simple and stupid question - Kindle Fire Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I just installed stock jellybean 4.3 from hashcode for two reasons 1. To compare it to my 2013 nexus 7 2. Because a person suggested it to me in my "best ROM post" and I want to know if I have adb after using kindle fire utility a few times or if I have to get android SDK and all of that stuff

So appearantly its just the Jellybean framework-res. I tried GR9 Modaco and gedeROM, and they both worked. I tried Jandycane and CM10 with SGT7 enhancements, but they both didn't work. How am I supposed to decompile so that I can edit XML's? The method I'm using now takes forever.

And this belongs in a Q&A, how?
This actually sounds like a good idea. Since we installed Android on the TouchPad, maybe we can do the oppsite on the fire.
(Yeah, yeah, i know i spelled it wrong)

Google play?

OK everyone I need help. My brother just got a kindle fire and wants Google play. Is there anyway to install it without rooting his kindle? I know nothing about it.

False. your dad didnt do this.
I tried to install it without rooting and I made it but you will have to enter the files and install the apk, when it was finished you had to click Open because the stock Kindle launcher wont show the app. The solucion was rooting it and install Cyanogen.

[Q] Paranoid Android for KF newer than 2.54?

Is there a Paranoid Android ROM & GApps for the Kindle Fire (NON HD) that is newer that 2.54?
I found this list of ROMs for the KF
Here is the newest page I can find for PA for KF.
If you don't find it in the Index, it wont be there.

Never seen a PA ROM for kindle except the PAC Man ROM, you can try that one, it has the latest things from PA + CM, and AOKP.
