You could try alsamixer from the play store or you could do a mod to increase volume from the following thread

On TW roms you cannot get notifications and call volume to be the same. Is there a way to do this or is this only available on aosp roms?
It is very annoying to have to change both each time.

Im usuing gs3 i9300 hd rev 25.0 xxemc3 4.1.2 (samsung based rom) siyah kernel.
I always use the function the volume boost in call at speaker and not at speaker.
Its annoying to press all the time on that funcrion
Thereis a way it is auto will be clicked?

Update mate, existenz is outdated. Try ROMs based on.96, they have Volume up button bug fixed. Or you can wait till niaboc releases v3 based on .96
