Develop Bugs

Need help choosing my next phone.

I currently have the s2 and have been flashing this thing left and right I want my life back lol
So basically what I'm asking is what android smartphone is best out of the box I.e. stock rom and all because the GS2 is a beast only under custom ROM so what would be a good phone with a good UI AND ROM, I have my eyes on the htc one x or one x + and note / note 2 , nexus 4 , s3 , ... open to unlocking phones because I'm on Simple mobile if that helps...

Every ui you can have on those you can have on this one getting another phone. You could get an lg optimus g lg phones are hard to unlock idk if they have ROMs out for that one yet plus its a quad core if you have the $$$

If you want something simpler and less customization options. Then you need to decide what you need it for. Do you play a lot of games? If so then maybe an iphone is best for you. If not then maybe windows phone is a better option..
But if I were you I wouldn't give up yet because we are on the verge of getting jelly bean. It's a good time for the Hercules!

Hello guys,
Could someone tell me if there is already a windows 8 rom for gio available. I really love windows 8 and i like to have it on my phone. If there isnt, is there a developer with much time left who can make or port this rom?

[Q] galaxy tab 3 8.0 development???

Is there anyone developing for the tab 3 8.0 because I know there are some developers already working on the 7.0 but not the 8.0 and I really want a good ROM like CM10 so I can port over ROMs for this tablet like Paranoid android

But yeah....windows is for windows phones. At least its not for the t989.
So the simple answer to your question is no.
Also, if there was, it would be warez (illegal) and not allowed on xda, cause windows is not open sourced.

No. There are no windows roms for this phone because simply it would take a HUGE amount of work just to get it to boot and also i don't see any point in it. Windows OS has like no apps compared to android....

First this is a development forum and this is a question so it should go into the general or q&a's second porting is not that simple so no not possible

Roms from different manufacture ports are extremely complicated ( and ones that are ported rarely work 100%)and very few have ever been ported due to closed source software for hardware in devices
secondly that is a phone with a way smaller screen then the tab3 5 inch i think? If you could get the rom to work on it you would then spend a wicked amount of time resizing every thing in the rom so it didnt look retarded on the tab and it would still look werid since it was made for a much much smaller screen.
its not impossible if you had the software( sony isnt big on releasing there closed source software samsung another too) just take a lot of weeks, months, maybe years to make a working rom and would never be bug free/ 100%complete so you probably would never end up using it if someone did manage to get it working.......
I m a htc sense fan myself so i know the feeling of wishing for a port. Its just too time consuming and the tab is lacking devs as is we are lucky we got the rom selection we have now..... :-\
