Case mate case

I am looking to buy the case mate pop case but don't want to wait 5 days if I order online. Do any actual stores that I can visit sell the case? Thanks

One thing to keep in mind with that case is the micro USB cable that comes with the phone doesn't fit with that case on. My store sells them, try a vzw premium retailer (not corporate)

Thank you, I am using a verizon charger that i bought so it fits. I currently have the white one but I prefer black because I am a guy.

I called all of the local private retailers and none if them had it. Any suggestions?

Went to two verizon stores and bestbuy today... you'd think this phone hasn't been released yet. There is no sign of it. Same went for the wireless zone premium verizon retailer i bought it at. Needless to say there were no cases either.

I know, its horrible because of how much of a good phone this is.

Do you own the case? All my chargers work with the Pop case and ext battery except for one aftermarket usb cable, an older Verizon car charger is a snug fit but it actually guides it in perfectly.

FSRBIKER, the case fits with the extended battery/cover on LTE version?
could you post pics?

how the heck do you remove the case-mate pop?
It seems impossible to take off once put on.

I have the Lte version w/Vzw extended battery and have them installed on both my wife's and mine. She is out so no pics but not sure what you want to see, it just fits. Definetly makes the phone feel stronger as well. $16 at www.thecellguru.com

You may want to break your drill and punch a hole in the upper right back for the second microphone. That is what I ended up doing.
Case-mate should also have new cases with the hole opened by next month.

Poetic revolution case

Rumor has it that preorder will start tomorrow and the case will be available in about a month.
I have one of these for my original nexus 7 and its really good for the price. Just figured I'd pass on the info.

Im gonna have to pass. I made the mistake of buying the Slimline for my OG N7 and it was terrible. Left marks on the screen and practically fell apart. And I hardly even used the flippin case. Only put it on when I was traveling about. I had it for about 5 months, and by the 4rth month it was already fraying at the edges.

I had the same problems with the slim case. I have had the revolution for my nexus 7 for a long time and it's in Greddy shape.
BTW the new case is on amazon now for $20

FYI, Amazon Just Dropped the Price on this Cae Its now Only $14.99 Free Shipping! , BTW I pre-Ordered Both The Revolution and the Slimline, heck for $20 shipped on both, its bang for buck, I've had Poetic in the past, Quality is not the best but not the worst either;for me it's enough; I'm really careful with my devices I'll bet they'll last me!
PS. I trust My N4 with a Poetic Atmosphere.

As far as the cases go I really, really like the one that I have for my nexus 7. I was looking for a defender case but I wasn't about to spend $70 on one. I haven't really been happy with defender cases lately anyways. After buying one for my note 2 I'll never buy one again.
The revolution case is defender like, can be had for less than half the cost and the button press is easy and it feels good in hand. I bought one of the first runs and it had the blurry screen protector. I contacted poetic and they sent me two replacements..... It took a month or so to get them made amnd to me but they made good. While I was waiting I just knocked the one out and installed a stock on one on the screen.
Anyways ever since I got the new front its been on, clear and nice and I don't think twice about letting my toddler use the tablet.

Awesome. I just checked my shipment and it looks like it was just shipped 12 hours ago even tho I got a email from amazon saying it shipped before that. Kinda bummed, I've been waiting a long time for this case. I've actually been using my old nexus 7 all the time just because I like the way it feels in my hand with the case on.

Ordered one of these myself. Looked very decent. Been looking for something that has decent protection as my kids broke the screen on my first generation that I'm still trying to figure out what to do with. Estimated delivery date is Monday, however I'm doubtful as the tracking days it's been in San Francisco since the 19th.

Is anybody else's screen protector very cloudy? Mine is cloudy and has specs that kind of look like a screen protector placed on a dirty screen. This is the screen protector however, and not the screen being dirty.

Make sure you removed the plastic protector film on the outside as well as the inside of the built in screen protector.

Much better thank you. It was the inside cover that I didn't know was there. There is some distortion, giving a rainbow like look, but that's something I expect I guess from a screen protector that is not adhesively bonded.

That rainbow effect never goes away either. My original nex7 case still has it. It's not bad once the screen turns on.
This case is way better than the original case. only thing I don't like is the horizontal stand, it leans back farther than the original nexus 7 case.

I received mine, left bad review on Amazon, seller said "sorry" and refunded my $2.99 (no return required) Now staying with MoKo (overall - not bad, 7 points by 10 scale), waiting for Poetic Slimline case...

For the money it's not that bad. Mine is well made and the smell went away after a few days. I have two Roocases....the slim folio and the dual view.

Portrait view mode fails. I tired to get mine to work properly in portrait view and it would not work. It kept slipping down.

Too cheap, bad made, bad leather imitation, too thick, device doesn't fit well, stupid "addons" such as sd-card holders (for the card-less device!), ugly pen/stylus. And (as I've said) it smells like a "cancer greeting from China" - awful!

It was/is a decent cheap $3.00 case that I could get quickly. Serves the purpose until I convince myself to get ta Portenzo case.

I actually just got my case in the mail and I'm pretty happy with it! It does smell funny and the camera hole doesn't match up with the camera perfectly but for three bucks I'll live with it. I also add two pieces of velcro so I can have it in portrait mode without sliding.

I agree that its not a bad case for $3. Good first case while waiting for other better ones to come out, the smell also does go away.

For an offical case it's not pricey. Take the flip cover for the note 8. It's 50 dollars. Every offical case out there is double what the aftermarket ones are. If not more. I'm buying because it's the offical case so I'm already expecting a premium.

I just found out this case doesn't support auto wake/sleep feature
I mean come on Asus!!! for a $40 case you couldn't add a piece of magnet!!!
This case and the travel case are both just big fails. Although I don't mind getting ripped off on OIM cases but at least I want to get a "premium" case.

They dont have the patent on that feature, therefore they can not use it without a hefty lawsuit from apple

Was just about to post a link here for this case. I tried to official premium case and it didn't fit. I must say, the "origami" flip cover is awesome & reminds me of the Asus TFP origami cover, AND it has magnetic wake! I'm sold.
Ordered one and went ahead and got the Poetic case too while I wait for this one. :good:

I can't find any reviews for the RooCase SlimCase Ultra Folio. It is not like the old Roocase where it has the flaps over the screen.
I'm never even seen this case before. Looks really awesome. Is it new?

Can only attach 1 at a time using XDA app. It doesn't appear to be using that faux leather pattern either, which is a huge plus in my book. It just says its matte (soft rubber).

I got my shipping notification finally for the blue one. Delivery date is 19-23rd... like 2 weeks away.

My delivery date was the same. It arrived today. Its a nice case especially for $5. Pretty steady as a stand in both landscape and portrait mode.
