Is it snappier than 4.1.2?
Yes a little snappier.. some guys had freezes on 4.1.2 on the note 8 and that got solved with the update. ..I never had freeze even in 4.1.2

Hello everyone,
I was wondering if the signature unlock is available on the Note 2, I tried to search about it on Google but all I could find was about the ICS update for the Note 1.
Can anyone with the Note 2 confirm the availability of this feature?
Thanks

I upgraded from Note 1 to Note 2. Feature not available as of 4.1.2.
Anybody knows of a port from Note 1?
Maybe it'll come along in 4.2.
Ah well...

Yes. Its not like iPad 3 to 4. Its a generational change. Everything is better. I used nova as my launcher to put 5x5 grid but otherwise its all stock. One word fantastic. I look at my note 1 and its like looking at my HD2 compared to my Note 1! Battery life is 2x.

I love nova and use it on my phone and n7. Do you lose page buddy if you use nova?

HI,
Did you try using Note2 S Pen on Note1? Did it work ? I am curious to see if this works on Note 1 (SGH-i717)

While I don't own a Note 2 yet I know the Note 1's stylus will work on the Note II and vice versa since they both use Wacom UD digitizers. I actually use my ThinkPad X61 Tablet PC stylus on my Note 1 perfectly fine.
Yes, both S Pen of Note LTE and Note 2 works on each other.
And about uograde , yes its worth it in every sense ,specially processer and battery.

Good that they work, but the first generation note stylus really sucked. New one is much better.

Does anyone know if it is possible to create a S Note file (.snb) on the GNote 2 and then open/edit that file on a GNote 10.1 (and vice versa)? I take tons of notes using s note on my 10.1 and would love to have those notes sync (via dropbox/dropsync) with my on-order gnote 2, so that I can read/edit them on the go.
Thanks for your time.
I don't know here try....

Hi,
Has anybody heard any news about android 4.1.2 update for EE Note 2 LTE (GT-N7105)? Why Samsung takes such a long time to role out updates is beyond me. N-7105 has already been updated in other markets.
Not heard anything as yet.

Thanks, Samsung is very slow on updates for some weird reason.
I see the update is in kies now. Anyone updated yet? Any issues? I'm holding back just incase there's battery drain with it.

Ok updated via kies to 4.1.2 all good so far, even updated the Note 10.1 for good measure.
Not noticed any drain as yet but it's early days, I'll check back in a week If there is any developing issues.

Thanks. I went ahead and updated at the weekend. Battery seems pretty much on a par with 4.1.1. And that's without doing a factory reset too. So I'm pleased so far.

According to this post you can use Note 3 roms on a note 2, is it true?

There are a lot of Note 3 roms in the forums. I'm using Sky Note Air 4.3 Note 3 version right now. It works without any issues.

Using the same one.....works well.
But use a note 3 rom that has been ported to note 2. You can't download and flash a note 3 rom on the note 2. The roms in the dev section have note 3 features.
