I heard that XS and XSL is exactly the same, just the system ia overclocked to 1.7 GHz. But they both have the same kernel.
Does that mean, if i have XS, and i flash XSL stock ROM, then i have a Xperia SL?
Just curious..
Thanks

But whats the the point of getting SL Rom if its all the same and point of overclocked kernel?? Other than getting some good benchmark points its pointless.. But if you still want to overclock your phone go to development section and flash one of the kernels build for stock ics

I mean, even in locked bootloader i can flash XSL Stock ROM and get overclocked.
Cause to install costum Kernel i have to unlock the bootloader.
And i still dont want to unlock it.
Soooo, with installing stock XSL ROM i can get overclocked kernel without unlock it

You won't really need to overclock... Xperia S runs smooth. You can change your build.prop to LT26ii if that satisfy you..

LOL i dont want the build prop,
i want XSL Kernel xD

WHY? Just why would you want a SL kernel if a custom S kernel can take you even as high as 2 GHz!?
Anyways, your bootloader is locked, so I don't believe you even CAN flash a kernel other than the stock LT26i one...

Hi Henry, thanks for the patch.
Is this patch for the German FTF, because when I applied it I keep getting a bootloop and had to restore my system.
Any ideas?

Try looking in the FTF mega collection thread in the general section. Its a sticky thread so always at the top...
I have Z1 Compact and I just downloaded the rom 14.4.A.0.118 Z1 DE with this thread.
Then, with the same thread pulled 14.4.A.0.118 deodex patch.
Using Flashtoola i flashed rom. Of course not activated.
So I started again Flashtool and i flashed only the kernel but from the rom 108.
Phone launched on the new ROM. With this, the resolution was too large. This of Z1.
I thought to myself, it's nothing. I got this board because I have a special patch on
[Patch] for Z1 stock based ROMs cutom it wor ... | Xperia Z1 Compact | XDA Forum
and later it yourself I flashed and improves the resolution. I have often done that.
I rooted it with the Z1 root.
Then I turned off the phone and ran again in CWM and I flashed Patch Deodex 118
And here sneezes! From that moment bootloop. I suspect that this patch deodex is kicked or I doing something wrong
Maybe someone knows what remedy?
Is there an Patch available? Or not
