Ok thanks sorry about that ... not sure why other keyboards would effect anything but worth a shot...ill do some testing to see if i can get an error to see why its happening... but i tested muti times b4 posting and even had a few buddies test it...I do have another way if you cant get it going but you will need a functioning ASOP stock keyboard installed to modify. Worse case...and if you really want it...:good:
If anyone else is having FC issues PLEASE report so i can find out what the issue is...THANKS

Its set up properly. I tried flashing it, now it force closes on swype. Long press works fine. When I previously extracted and installed, it showed the gesture trail but there was no output of letters. Long press also worked fine. I really don't care as I don't use swype.

Ya I went ahead and uninstalled it. Extracted again to install. No force close now just no swype. Its nicer if swype just doesn't work rather than having it force close. No plan on moving away from stock anytime soon. My N4 is for flashing custom ROMs.
Edit: would it be an odex vs. Deodex issue? Or a permissions thing. I can play around with it later off to the vet now.

Oh I know all about you buddy. The first mod I did was soft keys mod. Thanks for this though. I normally have to flash a custom. ROM and run a theme to change my keyboard. I can't stand stock soft keys or stock look keyboard. I appreciate all your work man.

Yes indeed!!! but one thing I forgot to mention in my post earlier if for some reason any one trying this rom gets any FC's then please pass the log_cat my way. There are many apps in the play market that will let you review and export the log_cat. I will gather them (if applicable) and send them to Hell for possible resolution. I dont have any myself to send him that he isnt aware of with the G2X version of this ROM. But none the less if so then post them here or PM them to me. Thanks in advance. oh and also before anyone who isn't familiar asks and doesn't know since again this came from the g2x; The small bar at the top of your screen that decreases over time is an app. its called T.E.A.M. battery bar...
having trouble flashing... here is my ghetto screenshot... tried to redownload it twice and once to a different computer and transferred it over... tried renaming it... tried swearing at it... next I will try voodoo unless anyone else has any suggestions...
EDIT!! Never mind! I am an idiot. I figured, for ****s and giggles I am going to boot it up to see what happens... loaded fine...

For what it is worth, apparently the "Cannot load volume /misc" error message is quite common with TWRP. See the thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1547174
The advice given is that it is "normal" and doesn't affect the install.
Having just rooted myself and not having installed any ROMs yet, I can't verify that.
Works Awesome! Looks great just as HellFire should look! Can't wait for more work on this rom and from Hell!

Its fantastic as of now, the only thing I'm disappointed in is I wish there was a way to enable a menu button. I'd like to change the keys too but that's fine if I was able to use a menu button. Other than that rock solid rom, battery is great too.

Is it all mashed together so that you can't slide to pick an option? If so then it has to do with the inverted GApps. All you need to do is take a Phone.apk (just any normal non-inverted one) from another rom and place it in /system/app and that should fix the problem.

That makes me nervous about this rom working for me or not. Does it also show you as roaming? I had that problem with ICS where I could only use 3 or 4 different roms and the rest would show that I was roaming. Never could find out why and only a couple other people even had the problem. Luckily once Jelly Bean came along I haven't had any issues *knock on wood*

Could you plz tell me what you did, what build you are using? It works just fine for me and its confirmed to be working on 2 other n7s too. PLZ go into your settings and under system take a look at navigation bar. There are options for the nav buttons
It looks sick! I'll give it a shot on my N7 too!

Looks clean, going to install PD just to try this out.
I'm running the latest PA with faux008. I'm at work right now and I'll try when I get home in a few hours.
I just flashed it in cwm then I noticed I couldn't get to my homescreen or whatever.
Actually I flashed it through rom manager and had all options checked.

OK so I redownloaded the zip file then did a clean wipe of everything then installed the theme. The nav bar is fine but I don't have the wallpaper and that clock in the middle. I didn't notice if I had it the first time since I wasn't able to get to my homescreen the first time. After going through the start up with setting up WiFi and restoring my Google account I get a green leafy looking wallpaper. Am I doing something wrong? It feels like I am or I'm missing a step since it's like I'm the only one having a problem.

