[Q] Screen texts shaky/wave

Dear all, I just rooted my desire with unrevoked, updated the radio with latest 32.49.00.32U 5.11.05.27 and flashed CM 6.1 RC 2.
My question is why everytime I scroll up & down the texts on screen moves/shakes or waves or something like that
At first I thought it was some kinda animation effect and tried to turn it off, but no luck Please help. Thanks in advance.

Apparently the problem called screen tearing and it's been resolved by using nightly
build#201 ROM.

[Q][HELP] Incoming and sending calls

Hey ive currently started receiving an issue where my phone screen turns off when you ring someone or receive a call, its like it automatically senses something touching it as if it was on my ear.
I've reformatted and tried it with cm7 nightly it worked but now its doing the same thing.
Also the initial HTC screen freezes whenever i try and boot into the recovery.

what radio and/or kernel did you flash prior or did you have this problem fresh-out-of-the-box?

I didnt flash a kernel or radio, prior to installing the new cm7 nightly, i had the cm 6 stable
plus i tried to install gapps a numerous amount of times and it still wont install my market :/

[Q] 2G/3G & Alarm clock turns off intermittently on several ROMs

Hello all,
Since a few months I have the problem that my 2G/3G seems to loose connection every now and again.
I used to use MildWild Oxygen 4.0 which was one of the most stable ROMS I ever tried
After that I tried
- several AOKP 4.0.4 ROMS
- the latest couple of versions of Sandvolk's ICS ROM
On all of these I had several problems with 2g/3g turning off every now and again, recently also the alarm clock stopped (or changing time, which i found very bizarre).
Now I re-flashed my NAND backup of MildWild 4.0, and I have the same problem.
Any idea what that might be?
I am using the latest radio version and the data++ HBoot, if that helps.

Ok - that seem to be 2 different problems.
The problems on Mild Wild and the alarm clock seems to be linked to enabling app2SD without wiping the ext partition up front. wiping and/or disabling app2sd solved the problem.
However, the 2G/3G loss on the ICS ROMS seems to persist.
I installed the latest sandvolks recently from scratch (0.13.1) and I had exactly the same problem.
2G/3G seems functional, but no internet connection possible.
Switching flight mode on/off several times helps every now and again, but also not consistently.
I am on the latest radio version, so I don't think it's that either.
Maybe a known bug to the ROM?
Any sort of help is highly apreciated

[Q] Bizzare bootloop issue

Hey all, having a very odd issue here. I flashed Flinny's 4.2.1 AOSP rom a few days ago, worked absolutely perfectly, today when I turned the radio to use 2g for an app I was testing then rebooted it just bootloops constantly. I have tried wiping/flashing the same rom again, a build of CM10 and another rom in the forum (a sense build), same issue on all, it boots to the welcome screen on AOSP and CM10, and to the home screen on the other rom, then just reboots. I flashed AOSP again without gaps and managed to get to the home screen, I enabled aeroplane mode and it is absolutely fine (as in it doesnt reboot), then if I enable a data connection it just reboots as it had been doing.
Anyone else experienced this as I cant really pin it down to be anything other than a radio issue, even though I have not changed radio image.

[Q] OTA 4.3 Stock Alarm issue

Hi,
Just updated OTA to 4.3 and so far, although no root...loving it.
However, the alarm app has been updated and although it probably helps more people now I don't like it. The camera flash goes off, along with the sound and vibration.
How do i disable the camera flash while the alarm is going on? searching flash alarm doesn't help on when flash appears for roms/bootloaders etc.
