I have just emailed them directly.
Lets see the outcome, i was NOT told about this offer.
Weird, I thought it was Vodafone giving the Headphones on pre-order and Phones 4 U were giving the medialink with pre-order.
(I may have got that the wrong way round!)

Vodafone were offering the headphones for free to the first 10,000 customers. I think they've run out now. Maybe ask in store if your still interested.

This was my understanding
along with D.A.P offering the medialink.
Yeah,i got a pair home similar. The audio quality is....amazing.The stock HTC headphones are thrown in the house somewhere..i don't think i will ever use them. Also i've noticed that besides Beats,Philips are making some pretty amazing headphones as well.I got them from a supermarket a while ago,In-ear..and they are amazing as well, and a lot cheaper than Beats.Honestly i'm not surprized. The only thing that makes Beats so expensive is the fact that there are made by Dre (Dre's company...not him personaly),but out on the market there are way better headphones than Beats (Roland,AKG,Technics,Sennheiser, etc). The best headphones i've ever had were Sennheiser and now i got some Technics RP-DH1200 witch are totaly amazing compared with any pair of Beats that are out on the market now.
I have this urbeats from Vodafone in our country and I found out that this headphones are the cheapest ones and not so good.. bad bass, ordinary cable that will damage..
Hey guys. Recently the right side of my stock HOX earphones stopped working. It just randomly stopped working and it's a bit of a pain.
My question is whether I can claim it back on warranty. And if so, can I get a replacement direct by calling HTC Support or do I have to go to a service centre?
To be honest I don't think it's worth the hassle going to a service centre and rather just have it posted to me.
Thanks in advance!

I dont think that the headphones are under warranty, but you can try ... i didnt use them at all ... i buyed a SensationXE for my girlfriend and pic the urBeats and they are great ... maybe you should buy some Beats earphones too. I know they arent cheap, but they worth every penny

I have my urbeats from my XE. HTC probably skived giving them out with one x to keep price down.
This is a great opportunity to get some new headphones and the best value headphones I have found are the Sennheiser PX 100 - II, in the UK they retail for about £30. I use the flat eq setting and use Volume+ app which gives far better listening levels, through headphones and the speaker.
Great earphones
Hi
I picked up a pair of beyerdynamic MMX 101 Ie today and so far there are great.
I had the soundmagic mp21 and I thought there were good till the jack plug decided to break, so I decided to get a new pair but spend a little more money and after checking loads of reviews I found the Beyerdynamic mxx101 ie and Wow what a treat these one are....
Cheap ass lol just invest abit more $$$ and buy better headphones

OP I know this not what you asked but I'd just recommend buying a good pair of aftermarket headphones, as most headphones that ship with a phone are crap. If you really want to appreciate music a good aftermarket set will be a good idea. Check out the Monster Turbines or the Klipsch Image S4s for your entry into this territory.
I received a pair of Beats by Dr. Dre headphones for my birthday (Solo HD) and have paired them with my S3. Wth the Controltalk cable I have most functionality except for volume up/volume down. Was wondering if this was a software issue and has anyone found a suitable wor arou d for them.
I don't think they're compatible, check the market and you might find an app that'll help you out.
A check of the Play store using the search terms Monster Controltalk yields nothing. I am hoping that someone has developed an app outside of the store.
I just sold my ibeats with control talk.
I bought a set of Jays a-Jays One+ but dont really like them... I might just have to get a set of Monster UrBeats

Because the UrBeats are the ones you should have gotten. Those Beats are made for iphones, not really androids. No need to be a ****

Because, without being a **** and saying "Use the search" I offered two different options for you. Both headsets work with the SGS3, and both are made for android.
On another note, I decided on the Klipsch S4A instead of buying UrBeats off ebay....
(*hint* also headphones built for Android....)

If you'd use the search function, you'd know there's already a solution. Theres a cable that you buy. You hook it to your phone from one end n the other end is connected to your headphones n control talk works. Now use the search function to find it *hint its already in a topic about this subject*
Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 2
hmmm, I actually did use the search function and search term was controltalk and I couldn't find this cable. Can you please link me either the post of what cable I need to get? Have my Beats Studio and S3 for about a month, and all I can do is play pause and skip on music. Can't even call with it let along control volume.

I recently bought HTC one and it is a really awesome phone but the issue was that I did not got the red tip earphones with it .rather I got the ear phones which I had with my previous phone HTC desire c. I asked from the site I bought and they told me that in my region HTC does not provide those red tip ear phones. I am in Pakistan and the phone has UAE warranty . I wanted to ask that is it true and has any one found the same same issue or anyone who can help.

Verizon, I got the red-tipped yesterday.
The red tip buds are very much crap, some report them as better than this, however, if comparing to the ipod or apple series, yes they are ****ing awesome, compared to Shure's or other dedicated ims they suck like a cheap whore!

umm, yeah, compared to expensive headphones they likely aren't better. But saying they are crap is hyperbole. I've used numerous headphones and these rank up there close to $50 buds easily.
T-Mobile is the only carrier that doesn't include ear buds.
As to the quality of the ones provided, they're pretty decent for included headphones. Nothing like my more expensive sets, but pretty good for free.

canada, and got red tips lol
I LOVE the headphones I got with my HTC One, unfortunately I lost them somewhere so now need to get another pair.
My partner and her brother were so impressed with them (when I still had them) that they both ordered a pair to use with their HTC One X's
Where's the best place to buy the stock earbuds that came with the HTC One M7? I lost mine and I absolutely have to get my hands on another pair, I loved them. I've seen some on amazon and eBay but I've read that they are fake and not nearly as good as the stock ones.
Help would be appreciated!
I wish I knew too :/
I got the Ebay ones they sound fine to me. But do yourself a favor and get the Xiaomi Piston 2s off Amazon for 25 they rock. Look up their review on Headfi if you doubt.
They're on Amazon, I've bought them twice already. Love those earphones. Got them for like $8 or less too.

Yes they are the same
I still have mine completely unused and still in original packaging (if there was packaging). I literally have not ever touched or taken them out of the phone box. Interested in buying?
I just bought the ones at that link, otherwise I'd buy yours. If I need more I'll buy yours? Haha
Are these just as good as stock earphones?

I used to buy HTC One headphones of eBay (okay, I think they were counterfeit, but I can't prove it).
Now I'm much happier with cordless Bluetooth earbuds. They last about 6 hours on a charge.

If they have those plastic circles that you can take out with your finger then it's fake and also the sound quality is bad.