Nice looking theme! Exactly what have been searching for
Right now I'm running AOKP and would like to ask one question before flashing PA for this theme
How does the menu button react when the work space is set to tablet? In stock PA it's enabled within the recent menu button, which in other themes caused an overlapping of the 3-dot menu button with the custom recent menu button. Since you use custom navigation button I just wanted to make sure
If it's overlapping, then I'm gonna ask the user who made the menu button mod (if I'm not mistaken Thyrus) how he did it so I can port it to the N7 and use your amazing theme

Well I havent tried^^ I will when I get back home, but the overlapping isnt something that causes errors. Its supposed to be this way. Moles made it so, that if you longpress the recents button you will get access to the menu.
I havent changed the 3 dot button, but I will in the next release, so that it wont be some ugly overlapping, but it will appeal to the recents button
I just got a nexus 7 couple days ago thinking about putting paranoid on it. Looks good

Just finished flashing PA and going to flash your theme
Yes I'm aware that overlapping does not affect the function of long-pressing to menu, was just checking about the cosmetic looks but glad that you will take it into consideration
Thanks again sir and have a nice day
whoops sry totaly forgot about the wallpaper:
just updated PD to 2.1^^
flashing right away, thanks for your work.
Ok, this is a beta of my latest idea, a clean and white theme. Once it exits beta, i'll remove the dropbox link and update this with a free link to the play store.

Looks great but the navigation bar is blacked out. The icons switch to black however the background stays black. I have rebooted, switched back to system, and re-applied but am still having the issue.
Thanks!

Your ROM might not have it enabled to be themed, or I might have forgotten to add the AOKP redirect. I'll take a look

In that case I can fix it. Easy fix, so I'll post a new link later tonight after the kids are in bed.

Should be fixed now. Also updated a few other small things.
I am running PA, but my nav bar is still black on black.
I think you might run into at least a few apps that will have problems. There were two chrome inspired themes where the letters on the maps app won't work.

Ok, guess i'll poke around in git to see what's changed. Sorry about this :/
Nice. Good to see another light theme. Although it suffers many of the same problems as my Chromium theme. I can share some of my fixes if you like. Not sure I like the remnant crimson in the notification panel & thumb switches either. Good job though for a beta.

Yeah tell me about it. It's so hard to ensure there won't be any text issues, since you're flipping the entire ui and every app is coded differently. Im always open to bug fixes.

Found out why your navbar doesn't theme. For whatever reason, CM10 went back to hard coding their nav bars.
https://github.com/CyanogenMod/andr...es/SystemUI/res/layout/navigation_bar.xml#L26
So unfortunately, you won't be able to fix that without compiling your own System UI.apk. If you decide you'd like to try, i can help.
Theme looks nice!

Is it possible to fix the s5 AccuWeather widget bro? On 5x5 launcher, the temp and the logo over lap each other. Was curious if that can be fixed. Thanks bro!
Note 3 is poppin!

I was trying to figure that out before. I think it has something to do with the s5 launcher itself. There are a few apps it resizes itself. the accuweather and the calendar.
The resizable widget i made worked for a few, but on reboot the launcher broke them. So im going to try again after i get everything else done
Flashed the file it went fine but it kinda looks different

What:screwy:
I'm currently running just the stock rooted rom that effortless had in his instructions thread. I've not flashed any other mod than one I made for the 4 way reboot.
So I'm not sure man. I had one issue that I've seemed fixed. I had grumpy weather installed and it kept popping up unified daemon crashed. But I never saw that one
I know you know what your doing, so I'm not gonna ask if you screwed something up. Lol

From talking to people, it should work fine. This doesn't touch anything that got changed

THANKS... I was going to flash it, but I was fixing my phone first, then my wifes...
after I get the backups done, I will flash it and try.... I just wanted to make sure it wouldn't affect anything else...
edit: just flashed it, working just fine... I use a black background, and all is good...
How do I revert back to the original? I'm running effortless rev6 with apex and it did something weird?
Seems to work fine on the stock launcher, doesn't like apex?
Well it's a Samsung widget so only TouchWiz launcher is all its gonna work on. All in all it likes apex just not for it?
@cbucz24
just wanted to give an update on this,
it has been working on all the new releases for our Tmobile N900T and also for the N9005 releases without issues,
I insert this on my own personal roms, what I do is, put this in my rom - accuweather apk, remove the odex file in my rom, since its a odex rom, it is just easier..
thanks...
just wanted to write this so others will see this on the first page, for whoever doesn't know about this....
