!
Man, that was a nightmare.....thought I had soft-bricked my phone.
How do I mark this thread as solved now?

Unfortunately I do have the same issue. The problem is I have not backed this up previously. Any suggestions?
Using TWRP 2.6.3.0, I'm unable to wipe data. Every time I try, I get
"wiping data without wiping /data/media
E: error opening '/data/lost+found'
done."
I excluded the nonessential bits, if anyone wants a full log (something something partition details), I can make one.
I using ES File Explorer with root explorer on, I checked out /data and found two lost+found folders, which I think is causing my issue. I've tried deleting just one, but a second one is automatically generated. If I delete them both, then they're automatically recreated as well. If I delete them both and then remake one immediately after, another one will be remade.
I also checked the rest of the /data folder, and I did not find any lost+found files, so I'm pretty sure it's just the folders messing things up
I checked this thread, but I didn't find anything useful

I ended up here after I accidentally wiped my internal storage with TWRP. I went from a 4.3 AOSP rom to 4.1.2 stock (HD RLS16). I wiped the 4.3 rom, but I think I accidentally wiped internal storage then as well, or maybe something was messed up with TWRP because the storage folder for 4.3 isn't in data/media (or at least not for the rom I was using). After that I used hyperdrive, which was super buggy with Gapps and didn't work at all. After adding an account, everything kept force closing, and things were extremely slow and took minutes to open, even after removing the account and wiping cache+dalvik.
I thought it had to do with the rom, so I went and wiped stuff, then went to CM 10.1.3 stable, but that didn't boot at all, so I tried wiping again and going to liquidsmooth 2.9, which is where my problems started again. I attempted to wipe again and go back to cm10.1.3. The wipe failed, but cm10.1.3 worked.
any ideas on how I can fix this? I was unable to find help on google.

This has happened to me twice and the only solution i have found was to wipe internal storage. unfortunately i wasnt able to backup my internal storage before wiping so eveything i had on my phone was erased. Everything in your external is safe you dont have to worry but if you had important files or anything that you wouldnt erase on your internal storage then that is very unfortunate.
As for me, i now backup everything maybe like once a month or so, just in case something like this happens again.
Its happened to me also and I could not resolve it without the wipe, that was the only viable solution that worked for me.

Although if you're using twrp I just found out you can still save some of your precious files.
How? Simple
You can go into recovery and into the file manager. I think it's in settings or advanced I'm not sure. But I know that is built into twrp. So then just go into your internal storage and select the files and move them to the external storage.
If it's your first time using the file manager then you'll have to get used to it because it's not 100% noob friendly
And remember the bigger the file the longer it'll take to move so just be patient.

Can i get some help please. I cant format data via TWRP, it says "E: unable to wipe data, unknow fle system, auto, unable to format to remove encryption". I did not put any encryption. What to do?
Have you tried using different versions of TWRP to wipe?
I rooted my phone and installed the stock detoxed Rom (I'll find the link to the Rom later), but ever since my phone shows I have very little internal memory and isn't using my internal card for my apps so I can only have about 5 to 10 apps installed at a time depending on the size of the apps.
I tried the lucky patcher and it didnt fix it.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. I tried a different rom and had the same problem
The phone is showing I only have 760mb of application space
What JB version rom are you running? and what recovery version?, might be the corruption bug with wrong recovery.
Another thing to check is with a root enabled browser, check the /LOST.DIR in /storage/sdcard0/ and /storage/sdcard1/
if there is files in the LOST.DIR folder delete them, it will return the lost space, but if there is lots of files in the LOST.DIR is most likely a sign of corruption.
I had an issue similar to this a week or two ago with stock cm10.2 nightly. Full wipe of system and data fixed it for me.
hmm well this week has been a nighmare lol.
I tried installing a different ROM and it didnt help the space issue, and it would freeze then reboot every time i went into the gallery. So then i cleaned everything again and reinstalled my old ROM because I was at work i didnt have much options at the time.
Then i was having random reboots, and then endless boot loop, and all kinds of random problems, not being able to get any service... ect.
So now im home im trying to reload stock with Kies and i got an error. So im about to put it in download mode and try to connect to kies again and see what happens, worst case looks like ill be using odin.
Im thinking its a problem with TWRP.... idk whats going on.
Heres one ROM i tried and i couldnt connect to my service provider.

