32gb microsdhc card.
3500mah battery
jaybird bluetooth headset
screen protector
Any suggestions for different accessories to serve the same purpose?
Skip the 3500 MAH as there seems to be some battery door issues.
Get some back up batteries and an extra charger. Throw an extra battery in your wallet and you will be happier for it!
Get a high quality case! Seidio makes a nice active line, Casemate "Barely There" looks pretty slick, and the TPU cases out there are GREAT. Find something you like that covers and protects without too much bulk. Also, bonus if they are easy enough to get on and off.
Buy PLENTY of MicroUSB cables. Trust me, as I have 4 in my house and one in my purse to take care of any charging needs.
Buy a quality Car Charger. You can find good ones from reputable online sites for not much money or goto walmart and buy the one for BlackBerry Storm and it will work brilliantly. This phone is very sensitive to chargers, so if its blackberry or HTC approved, it should work just fine.
Root your phone with NAND! This is the biggest thing in getting the most out of your phone if you are not afraid and feel pretty confident. think of how many people JB their iPhones? Well this is actually more essential to get what you want and make the device as autonomous as possible.
GOOD LUCK!

european shoulder bag .. aka man purse
Yes there are serious female geeks. My purse is silver and stylish and I own about 30+ pairs of shoes. Yet I have a full electronics workbench with solering station, MM, drill, Dremel, and full sets of hand tools in metric and us ( sans an osc scope - waiting for a DSO nano ). Parts hidden in colorful rolling drawer carts.
My boyfriend is equally geeky ( he is a .net enthusiast) and we bond over making arduino projects, music applications, and learning from each other.
Maybe someday we can be like the great Ladyada and her crew.

also no problems with the 3500mah door. I've popped mine on and off about a dozen times at least in the last two weeks.
regular guy, pocket kept except at a desk or a car. I posted this review on another forum for the battery:
Positives besides the battery life:
when i put it on a table face up it looks like it's hovering all the time. It looks awesome. Everyone is curious.
It's very protective of the camera lens. It's like impossible to damage the lens unless you actually try.
The material feels cool.
It now weighs enough to be used as a ranged weapon (1d6+2 19-20/x2 if anyone is wondering)
Negatives besides the bulkiness:
Not enough holes at the speaker, I'm not sure why this is an issue at all, i'm disappointed in Seidio's design testing. The lack of holes actually makes a difference in sound quality and volume, albeit VERY minor, I noticed it when I swapped and I did further testing and now it bothers me.
Covers the red rim around the camera lens. I honestly liked seeing that red rim. I know, I'm reaching, but I really did like it.
where can i find a girl like that!!!
I picked it up at BB, it's an Incase Nylon Sling Sleeve for MacBook Pro 13". I like that it has room for not only my Xoom, but also the keyboard, a few cables, and even a few file folders. It has handles that tuck away if you want to, as well as a nice padded shoulder strap. Just got it yesterday, but I think it will work out great!
Now tied in with Sugarsync and the new Quickoffice Pro HD, I have ALL my work files everywhere I go!
How much was it looks great
Great job. You took all the right pictures. Incase makes fantastic products. Their only problem is they mostly cater to apple.

Just bought the bag. Best buy online has it on sale for 47.99. Had to make the store price match it.

I feel like there's too much room in that bag for the Xoom. Is that true? Like... will the Xoom slide around or anything inside of it? Also, what kind of case do you have on the Xoom?
The pocket where you'd put the Xoom is a little bigger, but not much. It does not slide around cause of the thick felt padding it has. Feels very secure.
The way the bag is made keeps it from "sliding" around, it is larger than the xoom (a file folder fits in there perfectly), but no excessively so. I think it works, for now, until something Xoom specific hits the market!
Nice Find atoy74! I paid like $60 for mine, but had some Reward Zone money so didn't pay that much out of pocket. I know they have it on Amazon too.
Oh yeah the shoulder strap is long enough to use the bag like a messenger bag too!

Do you guys think that this case would fit the xoom? The iPad 2 dimensions are 241.3 mm(h) x 185.67mm (w) and the xoom is 249.1mm (h) x 167.1mm (w). The case is made for the iPad 2 camera to fit in the right places, but do you guys think that the xoom would fit in like an iPad 2 sleeve? Let me know your ideas.

