Hi guys,
I purchased note 2 on on ebay UK and the seller did not mention anything about version but now i see its note 2 LTE 4g version . I see that most custom ROMS are there for international version n7100. Is there any way to convert Korean version into n7100 to get advantage of most custom ROMS? Which one is better? i see that mine have got 32 gb internal memory and is LTE 4g any useful in uk?
I will also apprecaite if someone guide me root procedure and install CMW recovery for this version

No there isn't an easy way to convert your phone into an n7100.Internal hardware is a bit different and that makes all the difference.

Its stupid for samsung to release so many versions of same device with almost same specifications and call all of them as note 2..why korean cannot use same note 2 which people use in uk and rest of the world
Is there any way to root this korean model and install cmw and get rid of koreans apps

if you have the lte/4g model, you could try the custom roms for the N7105
i think i have a t-mobile version myself but flashing the roms marked for "t0lte" (international unbranded version) work flawlessly for me

Yea its 4g LTE but korean model no is E25OS instead of N7105
Which one is expensive LTE versiom or non LTE

Mr. Rajaasim 1980, are your problems solve with regards to the rooting of your note 2 korean version shv e250s?, I use to have that same version and I successfully rooted it and install cwm by using cf root.

i have galaxy note 2 4G LTE korean version is SHV-E250S and i have android 4.12 can i change this in 4.2 or 4.3 ? someone can help me pls with tutorial how can i this step by step thanks I'm in europe

You can change to 4.2 or 4.3 but the boot.img must be changed too. If not, your phone will get boot lop. My phone is E250S too and i use Deadman DMB6 Rom with SJkoon kernel V1.83, don't change baseband version, if not your phone doesn't has signal for calling. SJkoon kernels don't support 4.3 now so we have to wait.

You can change and you need to flash boot covertor after flaahing any 4.2/4.3 cm/aosp custom ROM for N7105

Yea you can use any Aosp/CM/aokp rom made for N7105 but you will need to flash boot convertor after flashing ROM

download the official 4.3 jelly bean firmware through ota, go to settings, about device, then software update, i used to update my galaxy note 2 shv-e250s from 4.1.2 to 4.3 here in the Philippines.

my friend changed his phone in brick after flashing i7000 rom
You can flash 7100 on 7105 HOWEVER you'll need to do some modifying of system files
[HOWTO] Port N7100 ROMs to I317 and N7105
Check out this thread from teh AT&T forums. It'll apply the same in regards to libs, etc files
Also you'll likely need to replace the boot.img/kernel with one for the n7105 and remove any modem from the ROM zip as that would be a way to brick your device

You can manually download and flash from sammobile if your device rooted. Or else
Just wait for OTA.

I want to wait for the OTA but I don't know if the update will even release to my note 2. If you guys could find me a list of the update that will come depending on the country.
Try to update via kies.
Ota doesn't always show latest updates.
Also if you still can't get update, just dial *#1234# and take a pic of the screen and then upload it here.

i had same problem; but i have my note 2 updated with this guide; http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2088809 try this dont wait or use odin.

But I have never rooted my note 2 or installed a costum rom. So why is this needed?
Is mean for rooted phone but you can still update your stock phones with this guide. Am Thursdays i have buy my new n7100 but no update when i check update . with this guide i have updated my phone to germany dbt 4.1.2 you can try or not.

Yes screenshot suggests your ROM is UAE(or one of gulf country), and that is latest for UAE.
If UAE is not your home country then better flash a ROM from your home land, which give you better language and play store support
Download latest ROM from below mentioned thread and flash using Odin, all the instruction available in OP

on my Galaxy Note II GT-N7100 that has the original stock rom from Thai's vendor.
While I've done a lot of flashing rom on the 1st Note GT-N7000 and there's this kind of rooted stock rom release with all variation of rom including Thailand version so I just feel safe and flash it away with odin without problem.
but Note II forum have splitted into 4 version of American's vendor. And I found this thread of stock injected rom with some of different vendor, Now I'm not sure if there's any different in hardware of my phone and those vendor. Because there's no LTE in Thailand and I don't know if this function's include on the phone or not. or if there's any other of hardware's different.
So my question is does my Note II and any other GT-7100 from different vendor are the same model? Is it safe to using available rom or root method from this forum on my phone? or if not, where's the right place for me to find more information of my "international" version of Note II?
The tmobile version shares more similarities with the N7105 than the N7100. You cannot flash tmobile based ROMs on your phone. The correct forum for you is

There are very few ROMS available for the N7105. Would the N7100 ROMs work? I assume I would surely lose LTE, but that is not an issue for me. I have no LTE anyway.
Try at&t version threads. Currently im using jedi rom on the at&t version and my orginal phone model is n7105. Be sure to make a backup of your phone. And download the necessary csc files just in case.