This is the ROM that would freeze and reboot when i went to the gallery

just reset everything using odin and its having the same problems... Completely stock now, not rooted at all.
Low space, (this is completely stock i have zero apps isntalled besides factory)
If i go to application manager it says 2.00 GB used 0.00 free space.
If i go to Storage it says total space 1.97gb, applications 153mb. available space 1.88mb
Idk i think i may have caught a virus...
Im going to move all my pictures and music off of it and format everything i can.
If you are still using an older recovery, I could bet that you have the corruption bug, when using any JB 4.3 based rom, such as the one you linked (United Basics) you must have a newer recovery or the chance of corruption is just a matter of time.
See this link for more info straight from TC: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2412652
I'd suggest either downloading their recovery if you like CWM or get TWRP v2.6.1.0 recovery and flash the *.tar while in download mode with Odin, after you have a 4.3 compatible recovery then do a complete wipe (Advanced), including System and internal SD card (first copy pics/movies/music etc to computer), then copy back the rom you want to use and flash it along with the proper gapps, the proper gapps version/date will be based upon which rom you flash, check here if not sure: http://wiki.rootzwiki.com/Google_Apps
I'm also having this problem with storage space.
I'm on CM10.2, and have the 4.3 compatible TWRP installed. Prior to installing Cm 10.2 (a few weeks ago), I fully wiped /data /system /cache /dalvik, and wiped internal storage. I'm not able to update any apps, as I'm using 700MB for apps, but less than 200MB available out of the 1300MB that should be free.
I've done everything I should have, by fully wiping on a 4.3 compatible TWRP. Going to check for Lost.dir files now.

Woo! 1.3GB free space recovered! My /data/lost+found was most of it. Hopefully it was a flashing glitch and not a sign of bad flash storage.

I had to do the same thing when I upgraded my 2.3 stock rom to CM10.1.3. Either use ADB shell or a root enabled explorer to remove the contents within the lost+found folder:
Code:
sudo rm -f *
(WARNING! Make **SURE** you are WITHIN the lost+found folder BEFORE issuing this command).

When I try flashing the setuplvm, it fails with error message "unable to mount /data." I am using TWRP 2.8.0.1 and have tried wiping the data. Is there anything I can do to fix this issue?

Did you flash setuplvm from the external SD per the instructions given elsewhere?
I plan on updating setuplvm sometime soon, but the issue you describe sounds like what happens if the ZIP resides on internal storage.

I have the same problem. I had the ZIP on external SD with omni nightly and gapps.
Same error and no LVM.
Try the twrp from omni thread. Flash setuplvm and than update to twrp 2.8.0.1.

Also, the other question is: Did you reboot recovery after flashing setuplvm???

Yup.
I flashed TWRP 2.8.0.1, tried to install setuplvm and got "unable to mount /data." Rebooted and flashed latest Omni and realized it didnt work.

Yes, I am flashing from the external SD card. Here is what I see when I try it.

Unmounting sdcard partitions
Creating LVM physical volumes
Adding LVM physical volumes to volume group
Creating userdata logical volume
Rescanning and activationg LVM volumes
Formatting LVM volume
E: Error executing updater binary in zip '/external_sd/setuplvm_find7_FULL_WIPE_09012014.zip'
Error flashing zip '/external_sd/setuplvm_find7_FULL_WIPE_09012014.zip'
Updating partition details...
E: Unable to mount '/data'
I will also add that if I go to "Mount" in TWRP I am unable to select "data." The phone boots up fine and seems to be working properly otherwise.
Hi,
This happened to my X9076 too about a week back and that was due to my mistake of installing the rom right away without rebooting the recovery first.
If you also missed that very crucial part, I'm pretty sure all you have to do is clear the data, run the reversal LVM zip, boot to recovery again, run the partition mapping, then boot recovery one more time and after that just install the rom + gapps as usual.
I however accidentally booted up the system directly after the failed install which got me the Android is encrypting splash screen for 1 minute or 2 then telling me it failed and booted. After that TWRP couldn't access the /DATA at all.
I eventually got around it by flashing stock recovery and colorOS. The newer releases didn't work though, I took the oldest ones from OPPOforums and that worked.
After that I could flash back to TWRP, run the partitioning as supposed to and install Omni.
i've been wanting to try out omni with lvm for a while, but is lvm complete?
i also read that there's some issues with twrp, i'm a bit confused, which twrp version do i use?
i'm currently running a rom with an unified partition
i just have to return to split layout then flash the setup lvm in latest twrp recovery?
thanks in advance