I bought it in store, for 30 but will be going back today to get my 15 dollar refund, it is super nice to get me by until a good portfolio case comes out.
i got the $15 HP case in store at Best Buy Tuesday night. Not bad, little too big for my taste (I used to have a very snug iPad case that I LOVED)
Do any of you have a case for the lapdock to recommend?
I travel a lot and use my lapdock everyday and I want to prevent it be scratched up.
Cheers
I just searched "Atrix Laptop Dock Case" on amazon. I ordered the one at this link because I liked the color scheme (slime green on black). It's your standard neoprene case with a zipper pouch, a bit overpriced, with no handle. It makes me comfortable stuffing the Lapdock into a backpack though (which is all I really wanted). I'd buy it again if I lost it, but not if I could find (a cheaper) one with a handle. Good luck.

might consider getting this.
There's the official one, but it's pricey.

Try this company for the OEM case, I found their price and service to be excellent

I haven't checked the exact dimensions, but you could also try a neoprene sleeve for the 13" macbook air (the laptop dock has that extra bar at the back, which may add the extra couple inches) or even the 11" air.
I got the motorola one, looks and works a treat, cost more than the rest but worth the money.
I bought a Kenneth Cole Reaction bag from Fry's. Below is a link to what the bag looks like.

I might consider it ON a case, but I wouldn't want to stick anything on the phone itself. For one thing, it wouldn't fit in my car or desk dock.
Does it come with extra adhesive pads? If not, then what do you do if/when you get a new phone?
Attached this to the outside of a case, and it is GREAT.
I am a cyclist, and I have ruined phones by dropping them off the bike. I can now ride and use a phone if needed. (Yeah they say texting and driving is bad xD)
You should be a pitch man, watching this was like watching one of those 15 minute infomercials.

It comes with one extra sticky pad.
I'm considering getting this but all of my phones have extended batteries with the extended back piece :/. I'll just get one for my brothers iPhone I guess lol.
Wow that really does look pretty handy. I am wondering if I cam modify my rugged case to fit this without adding any thickness. it just might be thick enough (My case) I would have to cut out the cases kickstand but this acts as a kickstand so I lose nothing.
but man $30 is steep for that.
It comes with one extra sticky pad. Flygrip. The one handed solution. This sounds like a smartphone pr0n fapping device. One hand to hold the phone, the other to grip your fly.

I was thinking the same for such a simple device, but it looks well made. I'm betting it could be redesigned to be even thinner than 1/4" thickness which isn't all that thin.
Agreed 1/4" is almost as thick as the phone itself.
Machine this bad boy out of aluminum or even Titanium and make it 2-3mm thick at most and I would eve pay $40 for that one.
Problem is if that outer piece gets too thin it could bend/sheer/snap. It looks like it has a thick glossy paint coating to top it off which looks nice and may add to the durability. Using those metals may even add to the price and you'd be paying $40 or more.
I'm finding more and more often with the epic 4g touch less and less hands on experience when it comes to accessories. Best Buy has only one case I'd even consider buying (platinum series case) and Radio Shack only has full enclosure cases that go on your belt. Not really digging that solution. I may just invest in a Flygrip, how long is the free shipping good for?
I know and $40 to $45 would be fine if it was say titanium (it would be strong enough that thin) and at minimum half its current thickness. ie around 2mm would be nice. maybe 3mm.
as it stands its a lot of money for an awful thick piece of plastic. (relative to the size of the phone)
Good idea, too big for me though.
Sent from my Samsung Epic 4G Touch.
Thanks for the review. Looks awesome, but wouldn't be able to put the phone on a car dock or desktop dock after you put the Fly grip on I'm assuming...
Just purchased on of these. Cant wait to get it.
I am kinda worried about the car dock thing though since I've been seriously considering getting one. I thought that magnetic dock in the other thread was pretty cool, but after having this IDK if it would work.
it would not be all that hard to modify the car dock to work with the Fly Grip if you positioned it properly.
If you do the tilt insert method ie you don't slide the jack slider up and down this might work.
get another dock of any kind (one of the cheap ones on ebay for $6) just so long as it has the depressed section with the 4 holes for the universal quad mount.
you glue it onto the back of the vehicle dock. making it THICKER.
now you have enough depth to "cut" a hole into the vehicle dock large enough to encompass the flygrip.
and there you go. vehicle dock and flygrip. it is 1 2 3 ? no but its doable.
BTW discovered the kickstand built into my case works almost exactly and just as effectively a flygrip.
I was contemplating how to cut a hole in my case to accommodate a flygrip adn it hit me ahh just use the kickstand already on it -)
I will make a video tommorrow.
30 dollars is WAY too much for this thing...10-15 dollars at the most, but no way for 30 dollars..
I got one on the way thanks for the heads up qbking77! I think this is perfect for people with 4 inch+ phones.

