3. Use a program that requires root permissions, where it can be accessed in the file system of your smartphone..
Example: Es File Manager or Root Explorer
4. Now, copy the file in the system folder of: system/media

6. inserting permission then set them on: rw-r--r-- This step is important

hi all
sorry for making post again
today i want share about random boot animation
i mean if you turn on your phone , this script will choose random bootanimation to show .
this is not my work and the original thread is in here
in the original thread just share the script . so i make the flash zip to install using recovery .
download the zip in here
its work for gingerbread / cm9 . but if you want install it to gb you must root your devices and have support init.d files .
how to install ?
1. nandroid backup first !
2. reboot to recovery , wipe cache / dalvik cache , mount system & data , install
in this flashable zip had 4 bootanimation . the original , and 3 simple and cool bootanimation .
if you want to delete , change or add new bootanimation . just go to data/local/bootanimation
NOTE : if you want to add new bootanimation find the bootanimation with resolution 480x800 . Dont choose a big file +15mb because the script will read the bootanimation for a long time & delete the original bootanimation.zip in system/etc/media .
if you like it please give me a thanks and sorry for my bad english
screenshoot
sorry lame , im posting using phone

1st let me tell you what and all required for a custom bootanimation.
You must have a ROOTED device.
A root file manager such as ROOT EXPLORER
Custom bootanimation of your choice
15-20 minutes of time
and importantly PATIENCE
if you have all these then proceed to the next step
Download any of you favorite Bootanimation from here or from any other thread/site
How to add:
You need root.
If you need the stock bootanimation then make a back up of that using RootExplorer
Copy the bootanimation to your SD Card.
Rename to bootanimation.zip -If the zipfile has any other name plz rename it to "bootanimation.zip" , without quotes
With root explorer or any other app that allows you to get to /system/media
Copy the bootanimation .zip into /system/media and replace it with the stock one (remember to mount R/W)
Htc Users copy that to /data/local if you want
And Finally set permissions to rw--r--r--
Should Look something like this

x - -
x - -
All Bootanimations are of 320x480 size

I pieced together 3 different animations to make a single bootanimation. Credits for the original animations go to the original creators.
I figured I'd share this bootanimation with the community. If you like, then enjoy.

WARNING: INSTALLING A BOOTANIMATION IMPROPERLY CAN PREVENT ACCESS TO YOUR PHONE REQUIRING RECOVERY TO FIX. PLEASE FULLY UNDERSTAND HOW TO INSTALL A BOOTANIMATION TO PREVENT ISSUES WITH YOUR PHONE.
Instructions:
1. Download bootanimation from this link: LINK
2. You'll need root access on your phone, as well as a file manager that has root access abilities. I use ES File Explorer and have the "Root Explorer" option turned on.
3. Using your file explorer, navigate to system > media
4. In the media folder resides an existing bootanimation.zip file. Either rename that existing file to something different for use later, or overwrite it by pasting the new bootanimation.zip file.
5. Now you must ensure the permissions are set properly for the bootanimation.zip file. I posted a pic below illustrating how the permissions must be set. This step is extremely important, so ensure its done right. If not set properly, you might lose access to your phone upon booting.
6. Reboot phone, and the new bootanimation will play.
nice to bad it wont work with stock :/.....but you should make more boot animations
Hi! I just want to share the Xperia X bootanimation and audio that I took from the official 8.0 (34.4.A.2.118) firmware and made some adjustment to the bootanimation to work perfectly on Grand Prime
I tested it on G530H (XCU) running (Unofficial) LineageOS 15.1 and theoretically should work on any AOSP/LineageOS based rom (maybe even on TouchWiz)

MAKE A FULL BACKUP FIRST BEFORE FLASHING THIS ZIP !!
THIS ZIP WILL REMOVE THE STOCK BOOTANIMATION AND AUDIO FROM YOUR CURRENT ROM !!
How to install:
Boot into TWRP
Make a complete backup (or you can just backup your /system/ partition)
Flash the zip
Reboot
Download

if the animation speed is too slow, you can change it in the desc.txt file (the default speed from Sony is 20fps)
Code:
540 321 20
p 1 0 intro #ffffff
p 0 0 loop #ffffff
c 1 40 outro #ffffff
How to change the animation speed
Copy the bootanimation.zip to somewhere else (internal storage/sdcard)
Unzip it
Open the desc.txt file with any text editor
Change the value "20" to something else (30/60, whatever you want)
Save your edit
Repack the bootanimation as a zip file with compression method Store
Replace the old one with the new one
Reboot
Thanks again
