Sense, hide icons - HTC One X

Yeah I know you can hide icons but on aosp(cm and so on) you can hide icons without removing them from home screens.
On 4.3 you can chose if you want to or not.
So wondering if anyone knows or has an idea where to look in order to change it so I can hide icons without removing then from home screens.

How do I disable the tabs in the bottom of the app drawer? (sense)

I came back to ARHD from AOKP simply because I missed Sense.
Now my question is, how can I disable the tabs at the bottom of the app drawer in the stock Rosie launcher? I tried to remove all of them, but there's still a black bar at the bottom, where the tabs used to be.. how can I remove them completely? Any help appreciated.. thanks

hide the nav bar on lockscreen only?

I remember one of the first ROMs i flashed on my nexus was Code Name Android, and it had the option to hide the navigation bar on the lock screen only.
is this something that can easily be implemented into JB? i noticed it was taken off of ROMs because it interfered with incoming calls when the screen was on (wasn't able to answer call) just curious if it was ever fixed or if this is a simple mod that i could do myself with some layout tweaks or something.
anyone have a clue?
I use Widgetlocker - lock screen replacement app, and it has an option to hide the navigation bar. I highly recommend it, very customizable with tons of sliders/themes to choose from and is very light on using system resources and draining battery.

you sure about that? i know it has the option to hide the navigation bar buttons, but the black bar is still there.
i want the wallpaper to go from the notification bar all the way down to the bottom of the screen.

Oh okay. If that's the case then you'll need to go a different route. Widgetlocker just blacks it out.

Its not quite as bad on the device as it blends into the bottom of the phone but still not using the complete screen.

App to change Icon label?

I have been searching online to try to find an app that will allow icon labels to be changed. ie, I might have two camera icons and both say camera. I might want to change one of those labels.
Does anybody know of an app that will work with 4.1.2 on the Note 2?
Try Icon Changer Free

Just read through icon changer free and it doesn't let you change the name only the icon in question.

If you are using Nova Launcher you can change or remove labels on the homescreen or maybe you could change the icon to another one so you can tell them apart. If 1 of those does not get used at all by you,you could go to system/app find the one you don't use,re-name it to .bak instead of .apk and reboot. That way it is removed but not deleted.Hope any of those can help.
thanks for the replies. I want to be able to change the icon label in the app drawer as well as the home screen. I don't see a solution here for the app drawer. I am not necessarily interested in changing the actual icon.

[REQUEST] Remove Icon Labels w/o Launcher

I really need some assistance removing icon labels without using a launcher that supports the feature. I use MiHone Launcher and it doesn't have the option to remove icon labels. This of course is a problem, and which is why I would rather flash a mod since I don't want to switch launchers for just one feature. Can anyone help?
Why you not ask the dev of your launcher for this feature?

How could I remove everything on my lock screen?

I'm currently using Nova on my Galaxy, and I'd like to know how I could remove the alarm clock info, the taskbar(if could make it transparent that would be fine also), the T-Mobile text (it doesn't show in the picture, but it's there), and the way when I pull down it shows that useless box/outline. I'd prefer to keep Nova as well. I don't want anything on my lock screen.

Are you rooted?

Nova doesn't control the lockscreen at all, look in the system settings for lockscreen options. And if your ROM supports transparent notification's bar then under Nova settings (May be a Nova Prime only feature) there should be an option for transparent notification bar support.
Yes, I'm rooted.

There's no in system lock screen option to make it transparent, or at least I can't find it. In nova there is, but it only makes it transparent in the home screen, not lock screen.