Does it rotate so that you can use the phone in landscape?
I am seeking to compile a nice list of "exotic" accessories for the S3.
truly cool exotic strange things.
They can be strange in look and style strange in function or strange in what they are made of (no gem plastered covers very boring unless its REALLY freaking cool
on ebay you can get really nice Bamboo cases. I have one coming in the mail will post better pictures later. search galaxy s3 bamboo
I also got a nice 3D silicon STITCH case !! ordered that too. (pictures of both attached)
I found a silicone Cassette Tape cover. not a tpu with picture of cassette but silicon in the SHAPE of a cassette too. very neat. for $4 why not. ordered that too.
On the forums right here found this Game klip holder to physically mount a sixaxis controller and s3 together.
http://buy.thegameklip.com/
This company
http://usshop.freshfiber.com/?Product Group=Samsung Galaxy SIII&_lang=en
has several interesting 3D cases. I especially like the "book" case (very elegant looking) and the dictaphone is quirky
on ebay you can also find other cases like stitch but of teddy bears etc..
I found a bunch more odd ball silicon cases on ebay and another wood veneer case (looks like its not bamboo) pictures attached.
Can't forget the Gameboy Case oh and there is a calculator one too (non working pity)
Found a case with built in "lights" (remember those lights that flash when your phone rings? that!) I think it only works with GSM though.
Here is an interesting one. I have a bunch of those little lenses you attach to phones wide angle macro etc..
this is a 4x lens !! a little steep in price for an impulse buy but I will be keeping an eye on this one
280774520126
This one is actually kind of cool.
130780971906
its a case with a 3D LEAF On the back but its actually a place where you can wrap and store your head phones. thats actually pretty neat. a bit expensive though.
That's one way to put a mirror on a phone
280964614237
While not exotic its certainly not common
261109686186
a Galaxy SIII SHIRT
OK now this 120985261306 is actually pretty cool looking. wish they made it in ORANGE
HAH found it 120985263426
Interesting if your a cyclist. designed to look like a bicycle helmet 180994575165
ok I am done for now. that just the first 40 pages next 12 hours of auctions.
its mostly cases. anyone find any other neat things?
Max 20 per post so here is the rest
OK some of these are just hideous ! its certainly exotic ! 130781376064
Definitely not my cup of tea. It will make s3 so ugly.
Sent from my GT-I9300T using xda premium
I like them
Very Nice, Thanks
Via mon nouveau S3
victor I said exotic not expensive.
exotic as in "strange" or "unusual" or "not typical" etc.. etc.. that is what exotic is. not your typical tpu/otterbox/leatherbifold type accessory.
anything strange fun exciting etc..
because the S3 is so nice and most importantly the "SAME" across the board we are seeing a lot more accessories made for it since they can make ONE accessory and it will fit "ANY" S3.
I wrote to these folks to inquire about a S3 version of their case. They said once production starts on the iPhone version, they will begin the S3 design. If I move to a new case from my white UAG \ Spigen Modello duo I currently use... it will be to this one. It has a knife, screwdriver, thumbdrive... just look, it's damn neat! The camera lens attachment looks awesome as well!
http://www.indiegogo.com/TheReadyCase
hey that is pretty slick. I like the built in lens ring I use those lenses quite a lot!
Ok here is some more "cool" ones
found a lego style one. got it for $2 so yeah I bought it
the fake camera doubles as a kickstand one is neat.
then you have the hard feline one and the "purse" style one with strap.
Now this one is actually REALLY cool. 251158308395 the USB cable has a built in hiding spot inside the case. but its rather expensive at $38 more than I am willing to pay. if anyone finds one cheaper please post. Great idea!
HEY almost forgot this one a NON CASE gadget!! not S3 specific but its cool and strange and works with the S3 so it counts old school HANDSET Headset. I love using this I have the orange one of course you can get them for $10 on ebay
nice info mate..but ill just stick to my slim hard case...

i would at the minimum get a bumper case or tpu case. about $4 on ebay. it only takes "ONE" time to not be careful and that's all she wrote for $500 poof. I can not afford not to have a case so I might as well have fun with em.
