Would it be possible to flash a verizon PRI and maybe change the ESN to that of a HTC Incredible to get it working on verizon. Or would it be better to try and get them to add the ESN/MEID to the database
I want to unlock my HTC Incredible. Is there a step by step guide or FAQ?

To use on a different carrier
You can use the Inc on MetroPCS and Cricket, but not on Sprint. Same with Evo, you can use on Metro and Cricket, but not Verizon.
If it was possible, I'd be using an Evo lol

I have a incredible and want to use it with pageplus but they said it's locked. Is that what unrevoked is for??

i understand that, but why cant you just activate an inc on sprint without wimax on a normal data/voice plan and a normal data/voice plan with the evo on verizon. they are both cdma i believe, right?

It has to do with how the device interfaces with the data network.

Both companies use two different technologies for their network so that will not be possible.

here is the step by step instructions to unlock HTC incredible.first choose how your going to unlock either through the network provider or through the 3rd parties. if you go for 3rd parties means I'll recommend you one site namely Theunlockarena.com/htc-incredible/rs13wp9/ .here you need to give your IMEI number to them and then they'll give you code.then you can follow these steps:
1. Switch ON your HTC Incredible with a Not ACCEPTED SIM Card.
2. If your HTC Incredible asks for a PIN code, then enter your SIM card PIN and press OK.
3. HTC Incredible will ask to enter an "unlock code".
4. Enter Unlock Code they had send to you.
5. Your HTC Incredible is now unlocked.
that's all...then you can use any network as your wish.

1. Incredible does not accept SIM cards. So there is no way to unlock the phone for a GSM network.
2. People have successfully had their phone activated on page plus. I think it has to have a clean ESN, and no longer active on the Verizon network. Then take it into a page plus agent so that they can activate it.
From the previous posts, it appears that data might be an issue with unlocking an HTC Incredible for use on Sprint's network, although I'm not sure why. I thought that WiMax was Sprint's 4G network - not their 3G network - and the original HTC Droid Incredible does not have any type of 4G capability. A few years ago, I successfully unlocked a Samsung flip phone (can't remember the model at the moment) that was not a smartphone and successfully activated it for use on Verizon's network. However, as I previously mentioned, the fact that the Incredible is a smartphone may be a factor in whether or not it can be used on Sprint's network, although I am not sure.
Does anyone know if the incredible can be used on US Cellular? I know they have the Desire already. If so, could US Cellular themselves unlock it or does a user do it themselves?

You need to spoof to ESN, ofc, that is illegel because it is mostly used to get stolen phones service again. Nobody is going to go after you if you do tbh.
You will want to pick the closest phone the EVO is on Verizon for any hope. And yes their networks are compatible, because you can already roam on Verizon at 3g speeds if you change the prl.
I think CDMA workshop should be able to help you.

or just pay 50 buck to a buddy of mine he will do it all you need is a usb a phone a working computer
If you have metroPCS service in your town, you can also flash it to metro- text, talk, mms, web, gps all for $40 a month. I also think you can for cricket as well. Both are pre-paid carriers- no need for a donor phone.

Hi I flashed my Epic 4G touch to Verizon prepaid but It keeps saying roaming whats up with that everything Is working perfect but it says roaming witch probably is not a good thing??
I have a rooted Evo runnin on CM7, but i'm selling it on CL, and a guy is wondering if i can flash it to Boost? but, i heard you needed a donor phone?
