Need help downloading this ROM from this Link Its mainly for the N7105, AT&T and T Mobile i believe from their website.... poeple say its one of the best and packs the latest linux kernel and very much tweaked for performance and battery.
My ISP is slow and bills me alot...my downloads keep failing everytime when I download from their site.. I instead downloaded the file from the Galaxy Note 2 AT&T version but it nearly bricked my device soo if there is anyone out there who would like to try this ROM can they upload it somewhere where I could download it from them or share it with me ? I need this ROM badly

hey guys i got a T-mobile Galaxy S2, i've jus rooted it and i want to install a CHINESE rom on it. i search all over the web and i couldn't find anything. the build version is UVKID where can i download a chinese rom for it? do i need to back up my current rom? if so how to do i do it? and can i get FULL infor how to install the rom?
P.S: im new to installing rom on android. so please provide me as much infor as possible.

If you mean a T-Mobile USA device, no i9100 rom will work as it has a different processor. If you have ever an i9100, there may be one out there but I would not be the one to ask.

you don't need to install a Chinese ROM, you just need to add / install Chinese language packs
Flash Juggernaut 2.6. They have added a number of languages and it is lightning fast (maybe j0hnz lit'ening theme will also please you).

like i said above on my 1st post. how excatly do i install the rom on there? and do i need to back up my current rooted rom?
oh and how come my OS is running so slow? its running on 2.3.5. it have about 300-370 mbs free space. but when i go into message its really slow.

that post has everybit of info there is for our brand of beast.
The phone isnt natively slow but it does have its quirks. When I tested it instore I found that returning to home screen was slow. It was found that there was a delay added for the vlingo voice app.
I am currently using beast mod with jugs .3 kernel. I completely dig it and I think the battery life is fantastic.

The GPS do not work and i want to install another rom.(i think it has something to do with the rom, its a china rom i think.)
Downloaded Odin Mobile and i get an error : A compatible device was detected but with an unexpected partition layout. Mobile odin cannot operate. This is a common error on CM and MIUI ROMs on some devices
I have never tried flashing a rom to a android phone before, and must say i am pretty "green"..
I really hope on some help

I live in Shanghai and the last time I saw a Android 4.1.5 was on a fake Galaxy S3.
If it's a fake Note2 there's nothing XDA can do for you.

I think that in practice what you are trying to do is install a ROM that is made for SG Note 2 to your phone, that's not a Note 2... Hopefully it gave an error and it wasn't possible because if your phone did flash the ROM, I think that you would end up with a bricked China Note 2 instead of a working one
Mine is I think original Samsung Galaxy Note II or the least recond bcoz I checked at the back Samsung made in Korea assembled in china and comes with warranty. And FYI I would like to flash cwm ROM and flash 4.2+ like jellybean or kitkat sir but I just can't enter download mode but I didn't yet used adb download mode bcoz its very big to download man.half a gig.Thanksgiving

China is a very tricky place to buy gadgets if you live there. I had the same problem with my first galaxy tab, and thats when i got aquatinted with XDA since then. No problems with S3's and Note 2's as you can find them rooted with proper ROM's even at the stores here.
I got my hands on the Note 8 as soon as it came, and there is not much happening in the development area so far. I have achieved Root, but failed to flash anything, as there is only 1 German ROM available. Anybody who can contribute in giving ROM and CSC solutions for expats living and working in China would be appreciated and properly thanked

There are a ton of stock ROMs for a lot of markets for the N5110. I don't know if there are as many for the device you have, which I think is a 5100?

Thank you for your suggestion. Yes i got the N5100 and sammobile is great. However it is blocked in China, and can be accessed only through VPN. Same like sites like hot file.com etc...
Therefor this website is a perfect haven for us who reside in China. If we would have more links here would be very helpful..
Unfortunately, the files are are huge (the stock firmware is a 1.1 gig file) so uploading and hosting is a chore.
If you had a copy of the play store would it work?
There are copies of the play store all over the place. I'd think you could extract the APK that's used with CM10 and install that, as long as you had root.

First I achieved root with framaroot and then after I downloaded gapps I flashed the zip from CWM. Gave my gf's Note 8 international character. Waiting for a black 32Gb to come up for my self

I was thinking you'd pull the play store APK out and install it after rooting your device - but great to know the whole thing can be installed.

Not possible on L variant ATM. Use a custom ROM(prefably cm10.1). Stock sucks.

I'm trying to using DN3 v5 FOR NOTE 2 N7105, ATT I317, I317M Rom for my Note 2 GT-N7105... But I've a slow internet connection, so the download link from Mega cloud service causing error and I'm not able to download the large 1.86GB file in my PC. The download is not resume capable too.
Can I get a non Mega download link from anyone, that I can resume...I've tried to post it to official DN3 thread, but apparently I'm not allowed to post there until I've 10 post in XDA forum previously.
Help me get over this big trouble as I wont be able to download the Rom without resume support
Dropbox/Mediafire/Copy link would be much helpful

I'm Sorry i dont have any links but Google megadownloader and download the program and u'll be able to download the ROM wid no probs and resume capability.

Not sure if it will help you, but my download failed too, so instead of using just chrome to download it, I used jDownloader http://jdownloader.org/
This way the download finished just fine...
(install jDownloader and start the program, copy the mega download link, the link will be verified in jDownloader in the tab "Link grabber", right click link and click "continue with all", download will start....)
tried Megadownloader... helped me. Thanks a life saver...
