[REQ] Samsung JPY Contacts App

Can anyone share the stock contacts app from JPY Rom..Thanks in advance

wont work in another rom as it needs to be de-odexed which it is not in stock jpy.

I am currently in Darky's JPY Rom.. I want to replace with stock Contacts App. The Photos of contacts are messed up in it . If you have the apk please share.

here are both the .apk and the .odex you will need both.. unzip and install with root explorer.. (by copying into /system/app) (make sure you have enough space in /system first.

goto samfirmware.com and download xxjpy

U think i dont have... I have JPY JPX.. But the files cannot be opened unless i flash in my phone. I have windows only.. The files inside are factory.rfs etc.

Bit of research needed if you want to open files .
Can be done or find an older ROM with the originals in and open with zip program .

Hi ..I had seen the earlier link but they are not from JPY ROM...

1. Open .rfs files with Magic ISO
2. Deodex

(Tutorial) How to change bootsound in Stock ROM

hi All,
i just wana share to all how to change bootsound in our Stock ROM. Your phone must be rooted.
1. Choose your any short music (~8sec) and convert it to ogg format in your PC. Save it as 'poweron.ogg' and copy to your sd.
2. go to root. Look for folder 'etc'. Use root explorer or file expert. Change permission to r/w first.
3.Find file named 'poweron.ogg'. Rename it as 'poweron.ogg.bak' so that you wont overwrite the original sound. Copy the audio file you created before and paste in here. put permission as r/w r- r-
4.Reboot your phone. Your new music will play nicely. Enjoy..

[REQ] original s3 mini bootanimation.zip

Hi there! Does someone have the s3 mini bootanimation as a .zip so i can move it to system/Media?
I dont want to disable custom bootanimations, but all i've tested really sucked.

QMG file format is a proprietary format. The encoding tool, decoder library are also proprietary. I don't think it's possible to convert to .zip

Not sure if possible but is the shutdown one the same ?

Shutdown is also .qmg, yes.

Deleting any bootanimation.zip from system/media should restore original

Hi guys .. I have LG G3 d855.. Recently i installed camera of G4 ...
Now i want my camera back and i dont have the lib fllder because i overwrited it when i put the libs of G4 camer a
Please smb put a link or share the folder

Ii's simple
Go to /system/priv-app with a file manager like es file explorer, then zip "LGCameraApp" and send it here. It is simple and you don't need to root your phone. Thanks!

Hii ppl its yash manwani,
im here with note 7 boot animation for grand prime or any other device
steps to install:
1. download and extract file and paste all qmg files in
SYSTEM/MEDIA
And set permissions to r-w-r-r
2. go bck to file then to audio folder and copy both .ogg sound files......
and paste it to SYSTEM/MEDIA/AUDIO/UI
set permissions to r-w-r-r

After you flashed it then automatically it will be default .
If you want to restore previous boot animation then you need to replace all the files of the flash zip with stock one.

Very nice love it

The splash screen is now missing so it sits with a blank screen for a while before fully booting up. Anyway to add a new splashscreen to replace the old TracFone image?
