I can't root at fw 4.0.2.a.0.69

Hey guys how I can root my play with the 4.0.2.a.0.69 firmware?
I have make my traditional way to root and it doesn't work I hope that can help me.

Flash a custom kernel, like doomkernel and it will be rooted

I`m searching for disciplexone`s kernel v1.1 as a flashable zip but I did not find it anywhere. So the question is, if anyone of you have this kernel ??

He's looking for the v1.1 DSCPLX Kernel, not the v1.2 one.

[Q] OTA wont work..

Hey Dudes,
since i have updated to last 4.2.2 sony jb firmware and rooted (doom) and istalled dualrecovery (NUT) my ota won't work anymore.
What is the reason? Is it Root or Recovery or both?

Any change in system partition disables ota. You can flash just the system from an apropriate ftf if you need to update ota.

So I have to flash back to stock? A soundmod will also disable ota? Holy crap...

Yes, I think so. I just deleted preinstalled facebook and OTA didn't work....

installing amazon stock rom from jellybean ??

I`ve been wondering if it is possible to install amazon`s stock rom again.
note : I didn`t do a back up before installing the costume rom.

Yes you are in luck. There is a restore tool. Look for that in the dev section. It's marked as a sticky.
