[Q] Bricked r800i? - Xperia Play Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello everyone!
I have a problem with my Xperia Play. It gets stuck on the "Sony Ericsson" Boot logo when im on battery but when im connected to USB it boots up normally but the touchscreen doesnt work. And when i unplug the USB the phone shuts down itself.
I Flashed, Rooted and unlocked the bootloader but still the same problem.
Can anyone guide me on what i should do to get it fixed?
Thanks

Maybe the problem is your battery?

[Q] Xperia Play Won't boot on stock firmware HELP!

Xperia Play Won't boot.
I bought Asphalt 7. Was downloading and installing the game when suddenly it kind of crashed. It booted again but the screen became all glitchy. Opened the phone and saw that the flex cable died so I replaced it and booted but it didn't boot at all. When pressing the on button the phone vibrates but no screen.
Allready flashed .ftf file and updated with SEUS so the device is in stock state but it doens't boot. When pressing the on button the phone vibrates but no screen. :crying:
Help me please
Have you tried putting it on charge?

Don't worry I got it too...if your phone restart back, just wait until it booted up...and shut down back it should be powered off now....it is some kinda firmware bug I think, but it is not such a big problem...

If you shutdown and it restarts, wait for it to completely boot up,and then shutdown back....if keep restarting, clear all the necessary cache from cwm recovery

Xperia ion auto restart
Hello. My Xperia Ion is not rooted or flashed with custom rom or kernel or etc. But now it always restart itself when it is not plugged in using charger or USB cable. I wonder if there is problems with battery since it has build in battery so i could not figure it out by changing to new battery. Had anybody experience this? Thanks in advance! :good::good::good::good::good:

No problem. Maybe you should do some battery cycles test. Recharged when empty a battery should last longer. Maybe that will solve your problem.
I'd like to add that I updated my LT28a (locked bootloader) with the LT28h JB update (.211) then I rooted it using the Vietnamese Root Method. Everything was going good until this morning, I took it off the charger and it rebooted itself twice while above 90% charge. It reminds me of my Captivate that had the same issue. I'm testing it to see if it will happen again.

Flashing a ROM that's not 100% made for your phone model may be risky.

No its not rooted.I just normally plugged it to charge and that happened.
Then go to the service center...you have no more option if flash tool and pcc failed to solve this issue.
