[Q] Just rooted my phone. Wallpaper resets to default after unlocking. - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note II

I rooted my phone using option two from this post and everything went great. Only issue I have is that regardless of how I set my wallpaper for home/lock screens, as soon as I unlock the phone, it resets to the default (white feather on blue background) picture. If I change the wallpaper and shut the phone down, it boots with the correct wallpaper. As soon as I unlock it though, it changes. Any ideas? I can't find much on this when I search.
EDIT: It was Clean Master's auto-kill. All good.

[Q] Lock screen pops up when using notification menu

I keep seeing my lockscreen wallpaper image for a split second when I follow links from the notifications list.
It's intermittent but often enough that it's starting to bug me. Sometimes the screen flashes to the main screen, then the lock screen, then the app. This occurs regardless of what background image I use, where it's stored and whether I have No Lock installed or active.
I'm rooted running bone stock ATT 4.1.1 ROM. I removed Wallpaper Wizardrii just in case. I also found an old thread that mentioned resetting after selecting lockscreen wallpaper, that didn't work - nor did tinkering with developer options (screen updates and strict mode). Both of those are off.
Any help would be much appreciated! I see several threads about this, but nothing seems to resolve it that I've seen suggested.

Black wallpaper after opening with S View Auto Unlock & GNL?

Anyone else getting this? I get it almost every time with Google Now Launcher.
If I have Auto Unlock enabled, and flip the case open, I am presented with all my beautiful big icons over a black wallpaper. Flipping left to google now and back right to the home screen refreshes the wallpaper.
Had to turn off the Auto Unlock feature for the time being. I seem to remember this happening in TW, too. Wondering if anyone else gets this issue?

[Q] Lock sceen pic keeps disappearing

Per the title, occasionally, my lock screen wallpaper simply disappears to leave a black background. On one occasion the pic reappeared on its own but normally it takes a restart to rectify. My phone is not rooted. Any ideas on this ?
same issue here.
Is the pic located on your phone memory or SD card? Are you using a lock screen app or stock lock screen? Aftermarket launcher?
Using stock lock screen. Ive had this happen with pics on device and on SD card
Refreshing thread. I could not find any info around and currently experiencing same issue on:
NOTE 4, stock ROM, stock lock screen, KitKat 4.4.4, Nova launcher, pic. both on SD and device. Lock screen pic. disappear randomly turning into black. Lock screen settings:
- Swipe with popping colours - when on home WiFi
- PIN when on 3G
Settings applied via Tasker. Worked well on NOTE 3, KK 4.4.4.
So far tried:
- Clearing gallery cache - does not work
- Setting a different pic. through settings - does not work
- Restarting the device - works for some time until it goes black again...

Pixel 2 XL blank bootup lockscreen when using stock live wallpaper

When I updated my Pixel 2 XL to the official Android Pie update I noticed that when I choose the "dark" device theme and then I choose a live wallpaper, when i reboot my phone the initial lock screen pops up with a blank screen (only the live wallpaper shows, with no time, no nav bar fingerprint icon, no status bar info). If i have a pending notification before i reboot the phone then it will boot up and the notification will negate the blank lock screen glitch. If i then choose a "light" theme and choose any live wallpaper then it boots up with the normal lock screen. Also, when I choose any other non-live wallpaper with the "dark" theme enabled then it will boot up with the normal lock screen as well. With the blank lock screen touch is disabled on the blank screen, however, if I access the notification shade then it will negate the glitch and pop up all the normal lock screen info. Also, with the blank lock screen, the power button and volume rocker pops up all the appropriate info and they are touch accessible. Ive tried factory resetting the phone, flashing the old Android Oreo image and updated to Pie via OTA and the issue still persists. Does anyone else have this issue? Does anyone know what app governs the device theme? Any suggestions on how to fix this? thanks
I had the same problem this morning. I changed to one of the stock live wallpapers last night and when I powered on my phone it would boot and where I was expecting to enter my PIN the screen was just black and could not get any response. I could hold the power button and the power options would pop up. I left it alone for my 30 minute drive to work and I was finally able to unlock the phone. I switched back to my stock solid color (black) wallpaper and the problems seem to have stopped.
Same here with the live Earth wallpaper. If I touch the fingerprint sensor it shows the unlock pattern UI which let's me unlock it successfully.
