Hi,
My phone keeps rebooting, so I thought I install the 4.08.605.19 Rom. I am currently on PagePlus. Therefore, using Clockworld Recovery, I tried to install the Rom on my rooted(and S-Off) phone. I followed the guide that is on this site and was able to install the rom without any issues.
However, when I got to the activation screen, I couldn't click anything. I couldn't click the "Android logo" or the "Change Language" or the "Emergency Dial" button. I even tried clicking on the 4 corners, but that didn't work either. I tried rebooting many times, but the same issue occurred all the time. Does anybody know what I can do? Does this have anything to do with my HBoot version being 0.92?
P.S: I even restored the phone back to my original version and tried "Touch Of Blue V3.0", but that had some permission issues and the installation was aborted.
Thanks,
Ashish
Does anybody have any ideas? Could it have anything to do with clockworkMod not installed correctly?
Also, another thing I noticed is that after I installed the rom, there were no countries in the dropdown list that comes up on the activation screen.
Do you think the rom didn't install completely? Or does this have anything to do with the "boot" part of the rom?
Thanks,
Ashish

Hi,
I flashed the ROM to my Desire HD and the ROM boot correctly. If I want to restart the phone I got the message that I will loose all temp files.
After I restored all my applications and data with titanium bake up I rebooted phone. After phone booted I got the message of an unexpected interruption of the process android acore and can't do nothing else than restore to my previous ROM.
Obviously my phone is rooted with radio S-off, I followed the procedure for flash the ROM as shown on the instruction but I don't really know why I got that error message.
Any help?
Thanks
Hey guys, I've looked at other threads but I just can't seem to find the solution. I've installed the new Cyanogenmod. I've installed the ROM and when the phone reboots, I keep getting the 'Touch Android to begin'-screen. No matter what I do, nothing works. I've done full swipes, reboots, tried to only install CM7 (where before I had the Radio and Google Apps as well). Nothing seems to work. Any ideas?
First give some info:
what recovery are you using
s-on or s-off
what hboot - bravo or cm7
how is your sdcard partitioned
i was using CyanogenMod 7 and never got problems.
So, your phone works normally but every time you reboot you have to do the setup from beginning?
Or, does it freeze on the "touch the Android..." screen?
Can anyone tell me why, when I install a custom ROM on my phone, when I start using it, it brings up a message at the bottom of the screen saying "Sending..."
Codename Android ROM.
What is it sending?
Tried searching but no joy.
Cheers.
This is just a guess as I don't use that rom. But perhaps its statistical data about the rom installs?
Some time ago, I've tried to download some game from android market, but shortly after it finished, "process.google.acore has stopped" appeared. After showing up rapidly a few times, the error forced my phone to shut down.
After rebooting (CM 11 installed with 6.0.4.8 CWM) and unlocking the screen lock, the error showed up again. After dismissing it, I got another "google.process.gapps has stopped" and then "google Keep has stopped". Some seconds later, there was an error notification in the status bar (backup account needed) and another bunch of errors. I was unable to even get to the drawer, because the erorrs were showing one after another instantly. Finally, the phone crashed (I think...) by suddenly displaying cyanogenmod boot screen (it was stuck this way for 3 hours before the battery ran out). I tried rebooting it again a few times, but with the same outcome every time.
My first guess was to re-flash CM11. After full wipe and install from zip (no errors) the phone booted up... right into the system I was using minutes before, with the same wallpaper, pattern lock, theme and problem described above. Then, I tried some solutions found online such as:
1. flashing CWM (no effect; even worse, when I tried flashing older version to see if anything changed, it was still the newest one!)
2. flashing diffrent ROM (liquid-smooth, no effect, still CM11)
3. flashing stock kernel
4. flashing stock ROM
I gave up for two weeks, but today I tried again flashing CM11, but I received status 7 error (liquid-smooth got "some syslinks are missing")
I'm slowly running out of ideas, now I just want my phone to run ANYTHING. Please help me, because I think I tried every solution from XDA and nothing worked.

No effect, CM11 still shows up after boot
Isn't the syslinks problem due to a broken NAND memory? That's what I've gathered from the problems cropping up recently.
The best thing to do is contact the ROM developer.

Ok, so here is the thing. I know a little bit about rooting & custom roms as I rooted & installed custom roms on my previous phone. Some days ago, I unlocked xiaomi phones bootloader, installed twrp, tried to flash rom but no luck. It showed "update process ended with error 7", but that is not the issue here. As I mentioned i flashed custom roms on my previous phone, that same phone I tried flashing custom roms agaim, but I get that error "updated process ended with error 7" And then I tried to flash custom rom on my lg g3, the same error appears again. This makes me suspicious, what am I doing wrong? Whats the the problem? I searched on the net for this error, it showed me, if you install unsupported rom then this message apppears, but I am not installing any unsupported roms, then why is this error keep showing on my every phone??
