Will it work if I flash the kernel alone? I think there are also some files that were changed in the ROM.

yes if you flash the .96 kernel it should fix the camera lag, you will need .200 or above for this to work and you will also need a unlocked bootloader
the rom had some changes, e.g. optimizations and nice bug fixed (that anoying Status bar lag for one)

It seems like there are alot of changes. I'll just wait for the new release of Trinity ROM . I wish Sony would use the smart updates like the new playstore uses.

I don't know if we can flash directly over .55, but I have .55 kernel and baseband working perfectly for now (12h) with your ROM.
I flashed clean .50, rooted and install CWM, then flashed b-rom. After that I just flashed kernel and baseband from .55 via Flashtool.
Never the less, I think it's better to have clean stock before flashing custom ROM, and rooted .55 is hardly a clean stock.

I cleaned data, but it didn't help. Had the same problem with other mod, so it must me tab'n'grid's fault.
It's happening only in messaging app, after opening popup say "Unfortunately, Xperia Home has stopped". I just dismiss popup and it continues to run normaly.
Suggestion:
- This calculator (dark one) is fine replacement for stock one, maybe you wish to include it in your ROM?
- Wake up with volume key - It's a must have for me, because I'm left handed and It's difficult to press power if using one hand. But right handed guys use it, too.

[ROM][Xperia S] 6.2.B.1.96 World Generic (Zipaligned, Rooted, Deodexed + Busybox)

Well, as said in the title, here you have it (It does not contain any Kernel and it doesn't wipe data):
Original FTF: http://dfiles.eu/files/irynq72v1
ROM: http://dfiles.eu/files/8w2nt5wmw or http://d-h.st/dUJ
- Flash Doomlords .96 stock kernel
- Flash the ROM with CMW
- (Wipe data if coming from AOSP based ROM)
(use google to find how to download fast and free from depositfiles)
Enviado desde mi LT26i usando Tapatalk 4
Please, don't use deposit next time.
Powered by GSR with Android 4.1.2 on the board.
Thank you very much mate! The Ftf is untouched and unrooted, right?
finally we have bug free 4.1.2 JB
So where can I find a changelog... If Sony even does such things...?

This worked excellent with 211 firmware
http://www.xperiaguide.com/2013/07/...a-s-sl-6-2-b-0-211-jelly-bean-odex-stock-rom/
Zip is cca 250Mb and it does all dirty job for you and convert all odex files to deodex files.
So, download and try...
I'm not sure but it could work.
But then again this zip could be just a zip with a 211 deodex files and script which will just replace odex to deodex and that won't be good...
There's two option : to try
or to wait someone to deodex ROM.
I'll check tomorrow to see if this is O.K.

Dude please change your update-script, it says its for .211 , creeps people out...

Let me make a short report of the fw.
Volume Bug = fixed
Camera purple tint = fixed
Front faceing camera 4:3 and 16:9 ration shwitch = fixed
Full HD filming = seems fixed, its better than before
2G network = fixed
Wifi problem = fixed
launcer redraws = seems fixed, need to test it further
walkman stops when surfing the net = fixed
equalizer randomly stops= fixed
Keybord not showing and closing randomly = seems fixed, need to test it further
Battery drain = seems fixed, need to test it further
Games play nice on it, in fact i see a small performace improvement
Sound is crisper...
Multitasking seems to work flawlesly, jumping throu apps seems smooth
Framework has some nice addicions in animations, for examble when unlocking the phone the animation si more vivid
Camera has a great improvement. Its faster than .211 and .200, photos have more detail with and without flash compared to previous fws
Contacts and messages loads even faster than previous fws (i have 2000 contacts and 5400 sms and i openned them both while listening to walkman)
Ram management seems to be awsome... realy
No heat problem till now...
Bare in mind i didint do a full wipe of data
These are all the pointers i had to give for now, sadly some of these amazing improovmens are kernel dependent.
I have no recovery, how do i install it?
I have no more fastcharge and OC ... i wait for it... But the way i see it, if the performance goes this way i whont use supercharger anymore...

I'm still trying to found problem.

Someone knows why in the hell honami framework causes Play Store freaky in .96 FW?
I can't download or update apps with 10mb or more. -.-'
Tried a lot to find the problem inside framework-res.apk, but no results.
If I put back the stock .96 framework, Play Store works normally.
But I want honami look!
So now, I'm trying to modify stock framework to looks like Honami, but found some problems to read accent theme color.

It seems to be that this new firmware isn't fully compatible with the Honami framework that has been used in the .200 firmware. Niaboc ported the whole honami framework, he posted a teaser with some screenshots but I think he made it on .200 based firmware. As I said in previous posts I tried most of the honami ports and the only mod that gave me errors is the Honami Home (which has the framework file) any other mod works just fine

[Xperia M][SS/DS][All BL] SXDXMZ1 ROM | "Because It All Matters"

