Will these work with Sprint variant? - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Hi, I have looked for a stock sprint battery, and cover, but could not find one, I DO NOT want another slim extended battery from them, they are crap for me. I found these but idk if they will work together on the sprint variant. http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Origi...&sr=1-2&keywords=galaxy+nexus+verizon+battery
http://www.amazon.com/GINOVO-Brushe...&keywords=Cover+Door+For+Samsung+Galaxy+Nexus
Thanks in advance!

I can confirm the Sprint and Verizon are the same. I have a Verizon phone and ordered the Sprint extended battery/backplate.
Fits the same.
I have like 3 standard batteries and several battery doors. $15? PM me.

Just got my sprint gnex today and I am wondering if anybody knows of the highest charge extended battery that doesn't involve replacing the back cover.
Also NFC support is a must.

well there is a 2100 extended battery that comes with a new cover, but you can't even tell the difference and NFC works

Where?
If the Sprint battery is compatible with the Verizon battery then Verizon sells the 2100mAh for $25 at a store.

I don't have one either, but I think what's not compatible (without slight modification) is the Verizon back cover. I think the Verizon OEM battery would work fine on the Sprint device, otherwise.
Would be nice if Sprint launched with their own back cover and extended battery options.

The battery is a little larger than the 1850mah version that comes with the Sprint Galaxy Nexus. However, the back cover doesn't fit perfectly. You'll have to use a nail clipper or something similar to cut off the 2 small plastic nubs to fit the Sprint phone. There is a little bit of a flex on the cover where the nubs were cut, so unless you have a phone case, like a Cruzerlite case, I would not recommend using this battery/back for the Sprint version of the Galaxy Nexus. It's not major though, so it's possible to live with it if you're not really picky about the fit not being perfect.
The original back cover for the 1850mah battery will not fit with the 2100mah battery.

How do i tell if its for my GSM phone or a CDMA phone?
http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=sr_nr_s...:2407758011,k:galaxy+nexus+battery&sort=price
And also is a seperate back needed for a 2000mh battery compared to the stock 1750?
Amazon or eBay.

Look at the model number. Verizon is i515 or something and GSM is 9250 and if it says lte its Verizon. I got two 2050 mh batteries and a wall battery charger for around $25 on amazon. They fit like the stock battery.

I've been looking for a battery as well. I tried Amazon and found some good prices but I couldn't find one that supports NFC. I found a battery from Mugen that does but they're out of stock.

Verizon is i515 and the battery is blue and more "square". GSM is i9250 and the battery is black and more "rectangle". You do need the extended battery cover. Most legit Samsung batteries + covers are ~$35 on eBay. Get a legitimate one.

SG3 battery in GNex?

Hi,
I have searched but didn't find any information, and for good reasons... They former hasn't launched globally yet.
Would it be possible to use a SG3 battery in GNex? I understand the GNex is a smaller device, but could have same battery compartment as SG3?
Anyone tried? If it's possible, imagine the battery benefits... But me thinks Sammy is a little smarter than that
Thanks!

Why not just buy an extended battery.. basically the same capacity and a guaranteed fit.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
Just buy the GNex extended battery...
I wanted to get the Verizon one since it's pretty much OEM quality, but cannot ship to Canada...
I prefer to stick with OEM, which is why I am wondering if a battery swap could work... Hmmm

The Verizon battery won't even fit in your phone.

Verizon battery won't fit. The Samsung extended battery for the GSM model is OEM.
Where can I obtain the Samsung extended battery for GSM?
What's the capacity?
I am still interested in seeing if anyone had luck using SG3 battery in GNex...
Thanks

Samsung one is 2050mAh
It won't make a difference. Just buy a battery that is guaranteed to work.

They're all over eBay from Korean sellers, about $30-$35 right now including a new back cover (you need it).
The SGSIII one won't fit. Just buy the 2000mAh Samsung GNex one.
Just Google Samsung Galaxy Nexus OEM extended battery..
The vzw one won't fit.. you could always just buy a after market battery with the same mAh tho

Except aftermarket ones don't have the same MAh.

Are the verizon GNex accessories the same as the Sprint Gnex accessories?

I am possibly interested in buying the sprint Gnex. I was wondering if the accessories are the same on both sprint and verizon? Especially the extended batteries (i'm interested in the 3800 MAH ones)? Thanks!
I would imagine it would. Can't imagine it wouldn't work honestly.

I was able to install a sprint extended battery I got free from sprint into my Verizon galaxy nexus with no problem. It fit even with my original Verizon back plate.

I think Sprint gives away free 2100mAh batteries for Galaxy Nexus. I got mine for free shipping too. Didn't pay a dime. Loaded it up on my Verizon GN and all is well.
These are for the Verizon/Sprint models. The GSM versions are different. How much you looking for.
