Hands free car kit - One (M7) Accessories

Hi guys I'm in the market to buy a hands free car kit and because I spend most of my time in the car(courier) I really need the best one, from what I see it comes down to the jabra freeway, blueant commute and Motorola roadster2. Please let me know which is the best and give me your general opinionabout this or maybe other brands

I can't comment directly on the BlueAnt Commute, but I've been using one of their S4 speakerphones in the car for a long while and love it. I can't imagine that the Commute would be any different.

i am using jabra freeway, sound quality, battery backup and pairing etc all are simply outstanding. you can set up your own fm channel and use any music player to stream music.
size wise its quite mobile.
this is the only bluetooth device which i have seen which gets updates. have gone thru 2 updates and they keep improving stuff.

Bluetooth headset!

Hello! Asking for a nice bluetooth headset that looks like the motorola s305 that works with the captivate. Any recommendations? Or the s305 is good enough?
I like the s305 because it is cheap and has good reviews in amazon.

I have an s305 and it's worked perfectly with my Captivate.
Great! I'll be buying that then. Have u encountered any problems with it yet?

I also have a pair of the S305s. They work great with the Captivate. I've had them for about two weeks. During this time I've experienced no problems with them. Call quality is great; people say that I sound very clear. Listening audio quality is decent. I wouldn't recommend them (or any bluetooth headset) if you're an audiophile. I consider the audio quality good enough though for my purposes (running/working out). The built-in controls are convenient and work well with Pandora, Grooveshark, and the default media player. I would definitely recommend them for the price.
Blueant T1 is my fav, one ear headset that streams music. DLs phonebook automatically aswell
I have been using a pair of S305s for almost a year. I love it. Its comfortable, I wear glasses and read people had problems with others on Amazon. I too bought it for the price. Its really easy to set up, I have then linked to my phone, TV, and ps3. The controls are great, they didn't work with my iPhone, but work great in both the android phones I used. They last me all day. I use them in the car ride to and from work, and most of the time at work. They still hold a charge that will almost last me two days if I forget to charge them.
I would definately recommend then and would not hesitate to buy another if I needed one.

Motorola HT820 is a great stereo headset that works great!
if you want more freedom with your headset, you might want to take a look at the sonyericsson mw600. basically, it lets you plug in any pair of earphones/headphones you want. you can also plug in speakers for instant wireless sound system, so the use is quite versatile. i've had mine for quite a while and i've never looked back.

New stereo bluetooth headset

Now i've searched in another forum but they didn't quite understand me.. what I want is a both ears headset, my old one broke, it was the plantronics backbeat 903+, it was practecly perfect.. 7 hours listening to music, complete control over the phone from the headset.. I'm looking for something similer, someone recommended the backbeat GO, but they only have 4 hours.. and it's nothing.. despite how awesome they look.. so.. any suggestions?
tnx in advance.
I have Sony Ericsson Bluetooth dongle. It comes with in ear headphones, but the dongle itself has 3.5 mm input. Yo can use it with all kind of headphones. 10 hours non stop music. And the sound is crystal clear.

If your budget allows ($170), check out the new Jaybird Bluebuds X that just came out a few weeks ago. I ordered mine from their site and am blown away by the sound quality and battery life.
very pricey, but its worth every penny.
how many hours does it actually clock?

I've never done an actual benchmark test on the battery. Perhaps this weekend, I'll pair it with my laptop and leave it streaming throughout the day(s)
I've been pretty happy with the LG Tone headphones I got a while back. They have a collar piece, but it's not bad. Very good battery life and sound.
I got a Motorola s10-hd for $25 from woot.com and it works great

I have an LG Tone headset too (HPS-730). They are pretty comfortable and claimed to have a talk time of 15hours. Although i haven't yet tested that to the max, but i've run through the whole day without charging them.
GS3 has aptX,and the problem is that there are almost no BT headphones that take advantage of this. I have Samsung HS3000 and use with good quality IEMs. It is not as good quality as wired, but is way better than non-aptX headsets.
If you are determined to get a native BT, it is a pretty short list with aptX, like maybe 2-3.
There's a brand new Motorola Bluetooth (S-11 maybe?) Headset which replaces the S10. It has apt-x, the earbuds are adjustable, looks pretty nice. No personal experience though.
I freakin' love my Jabra Sport. Comfortable, light weight, and holds enough charge for 4 trips to the gym each week. And the sound quality is great, with plenty of volume. (http://www.jabra.com/products/bluetooth/jabra_sport/jabra_sport)
I've had the Moto S9 and S10 (essentially identical) and they suck. Moisture always gets in and they stop working. Sound quality is weak and the volume isn't loud enough. Avoid these at all costs. Look at any list of reviews on these and you'll see the same results from everyone.

Bluetooth headset

I like to use bluetooth headsets to talk to the phone. With all my previous phones (samsung,lg,zte, huawei) I have always used Nokia bluetooth headsets. With this phone people don't hear me good with my Nokia headsets. So can anyone suggest me a headset that works perfectly with the One?
Plantronics Voyager Legend. I've had many BT headsets, and this one is the best by far. I can stand 2 feet away from a running diesel engine, and the person on the other end asks me why I'm shouting. The noise cancellation is just unbelievable with this thing.