There have been some odd issues with the following:
1) setuplvm does not play nice with newer TWRP. I have some guesses why... In a few places in the Omni thread I gave manual instructions for doing the conversion in an ADB shell, those will work
2) For some reason, the app "TWRP Manager" flashes a bogus version of TWRP that has issues
Other than those two issues, LVM is complete, I've been running it for two months now. I just need to figure out why TWRP 2.8.0.1 (especially when flashed via TWRP Manager) behaves oddly.

I downloaded TWRP from http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/find7 and flashed using fastboot. Still had issues.

That should work fine on a device that is already in the LVM configuration. It does have issues with setuplvm currently though.
Someone who had issues with setuplvm and TWRP 2.8.0.1 finally posted a recovery.log - For some reason, TWRP 2.8.0.1 is not unmounting the sdcard partition, which causes issues when setuplvm tries to convert that partition into an LVM PV.
From now on, anyone with issues with setuplvm (or other issues within recovery) needs to post /tmp/recovery.log - This can be obtained via ADB with:
Code:
adb pull /tmp/recovery.log
when you are in TWRP after you've tried (and failed) to do whatever you're trying to do
Why? This provides MUCH more information about what went wrong than just the basic screen results/console output such as what alpha_5 posted a few posts back.
I'm not sure how this lvm implementation works ...
If I wipe /data in a twrp lvm compliant recovery, what will happen? It will wipe only /data stuff in lvm pool or the whole "partition" (including internal sdcard)?
Enjoy!
EDIT : I want to make a "factory reset" but without erasing my personnal datas (photos etc.).

I tried and it's written in TWRP recovery : factory reset doesn't wipe personal data (in /data/media).
AWESOME JOB !

Correct. It's the same way all Nexus devices since the GNex (and most other devices) are - a factory reset does an rm -r of everything outside of /data/media instead of formatting the whole partition.
Of course, it's a good idea to periodically back things up in case the filesystem gets hosed to the point of needing a format. (Extremely rare on ext4 these days, common for f2fs in my experience)

Yes, always following the 3 main rules when playing with my devices :
1- Make a backup
2- Make a backup
3- Make a backup
And as I do that oftenly my backups are never outdated.
Enjoy!
Setting up LVM on oppo find 7 from a custom rom?
Hello,
I am tired of my app space always out (I can't update apps now and have limited my apps to about 1/2 of what I normally would have).
From quite a ways back, I had installed Gummy, I think M4, right around when they stopped supporting the rom.
My question is how would I set up LVM from this point in time? I'm unsure how to revert back to any colorOS system (and I would prefer never to go back that way anyway, however I do see cos1.2 in a restore kernal section). I have TWRP 2.7.1.0 currently in use.
update: I see that twrp from the OS, can download the latest TWRP so I am currently DL and will try to install 2.8.7.1. If this successfully gets installed, can I flash the LVM program directly, then a 5.x or later D.U., Nameless, or OMNI rom afterwards?
Your help would be greatly appreciated as I have put this off for way too long however understand it's an amazing phone w/lots of hardware capability.
Update: downloading 2.8.7.1 from the app's interface didn't work well. I had to get back into flashify and install from local file version 2.8.5.0. When I get into bootup>TWRP, i have a split screen where the left side is scrolling slowly downwards. All functionality is normal just screen split flipping is annoying.
Hi.
Anyone give me working download link for "set up LVM" and "remove LVM" flashable zip please.
I can't download them from oppo forum.
Hi Entropy512, All,
I have installed succesfully LVM with the last OmniRoma Available but everytime I try to download something or take a picture with the camera, It says "For use camera, insert and SD Card". I checked the threat and I do not find any clue of how to solve this. Probably I miss something in the configuration process.
Any help?
Thanks in advance
