As per the topic, does the S4 mini support SAFE? According to Samsung's website, only the S3, S4, Note2 and Note 8/10.1 are listed.
Thanks.
Glaxy S4 mini supports KNOX, ODE, EAS, MDM, VPN, CCX which are less or more features defining SAFE.

Thanks Vierko. Do you have any source/reference for that? I could not find any literature that lists devices other than the S4/S3, Note2, Note8 and Note 10.1 for SAFE/KNOX.
Also, what about the Galaxy S4 Activ?
Thanks again.
No official reference, sorry. S4 active is almost pure S4 and also is not listed. I think it's a marketing trick to list only top devices as SAFE. But all of these support enterprise solutions like exchange active synchronization, encrypting phone & storage, vpn, knox, etc. And are using the SAFE Framework.

Can users of Note8 and either Note10.1(original)/Note2 confirm if the version of S Note is the same? The 2014 edition note10.1 and note3 both aren't compatible with previous versions. Also there are many features missing from the app which I found useful (studying mathematics and the formula search feature in original s note was far superior).
I'm returning my note10.1 2014 for said reason and need to decide to go note10.1 or note8.
Also is there many good custom rom with s pen support? I notice omega do not do note8.
Thanks in advance.
Do i need to worry about KNOX on my Tab 3 8.0?
My S4 is rooted and customised and I think I'd like to start doing the same on my Tab 3 or actually my plan would be to turn the S4 back to stock before flagging 0x1 in KNOX and then using my Tab 3 for all my rooting and customizing
What do you think? Will Samsung ever release KNOX on the Tab 3? Would they have anything to gain from deploying it?

they wont, the tab 8 is a budget device and geared at home users, hell they havent even added a binary count to it.
Perfect, excellent for modding then
The Tab 3 line was supposedly mentioned in a leaked KNOX document late last year, which also hinted at them receiving 4.4 KitKat update, KNOX might be added if/when that arrives (also only if you choose to update), right now it's all just rumors at the moment.

I see all kinds of tips/tricks in the forums for various Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini versions, but mostly the GT-I9190/2/5s. Unfortunately (or not), mine is a SPH-L520. What is the difference between these various versions, and will rooting/flashing process/procedures for one version work on another? Thanks.

Hello!
SPH-L520 is the S4 Mini Sprint version
SCH-I435 is the S4 Mini Verizon version
This means that your device have Sprint Kernel, Sprint System, Sprint everything
The rooting/flashing procedure is very different on those devices.. I don't know why, but is different.
I hope this help you.

Should we wait before buying the GearVR? Or would the ones on the Samsung website eventually work for Verizon Note 4's?
Well that's upsetting seeing how i purchased one and missed that little tid bit but i suppose ill just be holding onto it until it is supported or find anyway around it.

I just thought that bit of information was strange > _ <;; Hopefully it will work by the time you get it though o:
I guess I'm just hoping the incompatibility is in the software and not in the hardware but I'll find out I suppose when it arrives
Looks to be an update needed. I don't know where that puts me ,I have de version, and don't get updates. I'll have to wait and see if we can do the update ourselves or something

Hello
I am on SM-910V running 5.1.1 rooted/unlocked bootloader/ twrp installed and wanted to know if the SM-R320NPWSXAR is now compatible with Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 4.
I like the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 when it comes to hardware, it is a well made tablet. But I want to switch the ROM on it for a more privacy-friendly ROM. I do not want to use GAPPs. Initially and preferably I would like LineageOS but as of now it seems LineageOS is not officially supporting this device and for those who tried it has said it is buggy. Are there any good ROMs out there that support the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 that do not need GAPPs and is privacy-friendly. No tracking and open source?
Bumping this as I am in the same situation wondering the same thing. No one has any answers?
It seems the answer for this is no. Not really any custom support for this, unlike with the Tab S3.
