I used DashClock for a lockscreen widget and it has to be expanded everytime I want to use it. Is there anyway in a rooted Vanilla 4.2 to do this? I have read that the nexus 7 has this by default so there must be a way. Whatever code it has to do this I assume can be ported to my G'Nex running same OS.

Is it possible to add a widget to the stock lockscreen without using a program that doeant allow you to keep your existing slider? I know with widget locker you have to use one of their sliders, but I'm running Myn's RL4 and I really want to keep the slider that comes with that rom. I really only want the Battstatt widget on my lockscreen. Is this something that's impossible?
Thanks
I'm running SlimBean 4.2.1 RC2 and I am wondering if it is possible to remove the clock from the lockscreen. I just want it to be transparent with a pattern lock and have my homescreen clock widget show throw. Unfortunately, the lockscreen clock is blocking it. Is this possible? Thanks for any help.
I was wonder if there's any way to possibly hide the clock that's in the status bar when only on the lockscreen, so that there is only one clock (the larger lockscreen clock), kind of like on AOSP? I've been doing a lot of research, but haven't come across any setting or modification to allow this.
I'm running Android Revolution HD 18.2, and am running the stock kernel.
You can install a lockscreen replacement app that can hide the entire notification bar for you. WidgetLocker comes to mind.
I have installed Nova launcher and also tried Apex launcher. Programs are good. I have modified it so I have 7 icons in my dock area, but when I go to unlock my phone, on the lock screen it still has the default 5 icons. Is there any way to have the modified 7 icons show up on the lock screen?
thx
I have the HTC One m8? latest version of kitkat
Is this not possible?
I know we can change the shortcuts, but I found a great icon pack I applied to my homescreen and drawer, but I'd love to apply it to the lockscreen as well. Any ideas? I'd like to stay with the stock lockscreen if possible but I'm open to trying other lockscreens as long as they work with fingerprint unlock. TIA!
