if you're in a folder with 1000 files, how do you select ALL files without having to individually touch each file when using Root Explorer?
I feel like a dunce but I'm sure there's a super easy way to do it...

solved - right after I posted I saw that you just touch the square icon at the upper right.

Funny, I was just searching for this answer. I'm not sure why though, I don't have a square icon in the upper right.

Duh, OK. You have to select one file first. Then the select all toggle appears.

I think it depends on the device. It's a square with four squares within. On my N5 it appears on the bottom next to the trash icon.

Honeybar is a good app to hide/unhide the notification bar in android 3.2. Its great but i have noticed a little lag. Anyone else notice this?
I have been using HoneyBar for a day now. I haven't noticed any slowing of my A100 - what exactly do you mean by "lag"?
Some applications are not optimized for the tablets full resolution an in turn lags/stutters/run slow.... I also use Honeybar allot but can't in some games

Input lag, menu lag. Its not real bad, but its there.
Honeybar although does the job causes stutter in home and app drawer. Just glad I only paid $1. I use this one called HideBar and doesn't affect performance at all and ofcourse no lag and better interface to hide and several options to unhide. And its free! Kudos to the dev.

I think we need to change thread title to just "true full screen"
Sent from my PG86100 using XDA App
man, lag is definitely something annoying.
but whats worse, is on portrait mode, you can't click recent app button without triggering the hide bar button!!
contact the dev today, and we'll see what happens
@aznmode thanks for the info about Hidbar, will check it and report back, definitely worth the try
update:
tried the app, and looks GREAT
on both landscap and portrait mode, but i hoped it wasn't with a notification bar (less stack)

What do you mean less stacked? I love hide bar. I'm thinking about creating a new thread for it. Since this thread title is Honeybar specific.
we should start up a new thread for all the various tweeks found scattered throughout this forum. Although once I get around to zipaligning and deodexing this rom I'm going to try to release it as a one stop solution. You'll just have to push the system.img file through adb (I hope it works).

well, with the additional icon for the tweak(to click on and hide). I just didn't like more stuff on my tab bar!
i think it would be great if someone could get the home button to hide and unhide the bar at bottom. Make it a full screen button. Could it be done?

Thats true theres already a lot of stuff in the task bar BUT the taskbar is always there no matter what app you're in so its quicker access. Id rather it be there than to have another button floating around my screen or to have it as a widget.
Maybe if you have a better idea how to activate/deactivate it we can email the developer to see what he can do?

I totally agree and I posted this question before in the how to edit home button thread. I tried editing home function and point to the directory of hidebar but that didn't work. But again I was just guessing on my part. I'm sure there has to be a way.

An extra icon isnt so bad IMO. As far as making the home button hide/unhide is a good idea but I like having the home button be a home button when I have the status bar hidden. So when I'm in full screen and I need to go home I just press it. Otherwise Id have to press it to enable status bar, then press home on the status bar, then press it again to disable status bar to go back to full screen. So for me this would be 50/50 advantage.

I can easily make a modified version of the application to hard code our home button in there to hide/unhide the taskbar, but I don't want to face being banned because I "stole" code. Anyway I would just like to give back to the community because of people like crossix stepping up.
Never mind I looked and see the code on github I'll have something soon hopefully

Really pretty good.
Thanks OP! This is a GREAT app. Home screen is all cleaned up
Also search xda for Swift open
Edit* Iv set all the images i want in the theme customize section where you can change lockscreen and other things but still after I have done this. Everytime I open my phone I get a new background image. it's 12 diffrent ones with the clock and date in the lower left corner. Why is it overriding this setting? This is the stock setting isnt it the 12 looping backgrounds.
Swipe up from the bottom of the lockscreen and press the pause button. That should do it
---------- Post added at 09:31 ---------- Previous post was at 09:30 ----------
... And once you've done that, go and set the wallpaper you want

worked out !! Thank you!
And, non of the previous method on Android Pie works to bring it back. Seems the activity that is used to enable this itself has been removed from the Android 10 cause I can't find any through Nova Launcher. Do share if anybody has managed to enable or disable the full bezel in Android 10.

Absent, you have to use software from a 3rd party to enable it, i use the Nova Launcher method on Android 9, it will be a shame it that no longer works as well.
---------- Post added at 12:59 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:57 PM ----------
1. Install Nova Launcher (you don't have to use it, just install it)
2. Tap And hold on home screen and go to widgets
3. Chose Nova Launcher - Activities and place it on home screen
4. Scroll Down until you find settings and open it
5. Now scroll all the way down until you see Status bar style (.settings$NotchSettingsActivity)
6. Select it

I assume you've tried Nacho Notch. Doesn't work?
I was having the same issue with my repaired Nokia 8.1 (flashed with clean Android 10). And the Nova Launcher option was not working anymore (setting not available). A Google session found this thread and the solution there works for me:
Simply download 'settings database editor' from the play store and alter the 'notchfullbezel' setting. I have a UK TA-1128 and it works perfectly for me
Just change the option notch_full_bezel from 1 (black background) to 0 (your wallpaper) and there the notch is.
