Change TWRP Backup Location? - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note II

Is there a way to change the Backup location for TWRP? I am trying to backup my phone before I put a new Rom on it but I don't have enough space on my internal storage. I have a 32GB card that I would like to save my backups to. It works fine with photos and such, and I can see it in file explorer, but I can't figure out how to send my backups to it.

When your in twrp, then select restore, you'll see it says internal sd or storage, press that and you'll have the option to put it on your external sd card

[Q] Move Apps to SD Card

I am running the T-Mobile Galaxy S III CM10 Nightly, I have the 16GB version with a 16GB SD Card. I for some reason don’t have the option to move apps to my SD Card? I tried a 3ed party app to do this but get an error saying I’m out of space but the SD card is blank?
I tried a few different SD Card with no luck? My file manager can see the SD Card and its content? I tried running a fix permissions but still no luck?
You can't move apps to your Sdcard. Samsung is to blame for this.

I was just giving you crap,
I would love for someone who knows more about this topic to actually reply with some details. But to offer my limited understanding, I have read of two options to move apps/data to ext SD:
Directory Bind, which you can read more about here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1889550.
and
Link2SD, which you can read more about here, specifically with respect to the S3 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=33831712&postcount=3379
I do not know how well these options truly work, as I am still investigating it for myself, but hopefully this will help. Of course, again, I would love for someone with more knowledge of this - specifically with respect to the S3 - to post here and offer some help.

Would you mind telling me how you partitioned your SD card? did you do something like in this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1726014&page=2. If so, and it works, that would be great... I did not know titanium backup had this feature. Thanks!

I didn't partition the sd. Didn't know I was supposed to. I'm not sure what that does or what the benefit is. I'm very much the noob when it comes to that. Sorry for not having a good answer for you.

While it seems this thread is somewhat dead, I thought I would post my findings on this topic. Using Directory Bind, following the setup in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1889550 works great - I have moved several games to my sd card without any problems. You can download Directory Bind here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1410262. I installed version 0.2.0o. I hope this helps.

This is great, was just going to post that link Sorry to bump a dead thread, but I wanted to pass along something else useful. There is also this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1849860 Where you flash a script and use a script manager app to to edit the init.d file to allow sd card mount on boot, essentially making the phone think that the external card is the internal storage.

[Q] My Rom is Telling me I'm phone is almost full but...

When I look from the perspective my computer I can;t identify where I have fill all 15 GB from?
Could this be a possible error from the Rom its self or is it hidden files that wouldn't be seen by my computer that is causing these kinds of issues?
I have also tried switching to have most my app and information stored on the SD card but nothing seem to be working.
Thanks for any help in advance.

Do you take a lot of pictures and/or video? If you're using a TouchWiz-based ROM, then you can tell the camera app to use the external storage (SD card) instead of local storage.
You can move them over with any file manager app.
Otherwise, I'm not sure. It's possible you have some games installed that simply can't be moved to SD, but that's pretty rare now days.

Nope
I don't really take any pictures nor do I store anything on my phone really.
Here are the screenshots I took of my memory usage.
My SD card is more Full than the internal memory.
I had tried doing a factory reset which did lower the totally memory usage but still had the system memory issue.

Agreed but I don't know 100% what to do about it.
I have done a wipe but it seems like its always still full which doesn't make sense.
I looked into storage after I installed a 4.2 rom and it said I have 4.2GB from CWM but then I can't find the files to back that up when I look from the computer side.
Any Ideas?

Lost.dir is for a repair recovery thingy for Mac I think. So basically, you can delete it's content if it's not something you wish to recover.

].I'm sorry if any of these are dumb question but I'm kinda new to this but if you could please help me it would be greatly appreciated.. so I have wicked rom downloaded to my phone and I believe it is dl to the internal sd. So when I do the wiping that is required to do before flashing... the rom will still be on the internal sd after wipe correct? Also I have the t999 sgs3 but it is unlocked for att. It will still be unlocked right? And when I flash the rom I still put T-Mobile in the set up? Also one more thing how do I know if my phone is ics. Or jb cause I have the v8 jb downloaded I'm sry for all the question I just wanna be 100% before I do this
I'll try to answer a few of them which i can
*wiping won't delete rom files from internal sd
*it'll still be unlocked
*check android version in settings - about 4.0.4 = ics 4.1.x/4.2.x=jb

If you're worried about losing any if your important content, including your nandroid backups, I recommend either transferring your content to a flash drive or to your pc that way you'll always have it and know where to look for it in case anything were to go wrong on your phone. You can also upload your content to a cloud but that can take a bit more time. If this helped please hit thanks as it really does help my status here on XDA.

No. Nandroids are recovery dependant. You would need to revert back to TWRP in oder to restore that backup and vice versa if a backup was made in CWM. Install GooManager from the Play Store, hit menu, then select "Install Openscriptrecovery" to flash the latest TWRP.

You can use CWM or TWRP. What he's saying is you cannot recover a TWRP backup through CWM or vice versa.
So if you plan to use CWM, make a backup with CWM so you can recover in case something goes wrong. Your TWRP backup will not work with CWM.

If you need more space, you can copy your older backups to the Laptop / PC ? Then delete them off the Device / SD Card. That way you still have a copy of you need it. I always keep one in Cloud Storage just in case.

S3 internal storage bug?

Nandroid Backups take up a lot of room. Depending on which Recovery you are using. They are either going to be in a Folder called CWM, or TWRP . What you can do if you do not want to get rid of them all, is to create a folder on your PC /Laptop. Then copy them over. I always keep at least one Nandroid on the Device, one on the Laptop, and one in Cloud Storage. You may also want to review your Internal SD Storage. Clean up old folders, if they are not being used.
You could try something like storage analyzer.
