Hi, I have a T889 and i317m before I got my T889. I used Straight Talk. Do you know which is better to use so I can sell the other one?
Thanks
Tmobile is a quad band and an att is a tri band. I would definitely stick with tmobile because it still has the att bands on it. If im wrong please correct me

I don't know if it's possible to get att phone working on Verizon. But is it possible to swap guts from a Verizon and att note 2. Just motherboards so basically you could swap colors of phone.
Is hardware identical inside?

Don't flash a tmo modem on your Verizon note. You will not get service.

Did you successfully flash a tmobile sch-t889 modem onto a verizon sch-i605?
Or did you just run a ROM like JellyBeans or other that enables H+?
I still have my VZW SCH-i605 also and get pretty solid H+ speeds on TMobile but had weird MMS issues that drove me nuts and I ended up just grabbing the TMO version.
Well I fkash the tmobile tablet rom by flashing only the tmobile rom and a verizon kernal amd added the fast.t-mobile.com apn and gt 6 to 8 mbps

how about mms are you able to send and receive those?
Also is this possible with a Sprint Note 2?
Hi - apologize in advance for the "noob" question - but I too would like to know how I can enable AWS bands (T-Mobile US and Wind mobile Canada) on my Verizon Note 2 i605tsv. I am running 4.1.2 all stock and I would appreciate if someone can almost spell it out for me.
Thanks,
Allen.

Short answer: yes.
You can even have it so you can get LTE on both carriers.

I'm using the sgh-1747 on T-Mobile but not getting good lte speeds. I'm running Slimbean 4.2.
Does anyone know a fix for this?

If I'm remembering right, you're not going to get the same speed as either the T999L, or the I747 on ATT networks. Can't remember where I got that from, but I know I've looked into it before. Been a while though.
You could try another modem. Also, you didn't say what you consider "good lte speeds", so it's hard to say if there could be anything more.

I have the 1747, I flashed a different mobile but so far no change. Not good speeds as in 10mbps and not higher. Could that be just my area?

You won't be able to use the Verizon Note 2 on T-Mobile.

Why not. On their site it said my phone was compatible, all I need to do is put their sim card in and switch the apn.

I thought the Verizon version was locked down and has to be unlocked by Verizon. Are you rooted right now?
This thread seems to show that it works. Dunno about LTE connectivity but it looks like it works for HSPA.

Some phones (made for specific carriers) have both CDMA and GSM capabilities, ie. the Verizon Note 2, iPhone 5
I am rooted..found out lastnight they are partially sim unlocked because you cant get LTE connectivity unless you fully unlock it.

Some have one. The VZW one does. I think it is specifically for roaming as the device is definitely gsm capable.

It's for the LTE network on Verizon. The SIM card had all the LTE sign in information and for foreign sim cards when global.
Having said that the Verizon note 2 is already sim unlocked (you do need root to change apns). You will get edge data and if you're in areframed t mobile you'll get HSPA, I'm honestly not sure about LTE.
I know this because I've owned both and was very active in the Verizon forum as well. I also thought about this exact move, but choose to sell my Verizon and buy atmo version. Better compatibility and wifi calling

Well I got my SIM today and all is well. Surprisingly faster than the verizon service I was getting and had no issues with the setup.
