How many people use google wallet - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 4

How many people use google wallet? Just like to know.

Not me, probably never will
Sent from Flip's Galaxy S4

I do, but not that often. Still important for me to have it
Sent from my GT-I9505G using XDA Premium 4 mobile app

On occasion. But the carriers make things difficult to even use it.

I use it whenever I can. ****ing amazing

whenever possible.

I use it at every seven eleven and McDonald's! And pretty much everywhere else I can ☺☺☺

All the time, very convenient and most large stores around me support it.

Tried once.

I know right!!! Is funny when iphone owners just starting like :what: "how"? Lol ...*me walking out like a boss*
android kicking the fruit' ass...if you know what I mean

I have been using it lately. Kind of convenient actually. Works great.

I try to use it whenever possible. 7 Eleven, McDonalds, Petco, Jack in the Box... anywhere I see a reader.

Hmm,
seems like a lot of ppl here like it. Maybe i should try it out
To be honest i newer used it since now.

Manuel

Do places that except it have signs? I've never seen anything but also never looked, or installed it.

I use it all the time. Kroger around here just got them. So it's very helpful.

Are those the touch-and-go readers? Does the Google Wallet application just emulate a card for you? Does it matter if it has the wallet logo?

Never use it

Didn't have the Google wallet logo. I assume it was just touch and go. All I had to do was press credit on the self scan before it would work.

Real sweet idea for an app (nfc)

Anyone remember tamigotchi's from back in the day? And then ones that could link together to battle?
I thought it would be pretty cool to make an app similar to that and use NFC as a means to battle them.
Anyone else think thats a cool idea?
I was looking for a tomigatchi but this sounds better. Let's do it!
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
Battling would be like Digimon, lol. I had both Tamagotchi and Digimon as a kid.

Here's a pic. Hahaha, boy does this bring back memories.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
Love the idea
but I'm not sure NFC works like that?
I doubt you'd want to have your phones back to back all the time. That wouldn't be very fun. Best would be to use NFC to initiate a Bluetooth pair or WiFi connection.
Even if you just created an online game with user names to search for and fight I think some people would bite.

I know there was a Tamagotchi app created a long time ago on XDA. I'd like to see what happened with that, but if you start something up like this then I'll definitely hop on this.

someone did a similar idea in a game. but its about the phones having sex (via NFC).
I'm not kidding.

ISIS coming soon..

We also need ISIS SIM cards.
I'm in Salt Lake and isis has a list of available retail stores:
http://www.paywithisis.com/where-to-use.xhtml
I'm rooted of course with 4.1.2. This might be worth going back to stock to see if it's any good.
Hopefully I'll have something to update on the 22nd!
my question is, when are the isis ready sims available for the users outside of houston and SLC? do we have to wait until the end of the year to get them?
Hardly seems worth it. I'll wait till this technology gets out of the gimmick stage till I'm in.
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda premium
Maybe I read one of the articles wrong; but my understanding was if you didn't have a device with NFC, then you would need the new sim card to take advantage of ISIS. I need to see if I can find that article again, but that being said, I would never go back to stock to use ISIS.
What I really want is Google Wallet, and not have my carrier dictate to me which mobile wallet I can use.

Glonass gps support?

Basically I'm looking to see if this phone has the ability to see the extra Russian satellites. Like this picture, the square ones are glonass. Gps is so great getting locks with the extra sats. Person already has issues with her current phone (gs2) so that's my main reason for checking. If not I guess gs3 it is =(

Nearly positive it does since it uses the S4 Pro, everything after the S4 should have it built in.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kmc.onechannel.tvshows
That application found in the app store is 100x better.
It has every episode of everything with new episodes updated as soon as an hour before it even airs (for me being on the west coast, things come on earlier on the east coast), situated nicely into an easy to use interface.
There are a few bugs, but they are bearable, and worth the price of $0.

Sweet. I don't use Netflix from my phone, but this looks great. Love that I can use it on my Logitech Revue. I use Icefilms a lot, but that doesn't work very well with Android. This works pretty good over wifi if you grab a link that is working.
