Trickster Mod Values? - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Well, my Gnex's screen appears to be slightly off and usually turns purplish on the lowest brightness settings instead of being the usual grey. Well, i sort of fixed it with Trickster Mod by modifying the Color Multiplier and Gamma values as well as the Contrast.
But I still cannot get a proper value to fix this problem so i thought i might be very happy to hear from others having similar problems
Thanks and cheers!

Here are Nephilim's color settings used in Trickster Mod. I use them and they are very bright and vibrant.
Content Adaptive Brightness: On
Contrast: -5
Gamma Adjustment: 5
Gamma Offset Red: -5
Gamma Offset Green: -3
Gamma Offset Blue: 7
Color Multiplier Red: 260
Color Multiplier Green: 276
Color Multiplier Blue: 340
Regular Brightness Settings: Autobrightness is off and I have it manually set to 50%
If anyone has issues when the Green Gamma Offset is a negative number boost all Gamma Offset Colors up by 3 to make Red -2, Green 0 and Blue 10, then drop Contrast down to -8 rather than -5, this should give you almost the same result.

using whatever settings your eyes are comfortable with. there is no best/optimal settings as it is different for everybody's screen
stock galaxy nexus values out of the box was 200,200,200 i believe (if you want to use that as a base)

Oh yes this is great! But, maybe it's my old screen, i still get purplish hue on the lowest brightness. I got that fixed by adjusting the contrast to -24. Thanks! :good:

Well, i'm sure there's something wrong with my screen on the hardware side because it gave me purplish hue on the lowest brightness settings. but ya, thanks! I solved it!

Try this
- Set multipliers to Dark
- Red gamma -5
- Green gamma 0
- Blue gamma -4
- DSS gamma 7
if you still get some purple try reducing the dss gamma or play with the red/blue gamma values
change the rom!!!
Color Multiplier Tuning
Red: 180
Green: 192
Blue: 200 ( 215 if on jellybean 4.2)
Color Gamma Tuning
Red: -4
Green: 0
Blue: 5
trinity contrast: 0
omap: 1.0
these are from franco's roms, I never found anything better, trinity settings are way too blue for my liking; I hear that is subjective though, it seems that not every display is alike.
There's a whole thread about this with almost the exact same title.

kernel color settings

Hello everyone, I just installed a kernel with color control and I don't like the colors now. Can someone tell me the color multipliers and gamma offsets values and in fact everything I need for exactly the stock look, please? I'm using trickster's mod.

The numbers to make the screen display properly will vary phone to phone. Default is color multipliers set to 200 for each color, gamma offsets set to 0, and contrast and gamma adjustment set to 0. Whether that looks right on your screen or not is up to your specific device and your eyes.

Light settings on pa 2.53

Just wondering if any of u hav a fix or diff adjustment. I've been playing w the light filters and color multiplier settings. In the daytime or when the screen backlight is 50 or so my display looks great. When I have auto on in dark lighting or set the adjustment to make n my greys look purple blue. Any adjustment I make I cant get the greys grey in low backlight settings. Her is a screenshot of my light sensor values. Also for rgb I'm at 87 160 230. All other at zero

Trinity color settings

I have messed up the color settings after installing Trinity kernel. It is bit too dark and blueish now.
Made changes using Trinity Kernel Toolkit. Are there any default settings or color values to get it right.

Kernel Colour settings.... which do you use?

Hi guys, just wants some opinions on what the best colour settings are for kernels?
Gamma offset....
colour multiplier?
whats the best
Here are my settings.
Contrast -2
Gamma Adjustment 0
Red -2
Green 0
Blue 3
Color multiplier
Red 200
Green 200
Blue 200
(I really like these all set to 400, but I hear it's not good to run them that high)
There is no best. Most screens will likely be a little different. So experimentation is the best way to find what works best for your screen.
That said, there is a thread full of folks putting their findings on site here. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1790325
As already said. You have to find out what's best for you!
I used them as basis and tweaked them a 'lil.
My Colors:
Content Adaptive Brightness: Off
Contrast: -5
Gamma Adjustment: 5
Gamma Offset Red: -5
Gamma Offset Green: -3
Gamma Offset Blue: 7
Color Multiplier Red: 250
Color Multiplier Green: 266
Color Multiplier Blue: 330
Regular Brightness Settings: Autobrightness is off and I have it manually set to 75%
If anyone has issue with the Green Gamma Offset being negative boost all Gamma Offset Colors up by 3 to make Red -2, Green 0 and Blue 10, then drop contrast down to -8 rather than -5, this should give you almost the same result.

Used different combinations for a while but I'm still using the stock android colors:
Gamma colors all 0 and multipliers all 200. Using Trickster Mod
Gamma - 4,0,5
Multipliers 160,172,200
In my opinion the best color control!
