change color of lock screen dots?? - Samsung Galaxy W I8150

is there a way to do so?

I think so, but you gave to decompile the correct things, change the corrects lines and then, recompile. I THINK that's a way to change it.

woah... sounds tough..:silly:

what do you mean by your question?
If you want to change the lockscreen go to settings> Security> Screen lock> and select Pattren
and you should not forget your lock code
If you luapa, then one way you should be flashing
go to cwm
select wipe data

sorry I'm confused. If you want to change its design. you have to compile framework-res.apk
and go to the folder
res / drawable-hdpi / in here

and do not forget to backup the original framework-res.apk
by making a backup flashable.zip
download fw-backup-flashable.zip
extract
put framework-res.apk original and move to
fw-backup-flashable/system/framework/ in here
and after that make a zip

Little Skateboarding Robot??...

When I install the advanced launcher on my phone, I get this skateboarding robot, but it's no where to be found after I change it....anyone know where I can get it?
thats the default wallpaper for advanced launcher.
you can get it back by wiping lol...or you could go to settings>manage applications>advanced launcher and hit clear defaults or restore defaults, whichever it is...that might get it back.
if you dont wanna try that, its in the update that you flashed, extract it to your desktop and extract launcher.apk then its in res/drawable/default_wallpaper.png. just copy it to your sdcard to wherever your keep wallpapers, and there it is!!!

Ask cyanogen. I'm sure he has it
If your using any cyanogen based rom (i.e. Cyanogen and Wesgarner) on the default launcher it is the first wallpaper in the wallpaper gallery
I hope your aware that you csn change wallpapers by pressing on screen to anything you want.
You can save your currently set wallpaper from a free app called Wallpaper Set & Save. If you try reinstalling Advanced Launcher and trying WSS, you can save it.
Not sure which you wanted so...

Ok, the same images in the two files (twframework-res.apk and framework-res.apk) but, xml files? I edit one xml but there isn't any change (twframework-res.apk), that xml is neither in framework-res.apk or SystemUI.apk
Edit: Ok, I don't need to edit twframework-res.apk, i need to edit apk xml (in this case, Music.apk) I found the same xml inside, i'll try if work.
Edit2: It's work.

For 99% controls of ui you would need to edit framework-res.apk
Though i prefer apktool + 7zip

Please Follow ( http://www.mediafire.com/download/o1f9abd4a47c94t/CM-Z1.apk )

IS THAT RELATED ?
You can start by just copying and extracting the framework-res.apk in the system/framework folder of any theme. I recommend using a stock deodexed theme template as this will give you a good foundation to build from. After you extract the framework-res.apk look in the res/drawable-mdpi folder. That is where most of the icons will be that are used for theming. You can pull any of the .png's and edit them this way. DO NOT mess with any of the icons labeled .9.png when editing the framework-res.apk this way (see info on .9's below). And don't (generally) don't change the size of the png's you edit.
When getting started the best way I found to figure out which images are used where was to flash the same theme as the one I am editing to my phone so I can look at the phone and try to figure out where the icon (image) is being used. If I still can't find it then I will take my best guess and color the image something bright like red or another color thats not used in the theme I'm making. Then I put the color edited icon in my theme and flash it (see below) then go through my phone and find whats red.
After you edit all the .png's you want and are ready to put your theme back together:
Open a copy of the original theme that you used as a base and open the system/framework/framework-res.apk in 7zip. DO NOT extract it. Just open it. Then go to res/drawable-mdpi (or whatever folder you edited the icons in) and place your edited icons back into this folder. After you finish, close 7zip, rename your new theme so you don't confuse it with the theme template you are using and flash away.
I'm not going to go into great detail about how to do the things below because I simply don't have the time. I have given you enough information that you should be able to google and look for guides on youtube that will get you through the process below.
When editing .9.png's (commonly refered to as .9's) you need to pick up some software. First you'll need to download and install the jdk and jre. Google them. They are on Java's web site. Once you get those installed you'll need to get apk tool or apk manager, I prefer apk tool myself, and decompile the framework-res.apk to be edited.
If you edit the .9's but stay away from that one pixel wide border you won't have to patch your .9's. This is what I do. When I open a .9 to edit the first thing I do is draw a selection box around the image making sure to stay clear of the one pixel wide border. This way all my changes stay inside the selection box. If you ever do decide you need to patch your .9's there is a program called draw9patch that will do this for you.
Happy Theming!!

When i unboxed my XPERIA PLAY I and turned it on i looked to the black status bar on the phone framework and looked to the box framework that was more beauty and was blue with white icons.
Can someone tell me if its possible to get the original blue framework like the image i have posted above, thanks in advanced, and sorry my English :S.
The photo of the box us edited with the computer. The statusbar looks on every xperia play that is on stock "ugly".
You must be rooted and edit the systemui.apk to get this

you can try don't know if it will work, but what i know works is
take you new .png copy it to your phone's storage with your comp. then rename the extention in root explorer from .png to .jpg then it hacks the extension and remains a .png that is uneditable but is read by the system as a .jpg

No need to check since nunggg since just replace a image file. The version code of the apk remain the same. Now you installed it as a update apk in data/app/, once once reboot the update version will be cleaned.
Better solution is replace it manually, like nunggg told you.
