The Fail_PU is sign of a radio brick. A radio brick is difficult to overcome. Few phones get rescued from this state.
First, try the 2.3 RUU a couple of times:
http://www.htcdev.com/process/legal_download/152
If it doesn't work, try putting the phone in the freezer for 10 minutes with the battery taken out, and then imediatelly try the RUU.
If those don't work, then you will have to try to flash a lot of wwe RUUs from here: http://www.shipped-roms.com/?category=android&model=Bravo
Good luck!
thanks for reply brother
i did flashing done but still same condition i try 3 different firmware but there is no positive result
brother after successfully installed GB 2.3 now phone show htc logo and restart whats next
Thanks In advance

Ok so here goes, hoping you guys can help... I've searched and found a few threads related to a similar issue, tried everything suggested, and still nadda....
Being the forgetful fool I am, I flashed the most up to date official RUU on my rooted Desire with Oxygen HBOOT without flashing the downgader HBOOT first... The idea was to do a simple unroot back to stock...
Needless to say things didn't go well. I now have a silver HTC logo with the 4 warning triangles in each corner
Read that flashing the downgrader then the RUU again would work so...
Flashed the downgrader HBOOT using fastboot... success!
Ran the RUU again... ERROR! 140 wrong bootloader version.
Tried flashing and running various recoveries, boots, etc. using fastboot... all give ERROR remote 12 signature verify fail
Cannot get to vol down+power
Cannot get to back+power
When I have the silver HTC and unplug USB I get the following:
BRAVO PVT1 SHIP S-ON
HBOOT-0.80.0000
MICROP-031d
TOUCH PANEL-SYNT0101
RADIO-4.06.00.02_2
Mar 29 2010,21:34:33
RUU (in orange box)
Any ideas if there's anything I can do to get the phone booting again??
Thanks a lot for any help you can give!!

You are supposed to flash stock hboot, then flash hboot downgrader before RUU. This is because hboot downgrader only downgrades the hboot to allow RUU to s-on the phone. Technically now you are still on oxygen hboot. Are you able to fastboot flash hboot?
Sent from my HTC Original Desire using Tapatalk
Hmm ok so I'm even more stupid than I originally thought...
Don't think I can flash HBOOTs in fastboot
Whenever I try 'fastboot flash hboot ...' with the stock alpharev hboot I get the 'remote 12 signature verify fail' error...
Thanks for the quick reply
Well screw me sideways... I fixed it...
For anyone who lands in the same (stupid) position as my idiot self, I just flashed the official 2.3 Gingerbread update RUU...
Flashed first time, booted first time, now boots every time...
No idea how or why... but yay
Hello..
Today I decided to unroot my phone.
So just like the last time when I unrotted my phone i used this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1275632
But now my Hboot isn't Alpharev Stock as it should be.
It's
Code:
BRAVO PV3 SHIP S-ON
HBOOT-0.93.0001
MICROP-051d
TOUCH PANEL-SYNT0101
RADIO-5.11.05.27
Aug 10 2010, 17:52:10
When i try to install the RUU, it says that i need to find the correct RUU and I used the one in the guide!
When i boot my phone it boots up Sandvold ICS ROM, but i just want the original 2.3.3 Update installed. :-(
Please help!

You are no longer S-OFF, whatever you did changed your bootloader back to stock.
If you want to use a 2.2 RUU that isn't for you carrier you need a goldcard.
You do not need one for the 2.3 RUU. Just boot into fastboot and run RUU.exe

Man its not even a page long. Another proof that some people here do not read threads at all. No wonder everyday is just deja vu of questions. But we keep on answering them anyway.

Hi Friends,
My friend gave me his desire (orange) but rooted. I want to unroot it.

The issue is:
Gets into infinite boot loop on Htc Screen after flashing RUU .(used instructions from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1275632)
After this if I try to place the zip PB99IMG.zip in the root of my sd card, it not even recognizes it :crying:. Am not sure how to continue from this point.
Can anybody out here help me.
I've used the following RUU - RUU_Bravo_Vodafone_UK_1.19.161.5_Radio_32.36.00.28U_4.06.00.02_2_release_126338_signed

Try flashing the recovery again through fastboot.
If that doesn't work, then put your phone in the freezer for 10 minutes with the battery taken out, then try to boot in recovery.