Hello Friends
i want to share this ROM to you
Features:-
Zipaliged ,
zipalign is an archive alignment tool introduced first time with 1.6 Android SDK (software development kit). It optimizes the way an Android application package (APK) is packaged. Doing so enables the Android operating system to interact with the application more efficiently, and hence has the potential to make the application and overall the whole system much faster. Execution time is minimized for zipaligned applications, resulting is lesser amount of RAM consumption when running the APK
Deodexed ,
Deodexing is basically repackaging of these APKs in a certain way, such that they are reassembled into classes.dex files. By doing that, all pieces of an application package are put together back in one place, thus eliminating the worry of a modified APK conflicting with some separate odexed parts.
In summary, Deodexed ROMs (or APKs) have all their application packages put back together in one place, allowing for easy modification such as theming. Since no pieces of code are coming from any external location, custom ROMs or APKs are always deodexed to ensure integrity.
Z1 Stuffs :
1) Xperia Z1 Home
2) Xperia Z1 Walkman
3) Xperia Z1 Album
4) Xperia Z1 Movies
5) Xperia Z1 Sony Select
6) Xperia Z1 Themes
7) Xperia Z1 Home Widgets
8) Xperia Z1 Status Bar
9) Xperia Z1 Settings
10) Xperia Z1 Boot Animation
11)Xperia Z1 Phonebook
12) Xperia Z1 Conversations
13) Xperia Z1 Fonts
14) Xperia Z1 Look Like Animations
15) BE2 And X-Reality Ported
And Much More
Whats About Coming Soon ?
Some New Features like Increasing Audio , Video Quality
maybe the all new Camera
Increasing 3D Performance
Increasing Audio Sound
Some Z1 mods perfections
And Lot more in next build
ETA : Not Sure !
Instructions:-
You need to be on 4.2 Firmware first
If you are using Xperia M single then first flash 4.1.2 stock firmware (with wiping cache ) and then flash 4.2 firmware without wiping cache and data
ROM Installation Guide :-
For Locked Bootloader :-
Download ADB Push tool and connect your phone via USB Debugging on make sure that you have rooted and installed busybox. Now , Press 1 and enter wait for some mins until that doesn't shows "Installation Completed"
ADB Push will mess with permissions so its not recommended but if you don't care about file permissions and care about bootloader then this method is better for you
For Unlocked Bootloader :-
Download flashable zip and make sure that you have rooted ,installed busybox and CWM .
Now , Go to CWM , Wipe Everything ( Factory Reset , Cache , Dalvik ) And then install the Zip and then reboot ... wait for your device to complete booting
there is problem with flashable zip it says status 6 just now i came to know about it but soon i will make a new flashable that you just need to replace "META-INF" in the ROM and then flash it .. Sorry for this .. but this method is perfect

Mine is Xperia M Single (C1904). I have 4.1.2 firmware, rooted, bootloader unlocked, CWM installed.
Do I still have to flash 4.2 firmware first and then install this ROM? Or can I flash the ROM directly from CWM?

You need to be on 4.2 Firmware first
If you are using Xperia M single then first flash 4.1.2 stock firmware (with wiping cache ) and then flash 4.2 firmware without wiping cache and data
but... where? I cannot find 4.2 version for Xperia M C1904 (not dual)

4.2 firmware isn't available for C1904. You have to install the M dual's firmware. Stay relax, it will not harm your device at all. Go ahead and flash it from here

- tranfer the rom to internal storage
- Boot into recovery
- Format your phone
- Install the rom
- Enjoy
And yeah, preinstalled apps will be lost if you flash the rom, but music and pictures are retained. Still, its safer to keep a backup

I tested these and they are working fine:
Serajr's xperia xposed (KK), an awesome all round module for looks and functionality
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2612179
Screen tweaks by Pezo, cos I really love the CRT screen off animation, and removed carrier label etc.. just check it out!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/mod-screen-tweaks-t2767521
XperiaFMwoHS, to play FM w/o headset..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=50547812
Greenify
will provide screenshots soon...
can be used with stock rooted odexed ROM aswell, but if you get systemui FC then clear Dalvik cache from recovery, and do make a nandroid backup before all this, cos the systemui fc gave me lots of troubles (nothing works when this happens! phone goes in a tizzy of random vibrations and fc msgs every second ! touch response is also limited, beware! you have been warned!

Well I use nova launcher because i love it's customisability, in any case I should be able to help you out, otherwise you should ask on Serajr's post.
Yes I have updated to 4.4.3, and i am still using all the xposed modules mentioned above, along with a few more (see screenshot).
So what exactly is not working? Xperiahome.apk fc? Or module not loading? Or changes in module dont stick?
Just a Thought

I agree to an extent , When I had (s)damsung phones I couldn't stand Touch-jiz(wiz) for its U.I. , It sort of felt like a joke of a Home Launcher , child's play, or gimmicky to me. So I swore by APEX or NOVA. The array of settings and features were what sold me.
When I switched over to Sony, My first one being the xperia ION, I was actually impressed at how smooth and clean the launcher was. The simplicity was nice but the lack of Icon changing and the limited preferences was a tad boring. Then Razal Lovins had posted a modded xperia launcher that I still use till this day on my t2 ultra and previous ZL, and T xperia phones.
In my case Xperia Launcher modded does it for me , I bought a SONY phone id like to keep as close to SONY because really their U.I is the greatest , the modded rizal version has everything NOVA offers except the option to customize the way the home screen behaves when swiping page to page.
Dont get me wrong NOVA is great, to each their own.
Just felt like sharing
Any new suggestions
Apart from below modules
