Best bettery (that fits inside S3) - Galaxy S III Accessories

Hi there I was looking to get a longer lasting battery than my stock one with my S3 and I am a bit of a noob - I really dont like the fat ones so would be great to get one to fit inside. Now when I was browsing I noticed this 3800 one : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3800mAh-High-Capacity-Battery-for-Samsung-Galaxy-S3-i9300-/300944750217?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item4611b47689 seems great specs but I cannot find anyone thats reviewed it - seen a few posts on the 'gold' ones (and this may be one of them I think - just looks different) on ebay at 3250 and some people say there good but I am unsure which is best and if there are probelms involved? Or if they are actually better / worth getting? I.e. I see mentions of leakey batteries memory problems and NFC loss - I guess I dont mind the NFC loss is that about it? Thanks!

Anyone? Tnx

Zerolemon 2300mah. You can find it on amazon. Next time search through this forum, there are tons of threads on batteries.

I bought a sporting brand one that was supposed to be like 3400 and it didn't do any better than stock. They refunded my money and I used that to buy the zero lemon one rated at 2300. Will start testing that tomorrow.

Yes I have searched through many places already. I guess I was hoping maybe someone had tried this particular battery. I guess I might have to assume its like a 'gold' one. A zerolemon at 2300 and anker at 2200 isnt the stock 2100? Sounds a bit pointless to get an extra 200 no? I.e. how long extra are you getting out of these?
Got a feeling this 3800 will be more like 2500 at best anyway I suppose - would be nice to know...I suppose these cheap batteries dont leak or over heat or wipe card memories - not sure why some people talk about this - not seen any reports of this.

The zero lemon one rated at 2300 is lasting me over 24 hours.

2 weeks ago I picked up a couple ZeroLemon 2300 batteries and I'd guess I get an additional 30-40% life over my 13 month old stock battery. I had been using a QCell 2100mah battery for the last 12 months as well and it worked well enough, including NFC. The QCell was no better than the stock battery at the time of purchase, hard to say if the ZeroLemon is at this point as I can't remember my old battery stats. I do miss NFC functionality with the ZeroLemon batteries but I may be the only idiot who ever actually used NFC tags anyway.

Battery 3500mAh

I am very sorry if there is already topic like this one.
I found on ebay a battery that was 3500mAh or 3600mAh I don't recall exactly, but they say that it is the exact size like the original and won't change the size of the phone like the 5000mAh does.
My question is did someone has it,and how is it working? How many hours did your phone last?
Thank You in advance!

Absolute nonsense. Every battery that claims vast improvements in the same form factor is a scam.
If 3500mah could fit in the space provided, Samsung would have included a 3500mah battery.

I Don't agree, there could be a lot of reasons why they didn't put one, from budget point of view to supply issues. It's not like they strive to bring you the best at any cost.

If you meant the Gold battery, then it is 3500mAh. I bought two and noticed a huge difference compared to my stock battery. The stock used to power the phone until 7pm with moderate usage, wifi and bluetooth always on. Ever since I used the Gold battery, the battery still is at approximately 40% at 11pm. The battery still is 2 days old but still, the difference is noticeable
can you guys do a nova battery tester run on those batteries?

Mine came with 2800 mAh. Since it's cheaper than stock it has worth the purchase. Don't get your hopes high with these batteries.
Your srock may be dieing if it's almost a year old. Mine got down to 1700 mAh and this explains the "huge" difference you see in your new battery.

I bought the Gold battery two months after I got my Note so it means the OEM is still at it's peak. But yeah, I really don't have high hopes for replacement batteries. They may have a higher charge but they won't last as long as OEM. Like my dslr batteries, I get more juice out of the replacement batteries but my OEM battery outlasted them. But it is still worth it for me. What good is a camera (or phone in this case) if it does not have power when you really need it? Battery life does not matter to me (atleast in my case since I could buy 4 to 5 replacement batteries for 1 OEM dlsr battery - the Gold battery however, is another case).I keep that mantra all the time and I am happy with it

My battery

Quick question...
It hardly holds its charge and often doesn't fully charge overnight when I've woken up in the morning.
If this sounds like a dead battery to people, what I need to know is how do I go about finding a legitimate battery online?
Are the ones on these accessories shops online any good?
Help, please!

Just wanted to configrm - they are awesome indeed.
I've upgraded mine to a 1650mAh Mugen Power within the last week. It's new and the discharge curve is epic, especially compared to my stock battery that stared to bulge and hold about 8hrs worth of charge. This thing easily lasts me all day, so far. It will happily extend the life of my device as I upgrade to the Nexus 4 in the spring and pass this down to my mother.

Which one to get Mugen vs siedio vs hyperion vs Anker external batt??

Hi,
I have Verizon GNex running stock JB and i like it that way.
Currently i have the original 1850mah and 2100mah battery, i've just purchased a $5 external batt charger on ebay to charge the extra battery and it's working so far.
What do most ppl. recommend/use to get through the day on GNex.
What's better among the hyperion or mugen or sieodo or should i go for external battery like Anker??
Thanks
im using hyperion 3500 and its definitely doing its job to me. ive had it for a month now

Yes. Samsung finally decided to make all variants the same when it comes to form factor and battery. Just make a note, if you buy a third party brand battery, and you use Google wallet or nfc, make sure the battery has this feature.

Also note a lot of 3rd party manufacturers claim higher specs but in reality don't last any longer than the stock one.

There is actually a 2000 mAh battery out there. I bought it myself, but as other people said, if you do the math, it only adds about an hour, so it wasn't really worth it. If you really want an extended battery, go for the ones with the extra bulk, or buy two 1800 mAh batteries to swap during the day.

Agreed, the Anker batteries (two pack with charger for less than $20) has been great. I have been using them for about 2 months now and they are doing just fine.
I have to agree about the Anker batteries as well. Be careful about what you buy off ebay though. I bough a 3 pack of supposedly 1800mAh batteries off Ebay and they were all ****. I compared the physical size of the batteries with the oem one and they were all thinner and lighter. Get the Anker ones. I bought an Anker one about a month ago and so far it's working great.
Yeah I just unwrapped a cheap 1800mah battery I got off ebay and the markings underneath indicated its a 1500. Its also skinnier than stock.
I just picked up some EzoPower brand batteries and they appear to be real 1800. Need to give them a few more charging cycles to get a better idea.
