I had search the whole web and haven't found a single definitive answer yet.
I have a Galaxy Note II International version ( GT-N7100 ) and I'm looking forward to install custom rom. I'm looking for custom rom with full Japanese language support ( Able to set System Language to Japanese ) and based on 4.2 and above. Furthermore, I would also wish the custom rom support S-pen because I'm taking a lot of Japanese note with it during my studies.
Tried to search google for each rom detail but the information turned up vague, so I had to ask here.
Any custom that fit what I wanted?? I would prefer the AOSP or AOSP-based, not Samsung-based.

Hello,
I have searched all the threads under the Desire category but not one of them contains the desired information. Is there any ROM (with active developement) that delivers "with Google" experience? Possibly a clone of N1's ROM with all the available languages supported by default in "standard android based" phones (Czech)?
Answers to F.A.Q.
------------------
1. No, I do NOT look for a CyanogenMOD or an Oxygen!
2. I did not buy N1 because there is no way I could buy one in the Czech republic with valid warranty.
Thank You for your responses!

Well, the N1 ROM is just an AOSP ROM with the Google Apps inside.
I know this goes against your FAQs, but you can simply install CM or Oxygen (AOSP theme) and then top it up with the GApps.
As far as I know, there are no active AOSP ROMs that fit your bill completely, as all three (CM, DF and Oxygen) are being added on by their developers and will differ significantly from the N1 ROM.
Like I said, the closest you can get is to get an AOSP ROM such as CM.
Or perhaps there is a specific reason that you are trying to achieve with this ROM that you think other ROMs couldn't do?
If you go over to MoDaCo you can get an N1 port for the Desire
Thank you!
Thank you guys for the answers.
What is the best custom rom for XXLE1
It needs dutch language
the FAQ is right there...thanks.
stop spamming
this childish question
go to development section see rom watch their specifications
choose which hits your mind
do make new thread which meaning is 'null'
use FAQ for common questions.........
FYI most custom rom here are developed from asian region stock rom. as far as I know only old chobits and old hybrid support multilanguage rom. I'm not sure if the newer version is also comes with multilanguage feature but the new hybrid definetely doesn't have that feature.
PS: I hope you'll put your next question on FAQ.
[ROM][MIUIv5][JB-4.2.2] MIUIandroid 3.6.28 for t0lteatt
hello, i tried to post within the above rom page, but i don't have permission to... so i'm posting it here
I installed MIUIandroid 3.6.28 rom and in love with the cool effects and screen goodies but only problem i'm having is the language input where Korean is not an option. I will need to type in Korean to communicate with my family and friends but input options does not have Korean available. Tried to search google and in this forum but no luck (specific for Galaxy note 2 device which i'm using)
Does anyone know how to add Korean language onto this ROM after I install the rom? will future update have Korean language on it?
I love to use this ROM but without the language support I can't use it.
thanks in advance and for awesome site!! (i've been reading xda for long but never posted until now, ^_^)
I'm not the dev, but, I cant imagine that he would be including Korean language pack, since he speaks english..
There might be a way of adding Korean language to it, since it is a Chinese based rom, but I do not know how that is done..
Maybe someone else can help you

Hi,
due to the fact that there arent many roms by now (and espacially no one with german region support) is someone able to take a german stock rom, deodex & zipalign it and remove the bloat stuff?
In fact that would be 100% what i am searching for even if there would be more custom roms. Maybe there are some more peeps searching for the same.
...or a short tutorial on how to add additional language support into us-based roms.
I suggest to use uk-based roms in the future for custom roms and add ir-functionality.
Hi everybody,
I need ROM original (no unlock no custom) in spanish I have a second hand Samsung SIII SGH-I747M, but this phone has only English, French and Chinese language, and I dont want a custom rom please.
Somebody can help me?
The android version is 4.1.2
Build Number: JZO54K.I747MVLDMF1
Sorry for my English my language is Spanish
Thanks.
Edit:
I found Language Enabler a nice apk but it works in 85% the translation but I think is enough and I want one more thing if it possible change the rom? some forums I've found there is not possible to do, and I want to be sure to do with this phone.
¡Holà!
The SGH-i747M is mainly sold in Canada, so the carrier probably don't bother to include the complete Spanish language translation files, if not at all.
Although on Sammobile, I can see official ROMs are available for a Mexican and a Puerto Rican carriers; they probably are fully Spanish-translated. Now, I do NOT suggest you flash those official ROMs on your phone -- yours looks like is a Canadian one, based on the last part of the build number --, you might brick it. But you might be able to extract some things from them, and create your own FrankenROM...

Is it possible to change your ROM? yes, of course. Lots of people are doing it in these forums. Please do some readings, and familiarize yourself with the concepts of a ROM, a recovery, and flashing. Look at the various stickied posts in the SGSIII forums -- The Noob Helper is a great start, but every user will suggest you read, read, and read again until you feel confident enough.
After you read, read, and read again, if you are still tempted to try going the flashaholic way, it looks like AOSP-based ROMs/CM-based ROMs can be set in Spanish, and the translation is probably more complete than on stock ROM.
Thanks Alexander,
Acctually I was reading, reading and reading a lot of posts about flashing, and its very confusing because for one phone many people uses diferents ways, and some people has unsucessfull work... and thats what im worried.
And I think after Installing Language Enabler and put it on Spanish (United States) the phone autmatically restore and I have changed to spanish and works really good, almost 80% or 85% was spanish, I think could usefull for other poeple who wants to change to other languages, because the first time I did, I was trying with Spanish (Ecuador) but it doesnt works hahaha and the phone was "spanglish" words with the half english half spanish worked really bad.
