Hey guys
I tried updating my U9200 from firmware B105 - B315 but it did not allow me to do so.
I then followed olav's guide and flashed MIUI onto my device but i have no service now.
Also, i cant get the device into recovery using the Volume UP & Volume Down and power button so try and install the huawei stock firmware again.
Any suggestions?
Ok, so i had no option but to install CyanogenMod 10.1
Would still like to go to Huawei firmware. Volume up & Volume down and power does not put my phone into recovery for force upgrade. UPDATE.APP is on the root of my SD card under the folder dload.
Any other way to flash back to Huawei firmware?

I'm inning 4.4.2 omni ,working fine and smooth ..one of the best once but waiting for a proper rom where all the errors are removed. I want to shift back to beta Kitkat so I removed TWRP and tried booting using volume keys by it's not going to stock recovery mode ,is there any other way of going to flash UPDATE?
if you want to go back to stock beta kk, you need to flash stock recovery via fastboot.
If you want custom kk rom you can flash it thru your current twrp.
I did flash stock recovery and when I try to boot using the volume keys nothing happens ! Just starts normally

Make sure there's an update.app in the dload folder, then press and hold vol up + vol down + power, and keep holding those until it starts updating

How to revert Back in Stock recovery

Today my father decided it was finally the time to root and change his rom on his ascend p6 after seeing how flawless my note 3 with a custom rom runs.
So, the problem is the following: after he had rooted his phone with kingo root (if I recall) he tried to install cwm recovery using the app on the market. During the instalation, it stucked and went into a boot loop. I tried to put in download mode tho I am not sure if it has download mode and I've searched on the internet for it and didn't find anything. I have to mention the fact that I can get it into stock recovery but from that point I can not do anything. It will show "FAIL" as soon as the recovery starts.
Any way to fix this problem?
A fast response will be much appreciated, thanks for the assistance

Have you tried flashing new firmware?
If not:
Download an official firmware of choice(B125, B132 etc.) Put the dload folder in the root of a sdcard then hold power and both vol buttons to force firmware flash.

Btw: For (most) custom ROMs for the P6, you need to flash TWRP through adb

DO IT ON YOUR RISK...
if you're in 4.4.2 and wanna go back to 4.2.2 just follow the below steps...
download TWRP recovery which i attached bellow
flash it in boot-loader by "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" without quotes...
then turn off the phone and go to recovery by holding ( VOL_up+VOL_down+POWER )
choose format system...and then in power option choose reboot to boot-loader and again flash stock recovery
I'm attached it..."fastboot flash recovery recovery.img"...
now copy 4.2.2 in your sdcard dload folder...
at last go to recovery by ( VOL_up+VOL_down+POWER )... and the phone automatically begins the downgrading process...

ascend p6 stuck on huawei LOGO
Hi rasoulcarrera,
I was running the phone on kitkat but i dont like the battery drain in kit kat si tought of down grading the phone to jelly bean, i followed the same steps,
it showed me files written to device success OK
then phone is restarted but stuck on Huawei logo screen, volume up and down button and power button is not responding to take me to booting page,

Factory reset didn't help and updating true dload folder several update files didn't work either. Check the pic of the error in recovery. Any help welcome
try to flash the b132 boot and recovery img..then put tge b132 update.app in the dload folder on your external sdcard..do a force update by pressing and holding power & vol up & vol down at the same time..
if this works you can upgrade to b520 if you wish by using the local update as described in many other threads..

i got the files but how can i flash them? adb not connecting can i flash them with stock recovery?
hm..
i can't remember the combo for loading into bootloader mode..but from there your phone should be recognized under adb (commands are there: fastboot devices)

Key combinations are:
Vol. Up & Down + Power Button ---> Stock Recovery
Vol. Down +Power Button ---> Bootloader
For bootloader you need to hold them untill the phone gets stuck on huawei ascend logo. For recovery untill it enters it.

It works very well, but I would like to install another rom, and when I try to put my phone on Recovery mode, It doesn't work. I mean, I hold Block botton + Volume Down and my phone didn't put on Recovery Mode anymore. I tried to put my phone on Download mode to install the official firmware and It doesn't work neither, just It gets reboot.
I would like to know if there is a way to install another rom with this condition because I don't know what to do :crying:

download app like rom toolbox and it can reboot to recovery or download mode

are u sure previously u get in recovery mode with that combo button ?
afaik we need to press volume up+home+power button simultaneously to get in recovery mode.
download mode= volume down+home+power button