That site doesn't help. I know where to buy bluetooth headsets and I know that generally all are compatible with the phone. What I would like to know is from users that use bluetooth headsets if they have to suggest a specific bluetooth headset that they use and know that it doesn't make noise to them or to the others that they talk with.
take this with a grain of salt as I don't use the phone feature that much.
my old LG hbs-700 worked very well, great sound and good phone reception as well, I received or placed phones while in gym, biking, etc.
I know there is a newer version featuring apt-x as well, you might wanna search for reviews on this.
since then I moved to on-ear headsets, I really like this telme2 headset I bought a couple of months earlier, good sound again, very rich, apt-x, no lag streaming audio from tv; I have also used mostly to receive calls, no complaints here, the phone reception is OK on both ends.
I also own the sennheiser mm 400-X, I have used very little for calls, but seems to do the job OK. however this latter device it's much more expensive, imo too expensive to justify its features..

I use Teamspeak about 75% of my day over my Plantronics HM-7000 never ran into many issues . On constant on use you get about 4-5 hours out it because I use voice activation method

Plantronics Bluetooth headsets...(Y)
Check out this Plantronics Explorer Bluetooth headset....and I believe you will like it for sure...I am using it from last 1 year and they are just as like the most loyal gadget to me... it has a great noise cancellation feature...pretty adjustable and very fine grip...it does not create any problem in any sense at all...So I really like it...I got this one for $ 19 - Shipped and I will seriously thank the reseller for this product as it was very impressive one and worth of cost too....
Thanks !!!!

Yep, I have the LG Tone+ bluetooth earbuds and they work very well.
I assume you're enquiring about the play/pause/forward/back buttons on the headphones and whether they work with the Play Music program? If so, then yes, they work flawlessly for me at least.
I'm rocking the jabra rox wireless bluetooth
http://www.jabra.com/products/bluetooth/jabra_rox/jabra_rox
Old school Plantronic BackBeat 903's work fine.
Rocking the Jaybird Bluebuds X and it connects within 2 seconds, consistently. I use them with Play Music for my cloud music, and PowerAmp for offline media. Their MSRP is expensive, but I got them brand new for way under MSRP, thanks to SlickDeals

I bought them in the apple store $129.00
Not earbuds, but have been using the Sony DR-BTN200 bluetooth on ear headphones and they work great! It is NFC compatible as well, so it complements marvelously with my Nexus 5.
not earbuds but I use this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Avantree-Saturn-Bluetooth-Transmitter-corporated/dp/B0085HOM4K
With my very old but awesome sounding denon 751's. It makes any ear/headphones bt compatible and in my experience it works great at close range either in the car or while commuting. Battery lasts me about 5 to 6 hours use over 4 days.
Sound quality has not been hit at all my denons sound the same as when plugged in directly to the nexus 5.
Yup I've used both GoGroove BlueVibe EBX and Klipsch Image ONE Bluetooth headphones.

What do you think of the Yurbuds wireless?
Im looking for some bluetooth buds. I have a pair of the wired pro ones and like them for running, but they dont have the best music quality though.

i really like them for working out or running. they stay in place. the only con i have about them is that if you wear them with the cord behind your neck sometimes they can get caught when turning your head certain ways. to avoid that now i just wear them with the cord to the front. doesnt look as cool lol but cant feel anything but the buds in your ears. the sound quality is decent. one big thing i loved about these tho is that when you're wearing them it doesnt feel like you're covering your ears with your hands and can hear everything like footsteps or anything rubbing up against you. i originaly bought some jaybirds and they did exactly that, it was just too annoying for the price i had paid. i could hear my footsteps in my head and the cord rubbing up against my neck, you had to put the music too loud to try and cover the noises but you could always hear it
Great, thanks for all the replies guys.
I got myself a Plantronics BackBeat GO 2 Bluetooth Earbuds and they worked amaizingly with all the buttoms features it has, they are like 8 diferent combos for calls and etc.
I would really recommend this if anyone is looking for great bluetooth earbuds. :highfive:
I'm using the Outdoor Technology Bluetooth Tags with Play Music.
Jaybird Freedom JF3
they work perfectly... even though they're a bit older now and kind of bulky

Bluetooth headphones

Now that we can synch music to the Moto 360 and connect a bluetooth device to listen to this music does anyone have any recommendations on bluetooth headsets?
I'm not after anything special, simple a pair to replace my current headphones (in ear Apple ones). For more serious listening I have more serious equipment
You might want to test it out with someone else's Bluetooth speaker first as some earlier review says it drains battery fast
Sent from my SM-N750 using XDA Free mobile app
If you want to go ahead after testing the battery drain.
I fully recommend Motorola S11-HD
I've tried many different brands and these are without questionthe pair with the best sound quality.
Deep bass and clear treble, battery lasts around 4 hours and takes about 45 mins to charge.
Amazing for $60
Thank you for your recommendation.

I will go for Plantronics Edge, so far the best and modern looking headset i've ever used. Both for call and music streaming sound quality ( stay away from jawbone era new no one can hear you through this headset, what a pity for nice piece of art)
If you want cheap/decent then try the Jam Transit earbuds. Only $40 but the sound is pretty decent. But be careful with some headphones/speakers because while my Jams pair and play, my Motorola Sol DECK will pair but refuses to play. No clue why and it's only with the watch.
You'd think since both are Motorola there wouldn't be any problem!
