Ongoing Wifi Notification Removal on s3 att 4.1.2 - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

I was wondering if anyone knew how to remove the ongoing wifi notification in the pull down menu for a stock rooted s3 on 4.1.2. Although it isn't a big deal, if it can be removed relatively painlessly, I'd love to hear how.

Any mod to get toggle settings in status drop down??

This was a cool feature in miui recently. Anyone know of a mod or app to get it into your drop down status?

I talked to some dev's they said they're gonna work on it
I couldn't figure out how to get it into the notification drop down.
Care to give a step by step?

widgetsoid -> make widget -> advanced -> notifications [on]
MoreQuicklyPanel is specifically for ICS
my only issue with it is the lack of brightness toggle but I leave it on auto 90%+ of the time anyway

Got it. Thanks. Had to play around with it a bit more. Nice app for sure.

I use notification toggle.
Widgetsoid is free and very customisable. I'm surprised that it works in ICS despite the fact that it was last updated a few months ago

Imm not very techy like this (yet). Especially because my laptop has a broke scree. So I cantt learn to change stuff lime this. But you need to rework parts of the SysyemUI.apk. talk to Nitroglycerine. He did it for the Droid X2.
And to anyone saying stuff aboit Widgetzoid and other related apps, it does not gige you toggle switches in the dropdown/pulldown.it gives you shortfuts to the setting. We dontt want that. We want the actual toggle switches.
Nome of those appd work for me, and I dontt like them. Itss not what I am looking for.
And, BTW, bump on wanting this too. I am glad to hear a dev is cooking something up. Keep us ppsted on the dev, ericerk.

Editing the settings available in the notification drawer/status bar.

Hello all,
I was wondering if there's a way to add or remove what available settings are shown when you drop down on the status bar, and it shows wifi, bluetooth, gps, etc.
I see that there's an extended menu showing driving mode, all share cast, multiwindow, etc. after upgrading to firmware L900VPLJC.
Long and short of it, does anyone know how to remove or insert other settings?
Many thanks.

You can't unless you flash a custom rom or a mod that offers different or extended toggles.

Damn, that sucks. Well hopefully maybe there's gotta be something else that comes along the way, I might be able to fix this without installing a ROM

Look for the 15 toggle zip, thats all that it changes. I would also look for the all app multi task zip. I have these mods on a stock rooted rom am quite pleased.

What happened to the mobile data quick toggle?

After getting Jelly Bean, I noticed that the mobile data quick toggle was not in the notification center anymore. Is there any way to put this back on stock? I used that a ton.

Are you stock rooted? theres a link that themes the notification bar to blue and adds a mobile data toggle as well check it out if you're rooted

check screenies
It's not even present in the 4.4.2 OTA update. I've been trying to find a mod or theme that is compatible with 4.4.2 so I can have a data toggle finally, but it only seems to work for the T-Mobile S4 and S5.
Google and your carrier want you to always stay connected so they just stopped making it so easy to turn off.

App shortcuts delete themselves

its only been the ones in the app tray at the bottom of the screen that get deleted. If anyone has a fix or suggestions thats would be great. Or even if someone has the same problem we could compare and norrow down the problem. Im on galaxy s3, jelly bean, rooted.

[Q] Lost browser one-touch zoom with MA7 OTA

One of my favorite features of the stock browser was the one-touch zoom via scrolling motion at edge of screen. I was rooted stock LJC and unrooted to take the MA7 OTA update. After the update, the zoom feature is missing from the browser. Did Samsung disable it, am I missing a setting to turn it on, or did my unroot method disable it? Any way to get it back?
I unrooted and returned to stock using this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2086769
Then took the MA7 OTA update.
Bump
Omg you're right yay it's gone!
I think Samsung disabled it

This there anyway to get it back

I realize a lot of people didn't like it, but the feature was great for one-handed browsing. If there's no way to get it back, are there any similar alternatives?
Good riddance!
