[Q] Current state of bootloader

So bar the T-Mobile variant of the G3. We don't have an unlocked bootloader on any other models. Now i know we have bump which works but its not what i mean.

And some stuff on the AT&T Forums but no where with updated information and whether or not its still being worked on.

Current state: locked. No, LG won't unlock it. Never.

Is there any way to check bootloader status?

Samsung Galaxy C5

Hi there!
I was just curious to know if any dev is working on galaxy c5(SM-C5000)
because finally it has working twrp and a working rooting method
I tried myself for a Grace Ux port and I almost got all apps working except for the settings and the system ui.
I know this will be very easy for a seasoned developer because we have a proper TW MM base.
Any help would be appreciated!

have u tried as it has a wifi problem when we downgrad the bootloader for rooting purpose

yes after flashing gapps and rooting chinese frimware you have to flash the chinese bootloader again for wifi to work

Well I tried this method and it worked always I don't know why it gives u a boot loop!

I wanna buy it, buy it wasn't released for europe, so I'm affraid that won't work here :/
Is there a china menu or smth or english also?
Could you send some screenshots from Settings App, launcher app, etc?

My brother has this phone, were from Romania. He's using it on Vodafone and there is no problem. There are 2 firmwares for this phone: China and Hong Kong. There is no european or some other firmware. The phone was bought with Chinese firmware but without Google Play services and to install them nothing worked unless flashing through custom recovery which I wanted to avoid. The HK firmware has Play Store in it and it's working without problems. He's satisfied with it. Most probably will work in Poland as well.

Ok, thanks for fast response.
I definately would flash this phone to smth custom, like CM or LineageOS, I hate touchwiz (I have now a3 2016) and my phone has such a potential but can't feel it without breaking out from touchwiz :/

if u useing china version ,it means no! unless u unlock bootloader and use twrp flash gms

do u got this phone? there is just one version!

Downgrading from 10 to 9 via HiSuite and unlocking bootloader not possible?

Got my phone today and I've been looking over tutorials for 3 hours on how to downgrade and unlock but failed.
Is this not possible?
I plan to switch to LineageOS that's why I need to downgrade

Flashed Global ROM over VodaFone stock ROM, Can I relock bootloader? (Redmi Note 8T)

Hey guys, I know people ask this all the time but please help a noobie out.
I bought this phone online back in 2019 and it came with a VodaFone ROM. Today I installed Android 11 Update but I didn't like what they did with 3rd party launchers not being able to use gestures so I unlocked bootloader and flashed the official Global ROM (MIUI 12 Android 10) with XiaomiTool V2, but now I can't use some essential apps and also I'm worried cuz my phone is unlocked and not secure.
I already checked on Xiaomi's oficial Product Authentication and it has a green tick and it says: "Congratulations! You can be assured the phone you have purchased is the official international version." That means I don't have a Chinese Version right?
So my question is can I safely lock bootloader without bricking my device?

there is no such thing
android is well secure system and the only thing you should worry about is miui+google are watching you and are selling your data

it will mostly brick your device
and even if you manage to do it ,you will not be able to unlock again in case you want to change rom or use custom roms ...
