[Q] htc dz just reboot,cant in the recovery mode

please help me
i don't know what is hapend, my htc dz just reboot int htc start wait light and reboot, i have tried in the recovery mode , but i cant get it, so i have with android flasher to flash clock word no chance, i became so a problem that something fail, what i can is just in the fast boot and hboot mode and the info but recovery and fabrikreset no chance, , thanx alot for your help
the device is rooted and s-off

Help ME! :(

My g2 only charges when connected to the computer and i cant sync nothing! I cant look at my files!

How do you expect someone to help you when you don't give any meaninful information?

i supposed you rooted your phone... HTC Sync won't work anymore if you flashed a custom ROM...

ummm i got the phone used i dont know if the previous user rooted it... im on android 2.3.4... should i just factory reset it?

i recommend going to an IRC client, connect to freenode, go to channel #G2ROOT and talk to the guys there... they could help you

You really haven't supplied any useful information, where we could even begin to try to help you.
Have you connected your phone to your computer successfully before, and only recently not working? Did you change anything?

no it has never connected successfully i know what im talking about lol ive rooted a htc hd 2 (other phone dont get confused) before i just cant get it to sync to the computer. It does charge though

Well, apparently you don't know what you're talking about. There is no such thing as rooting on Windows Mobile. You're talking about HardSPL.
Did you install the HTC drivers or HTC Sync?

To find out whether your phone is rooted go into the bootloader (turn phone off, then hold volume down when you power it back on). When the bootloader starts up if it says "S-OFF" at the top of the screen you are rooted. If it says "S-ON" then you are not.

I just want to be the little italian man (mario) i need to insert roms

you could still downgrade with PC10IMG.zip file (download link in rooting guide on wiki). Than it should be working fine - but you loose root!
(last time I was rerooting it took me less than 5 minutes, so it should not be such a big problem )

Try a different computer/USB cable?
Can ADB see your device when it's plugged in?
Are you S-OFF? If so, try flashing a different ROM and see if the problem goes away.
Like others said, too difficult to definitively say what's going wrong without you providing some more information.

i am s off

how do you flash a custom rom, im stupid and cant find it :'( and btw this has to be through an sd card cause i think cant do nothing with my usb :/

do you have root permitions ? if so - download rom manager (at market), at first click on flash clockwork recovery and when its done take "download rom" - choose which one you want to and follow the steps that will rom manager tell you.
otherwise you could (after flashing recovery) put some rom to your sdcard, go to the recovery (power button + volume up; take care to not have pc10img file on your sdcard in that moment) - go to the recovery, wipe data /cache, advanced - wipe battery status / dalvik; back , instal zip - choose zip file with rom - and you are ready to go.

Ace Hack Kit - DHD Start Up Problem After Root

Dear All Gurus,
After trying all the advance ace hack kit, I try to
Load into recovery clockwork to install custom
Rom..my device can't load into hboot..
Then I try to reset my device, by powe off then
On it back, unfortunately my device load HTC
Logo then the screen automatically dim and blank?
Does it mean my device BRICK??

What happened when you ran AAHK? What was the output? Did you try rebooting while holding power+volumedown? What happens when you try to access HBOOT?

It's not brick. Flash stock ROM using SD Card method, and root again...

Thank for the reply bananagranola,
I use the AAHK run all the s-off,goldcard etc etc
Even install the clockwork, it all auto reboot
Then I try to boot into HBOot by pressing volume down + power,
But it won't boot up, the screen just blank ....waited for 10to 20 minutes,
Nothing happen

Thank brooo, for replying. Great to hear that mu device was not brick.. This is my second DHD, got stolen last time. The 1st was so easy to root... Now I got problem doing that... Flash using ad card method. Ok noted, will try to search guide on how to do that....

Ok, that is not a bricked device. That means that something went wrong due to connectivity issues. That is covered in the Effen manual. Reseting your phone was a stupid thing to do. You deleted usb debugging drivers from the phone (also covered in the effen manual). Only solution now is to flash a RUU and start all over again.

Hey! A'm new here (noob) and i have got some problem with my HTC Desire HD.
I tried to root my phone but unfortunately I failed.
I don't know why but it looks like my phone is briked... I cant run system. I tried go to hboot... it worked but i cant recovery and run factory reset.
Its strange but in hboot screen it writes me S-OFF so its look like my phone is rooted.
So when I try to run my phone (normal) HTC logo shows but it slowly turning from white screen with logo into dark. The same effect is when a try schoose recovery or factory reset.
Please help and sorry for my bad english.

So far, you did half of what you did wrong. this subject has been discussed in these forums over and over, so instead of opening a new thread you need to search and read. Factory reset should never be pressed as it deletes the usb debugging drivers, but you probably missed that part.
If you are S-OFF then flash a recovery from fastboot and then a custom rom..or flash a RUU you like. Use the guide in my signature to find out how.

Yes I know this thread is spam but my problem looks diffrent than normal. Bricked android phones got logo showed all the time but my phone after 5 - 7 seconds is turning into black but device is still working.
The problem is that i have really no idea how to do now. When I rooted it how can I install custom ROM?

you don't need root to flash a custom rom. You need S-OFF and a custom recovery. Read the guide.
Fade to black screen means that your PC connectivity failed way through the process and should have been run again from that screen as stated in the manual.

So, what I have to do now? My phone is rooted and what now? But i think I damaged software in my phone because i cant recovery system.

You are not rooted (you need a ROM to be rooted). You are S-OFF with no custom recovery. There is a section in glevitan's guide explicitly for this very issue.

I don't think you're listening the advice above.....
Have you got a recovery installed? Can you boot into it? If you haven't, flash one in hboot.

All the other told you...but I guess you are not very used to hacking HTC devices...if you don't mind, I can do it for you via teamviewer...just let me know. I have a couple of hours left in the office, so let me know.

LeeDrOiD ruined my One X (?)

I used the ClockworkMod to flash LeeDrOiD Xtreme on my HTC One X...
Now it needs about an hour to fully boot and I cant use Wifi or mobile network and now I NEED YOUR HELP!!!1one1!
So I need to fix my phone and...
I can't ude adp - it doesn't find my phone
I can't access the storage - When I connect the USB i can only select "charge only"
have the ClockworkMod installed and can still access it
when I select "factory reset" in my bootloaderit only starts Clockwork
I don't have a working Backup
When I use this stable RUU istaller thing when LeeDrOiD is bootet it says phone not found
Iwhen I use it in fastboot it shows "HTC" on my phone, but doesn't start load and the installer throws an error at me
I have NO IDEA if I can still talk to my phone through fastboot.exe and I'm afraid to try it
Please help me - I'm crying right now :'(
I want to:
get my android factory reset
OR
get LeeDrOiD running my phone as a phone (with wifi, network, i'm just noticing I havent tried GPS)
(or another custom rom: jellybean, htc sence, good performance, long battery life, etc)

you can go into recovery and connect to your pc recovery/moun and storage/mount usb storage
just add a new rom/zip file into the phone...in recovery install zip from sdcard clear the cache and dalvik cache in recovery/reboot
